Well, if I want to use a centred menu and have no logo, there is a white space between the top menu and the main menu. I’d just like to reduce it down a bit. I presume the header height option would make the main menu smaller too?
I’ll have to give you a login to view it as the site isn’t live. Let me know if you need that still.
Cheers Yigit! :)
Great thanks Yigit!
Is there any way of reducing the gap, if I centre the menu?Yes I’d like to know the answer to this as well. I’d also like to make the logos larger as well on the top header and in the footer.
Also, is there a way of making the top bar header always appear on pages but hide the main menu? I’m using a one page scrolling style for the home page but have other pages that are separate and are accessible via the top bar.I’ve noticed that when you view a page outside of the ‘one page’ set up for scrolling, that if you try and click on an anchor link, the link doesn’t work and won’t take you back to the home page which is set up to scroll using anchor links. Is there a way around this by any chance?
Thanks,
Krissie
Hi Rikard,
The site isnt live yet. I will get in touch in the new year as I am now on holiday. I will create a login for you so you can see what I mean.So that shouldnt happen then? The load more should only load posts within the categories selected?
Im using the masonry grid and selected the categories i wanted displaying. I selected the load more option. Then when you select load more on the actual page categories appear that werent selected.
Very frustrating!
Cheers,
Krissie
Hey Raymmar.. love the site! Think it is very engaging! :)
Did you just use the tools that were there? No custom coding?
Like it!Hi guys,
I finished this site for a client a few months ago, using Enfold.
http://www.syniaditsolutions.co.uk/:)
For this particular project it was great to use!
Oh okay, that’s a shame. Avada has an option to change the style of an individual page at the bottom of each page in the backend.
Do you think you guys would consider doing this also? I think it would make Enfold even more powerful in the long run.
I’m not big on code so to change a page style this way is a bit daunting for me.Thanks anyway
July 10, 2015 at 10:31 am in reply to: How do you set up the avia login/register widget to work with bbPress? #471374Morning Yigit,
I think I’ve worked out the issue with the internal error, the bbpress plugin was conflicting with the anti-spam plugin. I also sorted the code block issue by deleting the pages and starting again.
However, I’m still having issues with the template interacting with bbpress.

There is no login option despite me using the bbpress login widget on the right hand side bar. Also, the footer disappears. Please can you have a look for me, using the login I’ve provided?
Thanks

July 9, 2015 at 6:14 pm in reply to: How do you set up the avia login/register widget to work with bbPress? #471061Hey Yigit,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I’ve created a temporary login for you see below. The shortcodes wouldn’t work in the code block when I tried it. So I’ve had to put them directly in the default editor for now. I would rather have it in a code block as I can then play with the page more.
Also, I can’t get the login widget to work for me, it causes an internal 500 error.
I’ve been looking at buddypress but just want a simple forum really and don’t need all these additional options that buddypress comes with. I’m following the bbPress instructions but there is no help with the bbPress plugin. I’ve asked their forum as well.
Cheers! x
Great, thanks for link.
Should bbpress shortcodes work in the avia code block?
I’ve taken the widget search away, so that is sorted.
Although when I share the link to the live forum page I get an internal error message: see below.
Any ideas why this is happening? How do you set up the avia login/register widget to work with bbPress? Like you have for this forum?
Thanks. :)
I’ve added bbPress but not sure how to set it up properly. I’ve created a forum page and I’ve created forums within the actual forum section in the backend. I’ve added the bbPress widgets within the Forum widget too.
Now I’m not sure how to get the Forum page to show the forums I’ve created. Also the search box button gets chopped off by the template.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Also, does bbPress give you the email notifications as an option like you’ve got on here? I need that too.
Thanks

I don’t understand.. what is a hook???
Great! Sorted! Thanks Yigit! ;)
It’s very basic though. Can you recommend any others? Do you use bbPress for your own forum then?
Thanks Yigit! :)
Okay, in that case I’ll leave it! lol
Thanks for trying though.
Ok yigit. So there is no way to make the breadcrumbs stay as you scroll down?
This is handy, thanks Yigit.
Imagine you’re reading a page and you scroll down to the middle.. well the breadcrumbs disappear and the only indication of what page you’re on is from the line underneath the main menu at the top. This is fine if you only have top level pages, but if you have sub-level pages there is no way of knowing which sub-page you’re on. See what I mean?
This is great, and it’s sorted it but if I’m on the SIAM page or ITSM page it seems as though I’m on the What we do page, according to the indicator line. Is there anyway to keep the breadcrumbs in view?
:)

Hi Rikard,
The site isn’t live yet, can I send you a screen grab?
Or I can let you login?
I don’t want the breadcrumbs appearing on the home page landing page.. that’s all.
Everywhere else is fine.Hi Yigit,
But where do I actually put the code within the functions.php?
It doesn’t work when I do it.Is this code right?
add_filter(‘avia_post_nav_settings’,’avia_same_category_filter’, 10, 1);
function avia_same_category_filter($settings)
{
$settings[‘same_category’] = true;
return $settings;
}Hey Yigit,
Hopefully you guys will add something into the template for stuff like this.
Which functions? The functions-enfold or theme functions?
Thanks, :) x
Ah I see, thanks! I didn’t realise you had to click on the image. Thanks very much! :)
March 25, 2015 at 10:08 pm in reply to: Recommend Function plugin doesn't seem to be working #418181Hi Rikard,
I was told by another guy that using the functions plugin would be fine rather than a child theme (which is not an option for me).
It doesn’t seem to be working though.Hi Elliott,
Yes but how do you set a caption to display? I can’t seem to see an option to do that under the editing options for the full screen sliders?
Am I missing something? Probably am! lol
Hey Yigit! :)
Can I use this code anywhere? I can put it in the footer too?
Thanks :)

February 27, 2015 at 12:52 pm in reply to: Enfold won't install – 'Are you sure you want to do this?' message #403367I have managed to install Enfold. I’m going to be using Theme Test Drive to prepare the enfold theme for my client whilst his current theme still runs. Great way to work on a new theme without any downtime!
Thanks for your help guys.February 27, 2015 at 10:39 am in reply to: Enfold won't install – 'Are you sure you want to do this?' message #403290I’m just trying to upload the theme via filezilla now. Is it right that there are nearly 2000 files????
When I unzip the enfold theme, there are to files that show up when you click on enfold… MACOSX and enfold.. should both be copied over?
Thanks
