The code does work, but the problem is that when you paste it the “>” symbols get messed up, try manually rewriting that part in the Quick CSS:

I’ve tested this code on my sandbox installations and it does work. I’d suggest trying the following:
– Increase the memory allocated to PHP: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
– Disable all third-party plugin and see if the LS comes up.Regards,

If you don’t want them to be linked as lightbox simply put the link a rel or a class of noLightbox:

Well, that’s weird. I believe the error you were getting was because of the quotes, make sure to simplify them before saving.
