It’s working a lot better. I don’t understand why it suddenly would cache even widget changes so that they wouldn’t display immediately.
I was using a “border bottom” call instead of “text decoration underline” because it can be designed better. However, the client is looking at the site and I didn’t want to offer them a broken hover effect.
I’m sure you can add a border to the bottom of the sidebar links using your Inspector and see that the border won’t touch the sidebar border like the current page item’s border does. I’d like them to match. I’d also like the border to not affect the position of the words.
Thanks.
Any of these would be game. Same with under “services” or “about”.
Much better – thank you!
That was a good catch. My API wasn’t running. I’ve done so, but it seems that it didn’t help.
That’s what I meant by “I just changed the setting for the mobile menu on tablets and smartphones”. I’ve already done it and it’s not fixed anything.
I did before I even placed this request.
I just double checked and Chrome, Firefox, and Safari all show the bulleted list instead of what you have. Perhaps a global cache issue on my computer?
Try this one: http://westmichigandivorce.com/woman-serves-divorce-papers-with-facebook/
If that doesn’t work, our security may have flagged your IP.
That didn’t fix them. They’re still arranged with bullet points and look terrible.
It’s a problem in Google Chrome. It works in Safari and Firefox.
Ach – my other site’s slider is also broken. http://greencupdesign.com
Actually the EasySlider is also broken, but at least it has the curtesy to properly hide so the content below bumps to top (so it doesn’t look so weird).
BTW, do you know the “submit” button on these forums doesn’t bring users to a ‘success’ page or reload the thread, but to a blank white page? It’s been happening for a while.
My fullscreen slider broke with the update as well. The caption comes on, but no image behind it. *sigh* Bad for a portfolio website.
January 14, 2015 at 9:28 pm in reply to: Left Sidebar Menu Portfolio item thumbnails missized #379740That’s a ton of work, especially if a user doesn’t understand how to crop / resize images and the best practices that are required therein. They should auto-generate to the correct grid size.
January 12, 2015 at 6:37 pm in reply to: Left Sidebar Menu Portfolio item thumbnails missized #378438At Green Cup Design (go to http://greencupdesign.com/portfolio and select for Graphic Design) I’m replacing small images with images at least 500px sq, if not 2000 px. Still, the thumbnail is cut off. What gives?
January 12, 2015 at 5:58 pm in reply to: Left Sidebar Menu Portfolio item thumbnails missized #378416You shouldn’t have a problem. What’s your IP?
Also, I’m having similar trouble with http://greencupdesign.com/portfolio – I’m replacing small featured images with larger ones, but the thumbnail grid is still off. I tried regenerating. Is there a way to force the thumbnail grid to be a certain size?
January 9, 2015 at 3:17 am in reply to: Left Sidebar Menu Portfolio item thumbnails missized #377180That didn’t work. :/ I set it to 495×400
There is one that is off in the first row at the top (New Orleans), and several down the way in the fifth row.
November 17, 2014 at 6:59 pm in reply to: Stretch / Resize Large Featured Image on Single Post #352616Ah! I regenerated the thumbnails and that did it. WHEW! I’m done. Thanks guys!
November 14, 2014 at 5:56 pm in reply to: Stretch / Resize Large Featured Image on Single Post #351376Better better – so much better!
With regards to filling the thumbnails, do I need to work within the PHP? They look pretty sad right now. The thumbnails on the read more are not defaulting to square, and the thumbnails on the blog overview aren’t filled completely by the featured image…
Thanks again!!!

I just installed a new iteration of Enfold, so nothing should have been changed. What do you suggest I do?
Wonderful! Thank you!
Woah! Dang. Thanks. Topic closed – happy customer.
Ah. Needed to update theme – very sorry.
I am looking for the switch for the subtext for each menu item. I’ve looked everywhere I can think of (documentation, tutorials, menu creator, enfold options, and single page editors). I hate to ask another silly question, but I’m stuck.
Thanks.
I actually haven’t added any plugins except for bbpress as requested by the theme – I can’t do anything on the theme as the buttons don’t work and the side panel isn’t visible.
I downloaded the theme two weeks ago. Has it changed since then?
The parent theme does the same thing. :(
Ok, I updated the permissions to all the top level files and folders in Enfold as well as the child theme (from style.css to includes folder) to no avail. I’ve never had to change permissions to EVERY file in the parent theme, so I’m a little stumped. Thanks!
In fact, the buttons to save on the options page and the advanced editor aren’t showing. Perhaps I just need to change all permissions? Shucks.
Well, that made the header tiny always. I want the header to continue being large when one is at the top of the screen, but the logo popped out then as well.
That is, when the header is full size, the logo is twice as big and pops out of the header 50%. Thus, when the header minimizes, the logo also gets smaller to stay proportionately popped out (50%).
I want the header and logo to be equally responsive to scrolling and device usage. I could easy affect the max-height of the logo, but it would never minimize for smaller devices.
