November 16, 2015 at 6:48 pm in reply to: Scroll to top not is visible in mobile/tablet view – Socket not complete #536801Hi Yigit,
My footer socket does not show up on mobile, nor does the scroll to top button. I found this thread but the code does not work for me. Running Enfold 3.4.2.
Cheers!

I couldn’t wait any longer and had to launch my friend’s site, so I removed it and did a work-around.

The site is definitely up. I can access it on all browsers. However the header only displays properly in Safari, and not the other browsers mentioned. And yes, I am using the current version of Enfold.
Cheers!

November 12, 2015 at 6:29 pm in reply to: Header Not Displaying Background Image in Chrome or Firefox #534973Hi Andy,
Access in private area.
So, just be reiterate, the header bg image looks fine on Safari, but does not show up on Chrome or Firefox.
Thanks!
JordanNovember 12, 2015 at 12:36 am in reply to: Hide Color Section Background Image On Mobile Phones #534508Hi Rikard,
Sorry for the late response. I tried that and it made the whole section disappear. I just want the image to not display on mobile and have the rest of the content show up.
Cheers,
JordanThat worked well for that page, but now I have a different problem. I’d like the BG image to be the entire page:
http://juliewittner.com/reels-02/
but resize with the browser window so the right column does not hover over the image and block the face. Also, the header cuts off the top of the COLOR SECTION background image. Is there a way to move the color section bg image down so the full image is under the header?
Thanks so much.

November 6, 2015 at 12:54 am in reply to: Hide Color Section Background Image On Mobile Phones #531291Thanks, Rikard. I gave it a unique ID of bg-credits. Or am I supposed to use #bg-credits in the ID section?
Can you give me the CSS? I’m building it on my local machine, so there is no access.
Thanks so much,

I’ve shared a dropbox link to screenshots in the private section. You’ll see the transparent header, then the same page is scrolled down and the header is white. I’d like it to remain transparent. And if it’s possible to do this ONLY on the homepage, that would be great. The other pages I’d like normal theme operation. Thanks so much!
Cheers!
JI’d love to supply screenshots, but there’s no option here to attach them. How do I do that?
Cheers!
JordanI am building it locally. It’s not online yet.
October 14, 2015 at 9:11 pm in reply to: Content in COLOR BACKGROUND module not displaying correctly #518927Thanks for getting back to me. I figured a workaround. Rather than add code to move the whole content area, I just applied some bottom padding to the column so it moved upward.
October 13, 2015 at 10:21 pm in reply to: Create or Use New/Different Social Icons in Header #518418Thanks, but would you mind showing me a line of code as an example? I’m not really a coder, and I only sort of understand what you’re saying.
Thanks so much :)

October 13, 2015 at 9:32 pm in reply to: Content in COLOR BACKGROUND module not displaying correctly #518404Ok, so I added the code, and now the content of the COLOR BACKGROUND module appears below the transparent header, where it used to be flush with the top of the browser window (which I desired). So instead of only moving the right column up, it moved it up and then moved everything below the head. How do I fix that?
The video is self-hosted, but not in the WordPress Media Location. It was too big to upload to WordPress, so it lives in the root folder.
This is the path to the video: http://www.juliewittner.com/Julie_Wittner_SpeedReel.mov
The video plays if you type it directly into the URL window, but not in any of the video modules. In fact, if I just use the single video module, it only displays the URL, not the actual video player.
It will play if hosted on Vimeo, however. I guess I’ll just do that for the video.
But please help me fix the issue with the content below the header.
Thanks :)

Thanks, but this is not what I want.
I want to add my own icons, not Fontello, or any other font-based icon. I want to use icons that I created. Any way to add icon images to the top nav?
Cheer!
JordanI was just about to ask this same question. I tried what you suggested— using the COLOR BACKGROUND— and I am running a video with a countdown timer. It looks great!
HOWEVER… the sound will not play in the video. Suggestions?

It totally works! Thanks so much! You guys always have the best support! Cheers!
Thanks so much! I’ll give it a try!
PROBLEM:
I’ve read multiple threads on how to add text and icons to the header in addition to the logo, but they either don’t do what I need, or the code breaks my site.I want it to look exactly like this jpeg. (link –>): HEADER EXAMPLE
Logo, then on the right, two lines of text and custom social icons instead of the font version used by the theme default.
Maybe even have the Nav on the right side?
Please keep in mind, I’m a novice. If you can explain exactly how to do it as if I were an idiot, that would be great :)
Thanks,

Thanks so much! @Cryscryb’s solution worked perfectly.
Thanks so much. I tried it and although the text appeared, I could not style it using quick css. I even tried using the .logo-text in the custom.css and base.css files, and it still wouldn’t style the text.
Any suggestions?

November 15, 2013 at 8:23 pm in reply to: adding social icons like the Kriesi site with a small non-fixed header #189403Hey Devin,
Thanks so much for your response. I am aware of the icon font manager, however, I apologize for not being clear. I would like to use an actual custom image/logo, not a fontello font or other type of icon font. Is there a way to replace the icon font in the nag with just an actual .jpg or .png file? And will I be able to have them display properly on mobile devices?
To that question of mobile display, I saw in the custom css file the examples you refer to, but I’m not sure what I need to do. Do I need to write css for mobile viewing myself? If so, can you direct me to where I can find code snippets, as I am entirely not proficient in writing my own code. I’m great at copying and pasting, however ;)
Thanks so much,
JordanNovember 14, 2013 at 7:38 pm in reply to: adding social icons like the Kriesi site with a small non-fixed header #188521Hi there,
First, I LOVE the Enfold Theme for my photography site! Thank you for creating it! It’s absolutely amazing.
I’ve got 2 questions regarding social media icons in the top nav:
1. How do I replace the icons with my own custom icons?
2. When viewing the site on a mobile device like an iPhone or Android, the social media icons overlap the nav links. How do I fix the formatting so it doesn’t look jumbled on the handheld device? I have limited coding ability, but I can figure stuff out.http://www.KillerPhotography.com
Thanks,
