JordanHi,
Please try adding this code to the Quick CSS section under Enfold > General Styling or to your child themes style.css file:
#top #header.header_color.av_header_transparency .av-main-nav > li > a .avia-menu-text { color: #000000 !important; }

A plugin conflict may be one of the reason for this issue.
To find which plugin is causing the conflict please follow these steps:1. Go to your plugins page > Deactivate all active Plugins
2. Update WordPress and Enfold to latest version if you have not.
3. Make sure all the plugins are updated.
4. If the problem does not persist when plugins are turned off, activate one plugin at a time and refresh until you find the plugin in conflict. We await the results of your plugin compatibility test.
Thanks for your cooperation :)
Best regards,

JordanSeptember 6, 2016 at 12:10 am in reply to: change properties of main menu (position, height, mouse hover) #682384Hey Robby,
Sorry for the delayed response.
The best way to assist you is to would be to provide a link to your site in the private data section. You want to have a different menu style for each page and this will require CSS tweaks and that you know the page id of each page you wish to style.
So send the link and I’ll show you an example of how to change what you want.

JordanHey jsdevore,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Please try going to Appearance -> Menu and then select the main menu to edit. Look for the Home menu item and try changing it to the Home v3 page you want, or add the page to the menu.
If that does not help, please provide login details to your site so that we may have a closer look.

Thanks for reaching out to us!
Looks like the enfold folder already exists on your site. Can you login to your site via FTP? If so, delte the “enfold” folder at the file path here /srv/www/vhosts/eslleysin.ch/httpdocs/wp-content/themes/enfold/ and try reinstalling the theme.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

Alternatively demo data can be imported using XML file from Admin > Tools > Import > WordPress
Make sure to check the option “Download and import file attachments” while importing. Please note this will not import the theme settings you may need to set them up and upload if any images are missing from backend once the XML file is imported.

JordanHi,
Thanks for getting back to me!
In the WordPress file wp-config.php, you may find the line: define(‘DB_CHARSET’, ‘utf8’). It needs to be define(‘DB_CHARSET’, ‘utf8_general_ci’). That may have been what caused the characters to appear in the first place.
You can still go through and delete the strange characters using the editor.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

You may want to consider switching to the mobile menu sooner or at a higher resolution. Please refer to this post – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/menu-overlaps-logo-on-tablets/ and if that does not help, please see – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/switching-to-mobile-menu-on-higher-resolutions/
