Kriesi responded back in Mar 10, 2017 that he would talk to Layerslider team, which is why I raised the question hoping that premium features do not require purchase of standalone version. So, I guess the answers I get now is premium features are not included in Enfold theme now. And thus my comment that the bundled version of Layerslider in Enfold is not a full version.
While I understand this is a decision of the Layerslider team, as a business partner (or whatever best described your relationship with them), you guys should have better bargaining power with them.
Perhaps a delay of premium features available to bundled theme version of something like 2-3 months is still a better situation.BTW, love the Enfold theme!
Too bad. So, the bundled version of Layer Slider in Enfold is not a full version then.
HI,
May I know if there is any update on this? I would like to use some features (such as the Play by Scroll feature) that have been marked premium and I see the exact message (in the 1st post of this thread) when I try to use them. I suppose I don’t need to buy standalone license to use them as it comes bundled in Enfold. Thanks.
Kevin
I have exact same warning messages. My site is running PHP version 5.6.30. Does it mean PHP must be updated to version 7.x?
hi Victoria,
I managed to figure out how to do that. Thanks.

March 29, 2017 at 6:20 am in reply to: Please read – Regarding Wordfence LayerSlider warning on Enfold 4.0.3 #768580I am using LayerSlider and need to use it moving forward. Disabling LayerSlider is not a solution. The error messages don’t seem to affect normal functioning of Enfold theme and all its components so far. They may be just another false positive. Perhaps Yigit can clarify on this.
By the way, I have tried manual FTP upload and wordfence rescan does not see the message. But I cannot verify if that solves the problem just yet until another plugin update as the error messages appeared every time a plugin is updated.March 28, 2017 at 11:08 am in reply to: Please read – Regarding Wordfence LayerSlider warning on Enfold 4.0.3 #768031Just updated to 4.0.4 and the same errors in functions.php on line 4783, 4786 and 4789.
March 24, 2017 at 6:07 am in reply to: Please read – Regarding Wordfence LayerSlider warning on Enfold 4.0.3 #765893Wordfence has become a must-have wordpress plugin. Given a recent issue on the false positive in Wordfence after Enfold 4.0.x update and this issue, perhaps a closer relationship between Kriesi and Wordfence should be established and more thorough tests with Wordfence plugin should be done before updated version release. 8-)
Thanks very much for you help. Great support as always! Ticket can be closed.
any update please?
Hi Ismael,
Thanks for the info. I could not reproduce the issue after Yigit fixed it by taking out the iframe and even after I put it back. Anyway, I have installed the plugin. Let’s close the ticket for now. Thanks for all the help. Really appreciate it.
Kevin
Hey Yigit,
I’m aware of that from other tickets as this is quite a common thread. While I understand this can be a workaround, I prefer not to use it because of the following reasons.
1. In my view, the fewer the plugins, the easier to troubleshoot and less chance of encountering problems in a WP site. I would only use a plugin only when it is the only option (without coding).
2. iframe youtube video has been used for quite some time already in Enfold created pages. Only until the recent update that it seems not working. I would (I believe some other friends here too) really like to know the root cause of this. If it is confirmed that iframe with youtube is no longer compatible with WP4.7 and/or Enfold (latest version), then I will not use that anymore and I would have start updating other pages by taking all iframe youtube out.I totally understand where you’re coming from and I really appreciate your suggestion. But root cause I believe is more important to prevent future similar incidents.

HI Yigit,
Thanks a lot for your prompt reply and support!
The reason I use iframe is to prevent showing relevant videos at the end of the video since Video Element cannot do that and I would prefer not to use another plugin for that purpose.
Also, I have been using iframe for Youtube Videos in some other pages without problems. In fact, this is the first time I have ever experienced problems with Enfold, which has been very stable.Wondering if this is to do with WP4.7/Enfold 3.8.x.
Until the root cause is identified, do you recommend preventing to use any iframe in Enfold at all? Thanks again.
Kevin
Hi Ismael, thanks for you reply. So, any recommendations on plugins or ways of making Products Comparison possible using Enfold theme?
