Hi, I’ve checked on Google chrome and on my iPad and the result is the same. The images don’t load when you click between tabs and then click back. They load when the page loads, but not after changing tabs and then retuning to the original tab.January 4, 2018 at 3:45 pm in reply to: Menu not central and extra space to the right of website #893262January 2, 2018 at 2:49 pm in reply to: Menu not central and extra space to the right of website #892490
I’ve cleared the cache and still get the same problems. My 1st problem is evident in your screenshot: the menu isn’t central. I am still also experiencing my 2nd problem: the whole page can be scrolled to the right to reveal blank space.December 24, 2017 at 1:30 am in reply to: Menu not central and extra space to the right of website #891898
Please see a screenshot in the private content that shows how the site appears on an iPad. I’ve checked on multiple iPads and the results are the same.
It appears that one of the extensions in google chrome conflicts with the theme. I haven’t figured out which one yet but when you run the site in incognito mode the problem is resolved. I have spoken to someone from the google chrome forums and they have confirmed that one of the chrome extensions is causing the issue with the theme.
I have managed to track down the problem. The problem is occurring on pages that have videos on them. The posts that show these diagonal lines are not using the advanced layout editor and have shortcodes for the video like this: [av_video src='' format='16-9' width='16' height='9' custom_class='']
Once I delete this shortcode from any page the problem goes away. I am on Chrome on PC. Is there any way to troubleshoot this?
Hi, please see the screenshot in the original post. You will see that these aren’t actually lines that have been placed in the code, rather it seems as if part of the code is conflicting with google chrome and the browser isn’t rendering the website properly. It happens when ‘hardware acceleration’ is enabled on Chrome, but it only happens on my website.
Thanks for your response Vinay. The diagonal lines don’t seem to be able to be clicked. Did you check my screenshot? It only happens for certain posts and they don’t appear until you scroll down. (Google Chrome)

Thanks, Andy. Unfortunately that code had no effect. Also, what is the reason for this happening? Surely this should work without me having to add to my quick css?
Hi Andy thanks for your response. I’ve deactivated my caching plugin and cleared my browser cache, but unfortunately on mobile view the headings still aren’t visible.
Feel free to have a look, details in private content. Permission granted.
Sorry I don’t understand your response. Just to clarify the issue, please take a look at the image linked in private content. As you can see, on mobile view the testimonials have a larger padding than the text. I want the padding to be consistent. Thank you.
I’m afraid this doesn’t work. This removes the padding entirely. If I try and reintroduce the padding using this code and change 0px to 10px then the testimonials still have more padding than the rest of the text.
What I’d like is to keep the text padding as it is but make the testimonials have the same padding.

Hi Andy, that sounds like the perfect solution! Thank you. Please can you just help me with the formatting of my robot.txt. I’ve added the code to my robot.txt and it now looks like this:
Is this right? Thank you!March 30, 2017 at 1:29 pm in reply to: GWT sent me a message saying my site has too many soft 404 errors! #769453March 29, 2017 at 10:46 pm in reply to: Add the search icon from header into a full width submenu? #769134March 28, 2017 at 7:09 pm in reply to: GWT sent me a message saying my site has too many soft 404 errors! #768388March 26, 2017 at 7:05 pm in reply to: GWT sent me a message saying my site has too many soft 404 errors! #767011
Thanks for your reply. All my crawl erros are searches without any search terms. See private content for an example of a soft 404 error google has flagged. All of the crawl errors are urls that work but with ‘?s=’ at the end.March 26, 2017 at 6:27 pm in reply to: Add the search icon from header into a full width submenu? #767005

Yes I am. If you go to my draft post ‘Tales of an Actor’ and look at the first heading entitled: “Master of the House”–James, East London, you will see that in the editor I have written:
“Master of the House” – James, East London
And if you preview the post then it shows:
“Master of the House”–James, East London
Notice the spaces either side of the hyphen. It does this on most hyphens and also after colons, semi colons and some other punctuation.
