Hi, yes I’ve done that. I have now updated Woocommerce successfully and identified that it’s the Table Rate Shipping plugin that’s causing the problem so I’ve deactivated it. Presumably it’s this line in the error log that’s the issue:
PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class WC_Shipping_Zone in /home/sites/manororganicfarm.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-wc-shipping-zone.php on line 18: /home/sites/manororganicfarm.co.uk/public_html/index.php
I don’t suppose you have any idea what that means/how I can fix it?

I’ve restored the site now. Shall I deactivate all the plugins and then try to update Woocommerce? There are a lot of other Woocommerce plugins in use. Not sure why you couldn’t connect via FTP – you could try the FTP Server IP that I’ve attached below.

Hi, yes I can restore the site from a back-up – the hosting company take an automatic back-up every 24 hours.

I have done as you suggested and changed to PHP Version 7.0 but I’m the same thing has happened. Can you see why this is from the current error log:

Hi – I’ve added the link as suggested above to the phone numbers in the top bar and to the phone numbers in the footer widget but my client says they’re still not ‘click to call’ when she views the site on her IPhone – any other ideas?

Hi – I appreciate that but I just wondered if you have ever seen this problem before and what it would suggest to you – could it be something wrong with the setup/database? One of your colleagues suggested earlier that it could be a caching problem but I don’t really understand why a caching problem would remove all my theme settings?

Hi – sorry, could you explain to me how a caching issue would wipe out theme settings randomly? I have cleared the browser cache using Google Chrome – History – Clear Browsing Data. I can’t give you detailed instructions on how to reproduce the error since as I explained it has happened randomly – sometimes I have been into the Theme settings and it hasn’t happened and sometimes it has.
No I’m afraid the problem isn’t solved – as I explained above, the theme settings keep disappearing and I keep putting them back! The client’s website is live so when it happens I have to change the settings back straightaway which is why you can see the company logo and my information in the copyright. As I said, this happens randomly and I can go into the Theme settings sometimes to make a change and it’s fine and then the next time I go in to change something, save it, and most of the theme settings reset themselves back to the default settings. I would like to know why this might be happening and how I can fix it!

The [nolink] was already in and doesn’t make any difference I’m afraid. It happened again yesterday and various things reverted to the default settings – the sidebar settings, the copyright, the top bar, font styles etc. I can go into the Theme settings and save everything several times and it’s fine and then suddenly I go in again and change something and lose all the settings. Could there be something wrong with the database somewhere – could anybody take a look for me?

Hi, in the end I logged out of my browser, turned the computer off and logged back in. This cleared the problem of not being able to save/create new pages, but there is still something very wrong. For example, on the Home Page, I want to edit the images on the slider, so I change them. Save the page. I then decide to go back in and edit the images in the gallery on that page. Save the page. View the page and it has wiped out the changes that I made to the slider and reverted back to the original images. I also need to edit the footer. Every time I save a change in the Enfold Theme settings, it wipes out other settings or sets it back to default settings.
Please help! I need to get this website finished for my client!

I have managed to resolve issues no) 1 and 5 but still urgently need some help with the other issues – client waiting! Are you able to view the site across all devices so that you can see what I mean about the responsive layout issues with the header and the slider?

1.) That’s not a theme related issue. Do you want a pop-up to appear? or what do you mean with “small window”? Maybe this plugin is for you: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-popup/ – you can currently set a link to another website from an image to open up in a new window away from the main site but I just want it to open the new website in a small window whilst staying on the steedmediasolutions website.
2.) Please update to Enfold 3.0.4. Surely this icon shouldn’t be showing on the desktop? Why do I need to update the Theme? I’m not very sure about updating the Theme as every time I’ve tried to do that on sites in the past, I’ve had a problem with the site afterwards.
3.) Refer to this post: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-remove-scroll-top-button/#post-189218 – already added this to the custom css and the scroll to top button is still visible.
4.) Please search some plugin like this one for example: https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-call-plugin/ – I would just like the phone numbers that appear on the website to be clickable from a mobile – is that not possible using custom CSS?
5.) I don’t think it’s possible. Or do you mean a pop-up window again? No just when somebody clicks on a social icon that it opens the Twitter or Facebook page in a small window (which can obviously be made bigger) whilst staying on the steedmediasolutions website, rather than opening a brand new window on a separate page.
6.) Please elaborate. I don’t know what you mean with “more responsive”. What do you want to achieve exactly? The slider is not responsive on some devices i.e. a Windows phone.
7.) With text do you mean your menu? I think you header is already to full to show your menu on mobile. You can hide it and instead use only the mobile menu: When viewed on an Iphone, Ipad etc., the Logo is overlapping the phone number which shouldn’t be happening – how can I adjust this?
8.) Still don’t know what you mean. Please be specific and update to the newest version, maybe this helps already.When you view the website on a Windows mobile phone it is not responsive. Please help!
Oh! Okay – I didn’t realise that! Thanks that’s great – I’ve done it and it’s worked perfectly. One last thing, could you advise me on the best way to do this/recommend any plugins to use:
My client wants 1) a forum 2) a member area for the website where members can access certain pages to download pdf’s etc. I’ve downloaded and installed bbpress for the forum which looks great and has it’s own login widget but not sure how to set up a members only area/what plugin to use? Presumably that will need a separate log in … ?

Hi – thanks for this – it worked brilliantly and was definitely the best option for me at the moment. Could you just help me with a bit of custom CSS please?
For the sub-menu, I’ve set it to have a dark background with white font colour on hover using the Advanced Styling tab, but I’d like the font colour to remain white at all times i.e. as soon as the drop-down menu appears even if somebody doesn’t hover over the sub-menu link – how can I do that?

Hi – so if I do as you suggest above then that will restore my Enfold Theme settings?
I’ve got two websites in development that have both automatically updated to WordPress 4.0.1 and now a couple of things aren’t working – is it possible I could just upload individual files to each site rather than update the entire Enfold Theme? I could update the whole Theme when I actually upload them to the live site.
The first site is http://www.littlefoxwebdesignbuilds.co.uk/gayseymaisey – the slider on the Home Page has stopped displaying the images.
The second site is http://www.littlefoxwebdesignbuilds.co.uk/steedmedia – the Google Map has disappeared from the last section – Contact.Could you tell me which file from the latest version of Enfold I would need to upload to get these two things working again please?

Hi – I appreciate that the Theme options and configuration are stored in the database and when I migrate the website over, all was fine. The problem I have is when I update the Enfold Theme. As soon as the Enfold Theme updates, all the settings that I had saved – logo, colours, backgrounds etc. are lost. I’m sure that shouldn’t happen – I’m sure it’s something that I’m doing wrong but no idea what! If I’ve migrated the database correctly and looks fine, why should settings be wiped out when I upgrade the Enfold Theme?

Hi – I’ve managed to solve some things but these are the problems that I still can’t work out:
1) The site looks good on Google Chrome but the page sections are too short on Internet Explorer – how can I fix that?
2) On the Ipad, the mobile menu is visible (which isn’t necessary) but not functioning and the logo goes over the menu links. More importantly, none of the menu links are working.
3) On both the mobile phone and the Ipad the home page slider is not responsive.Please could somebody help me out urgently as my client has been waiting today for me to show them the site!
