I’m not 100% sure if the design is dependent on WC, but what I can recommend is that you set up a local/staging install and do the WC deactivation on there first. If everything operates fine locally, then simply duplicate it on the live site.

They share the same class so the same css should apply, the tag line appears to be much longer than the logo however so on smaller screens there will still be over lap unless you reduce the font-size on the tag line.
