    Hello Yigit,

These codes works like charm. Thanks.

However, just one thing left. If i click on Menu Name – “Portfolio”, and after page reloads. When i mouse hover on Portfolio Menu again, it shows first entry of Sub Menu “Portfolio 4 columns” as dimmed (light grey), which is not visible. The same case with any other active sub-menu item.
So, is there any setting from options which just reflects the color of ACTIVE sub-menu item.
If not, i would appreciate, if you could let me know the Quick CSS for this.

    Thanks

in reply to: How can i set Grid layout of images on Home page #243309

    Hello Peter,

Thanks for helping me out by providing the link for 3rd Party plugin. I hope it won’t interfere or create any problem with the theme.
    I would like to know-
1.I am not using child theme, so what should i do and how should i proceed.
    2. Do you mean to say, after installing the plugin, do i still need to add the code, or i can either install plugin or add the code, whichever convenient.

    3. My query regarding Grid Layout still exists.
As apart from using Gallery Elements, i still want to use Grid Layout somewhere else (may be other pages), for my images. How can i achieve that. You can have certain idea from this below link, i want to use somewhat like these-
    Grid Layout Preview

    Kindly help me.

    Thanks

    Hello Yigit,

    Thanks for your tip.
Part of the problem gets fixed.
    1. Problem- This gets resolved now.
    2. Problem- The Menu names are still shifted towards left and overlapping the LOGO.
Here HOME Menu name is overlapping the Logo, even if i use standard and recommended size of the logo.

    The URL is – http://www.labhanshicreations.com
I thought you could have seen the URL from the screenshot which i posted in earlier post above, that is why i let it open ;)

    Thanks

    Sorry for mistype.
    Its – http://www.labhanshicreations.com/

    Got it. Great.
Thanks for clarifying it much better way again :)

    Great thanks :)

By the way the custom css you provides works perfectly. Thanks.

I would like to know one thing, that people are using two similar terms “custom css” and “quick css”.
May i know what is the difference between these two.

    Thanks

    Hello Peter,

    Thanks for leaving it opened.
I asked hosting provider, and they helped me to resolve the problem. They increased the sizes as suggested by one of the member of your support team.
Wish i will be able to upload it via WordPress dashboard also from now onwards.

Now the topic can be closed.

Thanks for helping me out. :)

    Hello Yigit,

Thanks for providing additional custom code.
But unfortunately, still couple of things not working.

    1. While hovering on the Menu item “Portfolio”, it is not showing the colored Border at bottom of the Portfolio menu. (Means not showing border at bottom for those Menu items who are having sub-menus as drop down).

    2. After scrolling down about 1 inch or so, when we hover the same menu item “Portfolio”, it shows border, but only with the same length of the Portfolio menu name. I want it to extend, so as to cover the whole top fly over menu of the drop down. Extending from far left to far right of the fly over sub-menu.
Exactly the same way as it is reflecting in the demo.

    3. I choose “Alternative Background Color” to be white. But that is creating few problems. The background color of the Top Most header (showing social icons), the background of Search box also changes to white.
Also, the background on mouse hover for sub-menu items also changes to white, resulting, the menu items gets no more visible, as they changes to white color.

    Kindly help me.
    Thanks

    Hello Yigit,

Thanks for providing custom CSS for quick fix, i will try that and let you know.
But i would prefer, if this bug could be resolved, so as to avoid using additional CSS codes in the field, which is actually not required.

    Thanks

    Hello Dude,
Might be, but id didn’t cleared the cache. Probably hard refreshing couple of times makes it appear. :)
Thanks again, the ticket can be closed now. :)

    OK, thanks Devin.
Let me see what i can do for this. I will ask hosting provider for this.

If i need any further help i will let you know.
    Hope i gets the solution.

    Thanks

    Hello Yigit,
First line of code works, but second i think not. Let me explain more what is still not working-

    1. Small top headed arrow (just above the border line in center) is still not showing on active (current) menu, as what is shown in demo.

For 2nd question (in my last screenshot), i managed to find out. I remove Border colors (or change it as desired) from Options > Styling > Header.
This was the one- (Upon mouse hovering, it is showing brownish colored border below menu names just on top of sub
menu (fly-over), but in mine it is showing all over covering the whole box of sub menu items.)

    2. Upon Scrolling down a bit on Home page or any other, except the current (active) Menu the rest of the Menu Items are still dimmed (very light in color), unable to see.

    3. The same with sub menus items are still dimmed out, and that too without even scrolling down.

PS: I want Header background remain to be transparent, but menus and /or menu item names should be visible.

Can you please guide which setting will the 2nd line of code affects, provided by you.

    Thanks

    Hi Yigit,

    Hello Yigit,

Thanks for the elaborated tip. Great one.
And what CODE would work to hide footer also.

    Thanks

    Hello Ismael,

As i said earlier, it automatically started working fine, before i post previous message, or may be the settings you told me to resave them, because rest options were as it is.

But I just gave you link, so that you can also verify at your end too that what made it not working and why it started working on its own.

By the way, i checked on Chrome and Firefox on Win XP and it is working at my end too.

Thanks for your prompt response and support. :)

    Thanks

    Hello Ismael,
OK, no problem. So i think i should continue here.

    1. I checked and found that i can change and have the access to .htaccess files under public_html.
But i can’t find php.ini anywhere. Is it under public_html or somewhere else. Or should i have to create a new one and then add the lines.

    2. What lines do i need to add in .htaccess to increase max upload size, memory limit etc. so that i can thereafter upload the theme from the WordPress dashboard. Currently, i have the default lines in .htaccess file.

    Thanks

    Hello Dude,

    That’s perfect.

This is what i was looking for. You explained me exactly how and what i want.

I have one thing to know that one of my support question is now being locked for replies. But i wanted to reply and ask there something. How can i do so. Also, why is that being locked out. Is it according to days where no replies received from our side or automatically or for some other reason.
    The topic is – https://kriesi.at/support/topic/unable-to-install-fresh-theme-via-wordpress-dashboard/

Thanks again for your great help. I will try that option with Child theme.

    Thanks

in reply to: Unable to install fresh theme via WordPress dashboard #238370

    Uploading via cPanel worked, thanks.
But for future, kindly let me know, which files do i need to change or edit from my cPanel in order increase the limit for installation of files from WordPress dashboard. Kindly let me know the line number and how to do, as i have complete control over my cPanel, which my hosting provider has provided.

If files don’t need to be changed from cPanel then kindly let me know, what i have to ask to my host so that they can increase the limit from their end. I will request them to do so then.

    thanks

    Hello Ismael,

    1. I tried resaving also, but it seems not working. Surprisingly, it is reflecting at backend, but not showing at frontend.

    2. The Slideshow behavior is already being set to enable for “Start slideshow”. I tried resaving it also, but i think not working.
Below is the link for my site-
    http://www.labhanshicreations.com/

Kindly check and let me know, what should i do to make them work.

    Thanks

in reply to: How to change theme name from View Source #237985

    Thanks for your kind response.

I will go through the video. Codex link seems not that much helpful for me.

Regarding 3, the name for child theme that i would require is “ABC Child” instead of “Enfold Child”, so that i can link it with ABC Main theme name. Is that possible. If so, where else do i have to change the names for child theme and inside css of child theme so as to link it with ABC name for the Main theme.

And thereafter, if i update the theme, then do i have to first change the name of the folder and in CSS of the Main theme, while the zip folder is on my computer and then upload. Or it will automatically update and adapt.

What if i update via the theme update option tab within theme options.

    Thanks

in reply to: Unable to install fresh theme via WordPress dashboard #237978

    Thanks for your prompt response.
My server has a capacity of uploading a file of 150 MB from cPanel. I don’t think so there should be any problem.

I tried from other location and from another hosting account for testing purposes, but there also same problem appears.
Even today again, it is continuously having the same.
I would appreciate if you could check at your end too with fresh installation of the latest version via WP dashboard.

In the meantime, i am trying uploading it via cPanel. Will that be OK, i will try via FTP as last option.

    Thanks

    Hi Ismael,

Thanks for the quick tip. But won’t that make Menu bar hidden for all pages, infact whole site by default.

Is there any way to hide Main Menu bar and / or footer to specific pages, just like for Landing pages only.

    Thanks
