May 18, 2021 at 4:57 pm in reply to: Is there a way to the ddefault header transparency for all new pages and posts #1301042
Could you show me how to use this? I don’t quite understand what I need to do. Thanks!
All sorted! Thank you.
May 11, 2021 at 9:21 am in reply to: Is there a way to the ddefault header transparency for all new pages and posts #1299606Right! Okay I understand how it’s working. This isn’t quite what I want to achieve. All my pages are set to have a glassy header. I am hoping to be able to control the header globally using code so that if I want to change the header transparency in the future I don’t have to change all of my existing pages manually. Is this possible?
Using Yoast I can add a canonical URL to say that https://mywebsite.com/ is my main home page, but there is currently already a canonical link in the code. Where does this come from? I believe this is interfering. I’ve included the canonical link in private content.

May 6, 2021 at 10:39 am in reply to: Is there a way to the ddefault header transparency for all new pages and posts #1298746Hi Yigit, all the details in private content. Thank you! I’ve now removed the code as it was having no effect so you’ll need to add it back. I’ve also linked a page in the private content section below that has the header transparency set to its default option ‘no transparency’. Please check this page once you’ve added the code to check if it works. Hopefully it should have a glassy header! When I add the code myself, the test page is unchanged. Thanks
May 4, 2021 at 12:18 pm in reply to: Is there a way to the ddefault header transparency for all new pages and posts #1298252Hi Yigit, thanks for your response. I added that code but when I create a new page, the header is set to ‘no transparency’ and the glassy header doesn’t show.
When you create a new page the ‘Header Visibility and transparency’ option is automatically set to ‘no transparency’. I’m hoping to make it so that all pages default to ‘transparent and glassy header’ so I don’t have to manually change it every time. Thanks!
May 3, 2021 at 2:06 pm in reply to: Is there a way to the ddefault header transparency for all new pages and posts #1297999Thanks, could you show me how to adapt that code so that the default header on every page/post is transparent & glassy header? The post you showed is for transparent only and I’d like it glassy. Thank you very much

Thanks Nikko that’s fixed it. Could you tell me how this happened? Is this a bug with enfold?
Thanks, link in private content
I’ve tried disabling compression and clearing cache in browser and I’m not using a caching plugin but I’m still seeing the error.

April 3, 2021 at 11:26 am in reply to: 'Do not allow duplicate posts on the entire page' not working #1292079Thanks, are there any drawbacks to using a child theme? Will I be able to update as normal and experience the updates immediately whilst retaining modifications I’ve made to functions.php?

Ah how strange. All the books are there it’s just the fourth one is dropping down on to the next row so that there are 3 columns and empty space where the fourth one should be. It works on my desktop but doesn’t work on my laptop. I’ve tried on different browsers on my laptop and tried clearing my cache but it still shows the error. Screenshot in private content

March 16, 2021 at 4:13 pm in reply to: Color Section background video not working in Safari Mojave 12.1 #1288560Hi Yigit, I no longer have a browserstack plan so can’t double check. But could you check my website on Safari 10.1 using browserstack? I can try 10.1 for free and it’s not working in the same way that isn’t working on my MacBook Safari 12.1. The video loading animation continuously spins and but the video never loads.
On my MacBook i have tried clearing my cache and it still doesn’t work. Please do try 10.1 on browserstack and hopefully you’ll see what I’m seeing. Thank you
March 12, 2021 at 1:49 pm in reply to: Color Section background video not working in Safari Mojave 12.1 #1287679I’ve tested it using browserstack and it doesn’t work. I’ve also tested it using a laptop with Safari 12.1 installed and it doesn’t work, the loading wheel spins indefinitely – I’ve attached a screenshot.
March 11, 2021 at 1:54 pm in reply to: Color Section background video not working in Safari Mojave 12.1 #1287424Hi, ihanks for your help. It does work on Safari 13.1. My issue is that it doesn’t work on Safari 12.1. Could you check it on Safari 12.1?
March 9, 2021 at 7:42 pm in reply to: Background images start off pixellated before loading #1286881On some pages it all looks good. On the page linked in private content I’m still finding that background image of the color section is loading in jagged stages rather than smoothly appearing all at once, which seems in turn to be slowing down the animation of the text.

March 6, 2021 at 9:41 am in reply to: Background images start off pixellated before loading #1286016Sorry the site went down but it’s back up now. Please check again. You’ll see all the animation is choppy and slow. I’m using chrome by the way

February 25, 2021 at 12:09 pm in reply to: Background images start off pixellated before loading #1283634Hi, I tried using the jquery plugin as you suggested but that made no difference, I also tried removing the caching plugin but that didn’t work either.
Perfect thank you
February 23, 2021 at 10:20 am in reply to: Background images start off pixellated before loading #1283004That has helped, thank you, but there is still a bit of an issue. If you check the link in private content (the Apply Now) page you can see that when the page loads the image loads from top to bottom and also the animation heading is a little buggy – the animation isn’t smooth.
February 23, 2021 at 10:16 am in reply to: How to centre the testimonial images on mobiles? #1283003That has centered the text but the whole thing is off center and as the slider cycles through testimonials each title/subtitle is in a different position.
That worked thanks. How can I also center the text beneath the image?
