Try adding the following to quick css instead. I tried it in the browser and it worked:
```
.image-overlay {
display: none !important;
opacity: 0 !important;
}
```

Hey projectt_co_uk,

Unfortunately this is an issue that is still being addressed without a concrete solution as yet.

Try the hosting company and see if they can stop the spam attacks.
You can also try using a plugin such as this one – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-spamshield/

There is no rule of thumb and that actually may be better seeing as getting GIFs to read on WP in general are usually through hack solutions.
