Thanks. But what is strange is, that in three other websites it works correctly, but not on this one (same version). That means, it works already, but obviously not in this site?! What could be the reason?

This is not the case of manual translation, as fix parts are in English. On two other sites of us it worked well.

I.On another website the error shows again: German and English are mixed up in the pop-up-window. Same as in the cookie/DSGVO admin menu. Half is in German, half is in English. WP-Settings is set to German. New language files are uploades, version of Enfold is the current one.

thanks for your mail. I can use it, but still you are working with an error on the live system. Try to get a teacher or translator who is professional in translating. Staff with no expertise in language (even in mother tongue) can be wrong concerning language. An if the error is displayed on other German websites for such a widespread theme it is kind of embarassing to make users fix the error instead of a proper translation. Ask other Germans, this is definetly wrong and looks odd. It is like you would use ‘informations’ as a plural form of information in English. Looks odd, doesn’t it?
Try to hear to users who inform you of an error on your theme and try to solve it. ;-)

thanks for your information. But translating this term one to one into German without understanding the grammar is not correct. In German there is hardly any case where you use this term in plural. It is ‘Archiv’. If there are many different libraries in one city, you could call these archives alltogehter (plural). But plural in this place is definetely wrong in German and looks very strange (kind of embarrasing). There are many cases, where translating words and sentences from English to German will lead to such funny results.
Just have a look for example at the biggest online/offline publication in Germany (DER SPIEGEL): http://www.spiegel.de/nachrichtenarchiv/ -> Archiv! By the way, all examples on the page you mentioned are singular: https://www.duden.de/rechtschreibung/Archiv. ;-)
…or take a look at all other publications in Germany.
