If you remove or comment out all of your custom css does the option functionality return? If so, you could have some errors is your custom css formatting.

I am no longer seeing it. If you put it in quick css, or the child theme css file it will be safe from updates. If it was not working in quick css perhaps you have some formatting errors in the css that’s already there? Please try adding Victoria’s css to the very top of your quick css.

Apologies, I misunderstood the exact need.
If you want to have a letter or roman numeral you just have to add some CSS to your tag
Upper Case Alphabet Example:

Unfortunately we can’t guarantee full compatibility with all plugins, though we try are best to make sure it is. You would simply have to try and test it. We do not have any out of the box feature or plugin for a timeline.
