Hi Ismael,
Please find the screenshot of the script in the enfold child – functions.php in the link below.
Best,
Joe
Hi Ismael,
Yes that’s exactly what I’ve done, except I’ve used the ID “resources-blog” for both the function and the color section. However, this still doesn’t have the desired effect of getting the blog color section to display on top when the pagination button is clicked. Please find the information about the specific webpage, blog section, and temp login in the private section below.
Also, as per my previous posts, how can I remove the preview images and category text from only this gallery section portion of the blog posts?
Thanks,
Joe
August 3, 2021 at 6:28 pm in reply to: Hide specific blog post categories from specific blog index pages #1314209Hi Ismael,
Thanks for the information! I’ve looked through the references you sent, but I am still having some trouble understanding where and how to implement these. Do these go into the Quick CSS or enfold Child themes folders and how is the code formatted?
If possible, would you be able to add the code directly? I’ve included the login and pages / posts I was referring to in the private content section below.
Best,
Joe
I found this old support posting (https://kriesi.at/support/topic/anchor-blog-pagination-to-same-page-location/) and added to my child theme functions.php but it doesn’t seem to be working for me. I tried changing the # to match with the developer id in the color section but no luck for some reason.
Another related question, is it possible to hide the categories text underneath the post title on just the one page that I linked in the post above?
Thanks again,
Joe

Hi Mike,
Thanks again for the help, the changes seem to be working well! I’ve decided that I want to style the blog post “category” pages in css instead of applying a layout template directly to them. I’ve been trying to modify the date, excerpt and author text underneath the blog title, but I cant seem to get the right css selectors in this case either. I’ve tried inserting the following code into the quick css to target the date text, but doesn’t seem like its working.
.html_elegant-blog #top.archive.category .post-entry .blog-categories.slide-meta { left: 20px !important; }
I was also hoping to hide the “author text” as well as the “excerpt text” if possible.
Best,
Joe
Hello,
I’m also looking at the blog post “category” pages like the one linked below. Is there a way for me to style the text / labels on these and set the size of the thumbnail image?
Thanks again,
Joe
Also, one other thing but the text “excerpt” still isn’t showing up below the blog posts.
Thanks for the information Mike, this worked great!
One other question about the blog post sub text – can you tell me the CSS selector for the “read more >” linked text below each of the blog posts? Im trying to tighten the spacing of the text there.
Best,
Joe
Hi Rikard,
The url changed after I renamed the page. Please see the updated link below to the blog page. In neither the Enfold>Blog Layout nor the blog page layout builder is there somewhere I can select the option to display either the date or the comments or the category. I’ve tried modifying both and I can’t display anything beside the title and read more button.
Please let me know if theres anything I can do.
Best,
Joe
Hello,
I tried using the advanced layout editor to modify the blog layout in the page with the grid layout. However, I don’t see any options in the “define blog grid layout” to add the date, categories, or comments – only selections are title, excerpt, and read more link (except there are not excerpts displayed even when this is chosen).
The link to the default blog below shows a webpage that has the grid layout with the blog post Title, category, excerpt, comment and date there. Why am I not able to select this either in the enfold theme options > blog layout or the page specific advanced layout builder with the blog post?
Please let me know,
Joe
Works perfect now thanks so much!
Hi Yigit,
Thanks for your reply! For some reason, after i ad your code to the Quick CSS, my font and styling for all my desktop web pages get overwritten with the defaults (please see photos in the link below). Is there something I can change to the code you provided that will not interfere with this?

Joe
June 24, 2021 at 12:11 am in reply to: Color section background image mobile resizing error #1307215Hi Ismael,
I’ve tried all of your suggestions above (toggling file compression, incognito mode) but it is still displaying the same cropped, offset image for me. I also looked on another iPhone and it shows up the same. Also I flushed the cache again and looked on both safari and chrome.
Anything else i might be missing?
Thanks,
Joe
June 21, 2021 at 11:39 pm in reply to: Color section background image mobile resizing error #1306830Hi Ismael,
Thanks for your reply! I’ve added the css code to the Quick CSS and flushed my cache but the pages still appear the same on my iphone.
Is there anything else i can look into or try?
Best,
Joe
Hi Ismael,
Thanks for getting back to me!
The image in the screenshot you sent looks good, however on my iPhone 12, looking in both safari and chrome, the image is still offset to the center bottom instead of the center center, which causes awkward cropping of the images on the webpage. Please refer to the images linked below.

Hi Nikko,
Thanks for the information and sorry for the belated reply. It looks like the code you suggested above works for the menu to stick at the top of the page. However, I’m now noticing that there is a duplicate menu button at the bottom of the two pages (linked below) when viewed on mobile. These aren’t clickable and do not expand, so I was wondering how to hide this menu? It should be linked to either the footer or socket menus since those are disabled for these two pages.
Thanks again,
Joe
Hi Ismael,
Thanks for the information. I made the changes to the CSS, cleared the cache and toggled the file compression but the content slider is still giving me issues. Is there something else I can try?

Hi Nikko,
I extended the admin access and have included the FTP details below. Let me know if this works

Hi Nikko,
I renewed general access to the site in the link below. I haven’t been using any FTP plugins for the wordpress site, do I need to set that up for you to test out?
Thanks,
Joe
Hi Nikko,
I followed your instructions and disabled the Javascript file merging and compression and cleared my mobile browsing cache, and tried on a few other mobile devices as well. For some reason the mobile menu is still not sticking to the top. I don’t think I have any caching plugins activated, but I’m also not completely sure if some of the plugins I do have are performing some sort of caching – please advise.
Thanks again,
Joe
Thanks Nikko looks like that worked well! I tried following the suggestions in the thread you forwarded and disabled the line of code in enfold\config-templatebuilder\avia-shortcodes\menu\menu.js that Ismael was referring to. However it looks like the menu still isn’t sticking on the pages below. Is there something else that I missed?
Thanks,
Joe
Hi Ismael,
Thanks for the information. I added the “content-slider-column” class name to the Custom CSS class of the columns containing the content slider and put the following into my quick css:
.content-slider-column {
height: 400px !important;
}It doesn’t seem to be fixing the CLS issue with the content slider element. Is there something I missed or a different approach that I can try out?
Thanks!
Joe
Thanks Nikko!
I must have added the code in quick CSS and forgot about it.
On a related question, I noticed that there is still a black header in the mobile versions of the pages linked below, where I have hidden the main menu. I tried implementing the code from the thread here but the blank black bar still shows up. Is there a way just to disable the black bar on the mobile for just these pages, and not the main menus of all? Additionally, there are some sticky menus on those same pages that work on desktop but that I can only scroll past on mobile. Can I get these to stick to the top of the page when scrolling?
Best,
Joe
Hi Rikard,
Thanks for getting back to me! I updated the theme to the latest version (4.8.2) but still having the issues with the shifts in the content slider.
Is there something else that we can check?
Best,
Joe
Hi Nikko,
Thanks for getting back to me! Apologies for the delay, I just created and submitted the temporary account. Let me know if you have any problems with logging in, since I’ve also been having some trouble logging into my wordpress account recently.
Even though I’ve checked to make sure that the username and passwords are correct (and created a new account with new login credentials) I am still unable to log in with the wordpress admin page for some reason. I tried disabling the security plugin that I downloaded recently to see if that was causing the issue, but I’m still having issues with the login and have had to go through my godaddy login instead. Any help with the login issues too would be much appreciated.
Best,
Joe
