JanNovember 3, 2023 at 11:21 am in reply to: Gallery issue with “open the images in a new browser/window tab” #1424540Hi,
I’ve installed and used the Regenerate Thumbnails PlugIn für the “Seite08_wospie_2123-scaled.jpg” image (first one on https://wochenspiegel-hannover.de/test/). After click it still comes Seite08_wospie_2123-689×1030.jpg.
I also changed the max. size of large thumbnails to 1500 / 1500 and regenerated the thumbnails again – still Seite08_wospie_2123-689×1030.jpg.
In the upload folder I can see:
Seite08_wospie_2223-1004×1500.jpg
Seite08_wospie_2223-1371×2048.jpgAny idea?
Sorry and thank you for the effort
JanNovember 3, 2023 at 9:14 am in reply to: Gallery issue with “open the images in a new browser/window tab” #1424483Hey Ismael,
thank you. Unfortunately increasing the “large” thumbnail size via settings doesn’t change anything.
I’ve checked the existing thumbnail images in the upload folder (via FTP). The biggest one is “Seite08_wospie_2123-1371×2048.jpg”. Regarding to this size I changed the settings from 1030 / 1030 to 2048 / 2048.
When I refresh https://wochenspiegel-hannover.de/test/ and click the first image, it still opens “Seite08_wospie_2123-689×1030.jpg” in a tab.
What can I do?
Thank you
JanStill the same calculation issue with Enfold 5.4.1 -> 12 seconds instead of 1 second with Enfold 4.7
Hi Nikko, our customer asked us to redirect the nordbikesylt.de to fahrradverleihsylt.de, because fahrradverleihsylt.de ist much faster (with a very old Enfold (4.7)). To give you access to the slow website nordbikesylt.de, we set it up to dev.norbikesylt.de (some missing pictures):
Thank you!

Another Website with the same content but an old Enfold calculates very quick: https://fahrradverleihsylt.de/
Hi Ismael, thank you. Our customer will change all links / popups. Hopefully, we don’t have do change it in the future again.
Best Regards, JanHi Ismael,
we didn’t change the login URL. You will find it in “private”.I’ve integrated the custom code in the functions.php (not a child), but it didn’t work:
This is a sample of the shortcode combination:
[popup_trigger id=”6441″ tag=”span”]
[av_font_icon icon='ue84d' font='entypo-fontello' style='' caption='' link='' linktarget='' size='16px' position='left' color='' av_uid='av-hxbli8'][/av_font_icon]Grundriss KG
[/popup_trigger]Thank you!
JanThank you!
Thanks, Ismael, it works now.
Thank you, Ismael. Works great!
March 29, 2020 at 1:10 pm in reply to: How can I add essential cookies which are accepted on first page load? #1198804Hey Victoria, thank you, but that doesn’t help. I’ve read both threads (and the first one was very very long), but there are no answers to my questions. I don’t need any information about the general settings of Enfold’s cookie consent messages or the modal popup window. I am very familiar with it.
It’s not an issue, how to configure settings or to inform the user. It’s an technical issue: There are two types of cookies. a) The essential cookies, which are loaded on first page load (using »Essential cookies are accepted on first page load, user must opt in«). b) The other ones, which are loaded after the opt-in. Simple question: How can we include cookies, which are loaded after the opt-in, into the group of essential cookies? These cookies should be accepted on first page load before(!) the opt-in. Again: That can’t be done with the existing Cookie Handling and Cookie Consent Messages settings. How can we manage that?
Thank you, Jan
I found a solution how to get a result (nearly) the way we want it. How to cover an image with any original size and aspect ratio to the same big image preview size:
– big image with thumbnail below
– Gallery Big Preview Image Size: No Scaling
– Force same size for all big preview images? YesSet the height you need for your gallery in QuickCSS:
@media only screen and (min-width: 990px) {
#top div .avia-gallery .avia-gallery-big img {
height: 697px !important;
object-fit: cover;
}}
@media only screen and (max-width: 989px) {
#top div .avia-gallery .avia-gallery-big img {
height: 350px !important;
object-fit: cover;

JanJanuary 9, 2020 at 2:10 pm in reply to: Schrift "Oswald" nicht angezeigt wg. Cookie-Hinweis #1171807Thank you! We will upload the fonts in the future.
JanJanuary 7, 2020 at 1:57 pm in reply to: Schrift "Oswald" nicht angezeigt wg. Cookie-Hinweis #1171039Hey Ismael,
I have questions about that:
What’s the difference between »Oswald« and »Open Sans«? The »Open Sans« appears correctly without accepting cookies, but it’s an Enfold font like the »Oswald«.
Is it correct, that all available fonts in Enfold are “embedded” = are integrated in the Enfold files? In that case no connections and data transfers to Google or other web services are necessary, right? That ist what I found here (https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/typography/): “By default enfold comes loaded with many websafe and google fonts, for some reason if you need to use a custom font that suits your design or to comply with GDPR.” So what is the GDPR-Problem with the »Oswald« font or other embedded fonts? Does it really need cookies?
Sorry, that I’m so persistent, but one of the latest court decisions from EuGH (Europäischer Gerichtshof) says, the user has to opt in(!) first before loading any cookies. That’s ok for Google Maps, YouTube etc., where we can display some alternative images in Enfold. But to “smash” the whole look & feel of the website by changing the fonts before accepting cookies, makes the usage of fonts like »Oswald« nearly impossible.
Thank you!
JanWorks great! Thank you.
To add the Off-Topic was brilliant …
Hi Ismael,
we did it. Thank you!
JanHey Mike,
I did it like you described (with the test page), but I got this: “No errors were detected parsing the shortcodes.”What else can I do?
Thank you, Jan
We can close it. Thanks.
Excellent. Thank you, Ismael.

Merry Christmas, JanDecember 20, 2017 at 7:04 am in reply to: No Burger Menu When Using "Sidebar left" for Main Menu #890701Hi,
Now I’ve installed the newest Enfold files via FTP. Unfortunately no changes. Actually, it becomes a bit urgent, because the customer wants to relaunch his website this year. I’ve made a couple of Enfold websites, but this happens for the first time. Any idea?
Thank you, JanDecember 13, 2017 at 4:12 pm in reply to: No Burger Menu When Using "Sidebar left" for Main Menu #888405I’m working on that site currently, but do not hesitate to log in ;)
Thank you!February 4, 2017 at 9:08 am in reply to: limit portfolio navigation to a single category in single item view #742717Thanks, Ismael. It works.
January 27, 2017 at 3:37 pm in reply to: limit portfolio navigation to a single category in single item view #739419I have the same problem: After selecting a portfolio item you can only browser through all portfolio items. It is not limited to the categoriy of the selected item. I’ve tried the script above, but it doesn’t work.
I’ve also found this: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/previousnext-buttons-on-portfolio-items-restrict-to-1-category/#post-177888. The post at the end of this dialogue says: It doesn’t work, but might be fiexed in WP 3.7 or 3.8.
Now we have WP 4.7.2 and it isn’t fixed until now(?). Is there still no possibility, that the user clicks a portfolio item e.g. “Websites” and than he or she only can browse through all “Website” portfolio items?
Thank you, Jan
Hi Elliot!
I was able to fix it! The write and read rights of http://www.provisage.eu/wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia/enfold.css weren’t set to 777. I don’t know why, but after changing it to 777 everything works fine. Thank you for your hint with the 403!
Regards,
JanHi Elliot!
Thanks for your reply. I did the steps as you described, but unfortunately it doesn’t work. Can I set the correct link to the enfold.css manually?
Thanks
