Hi Ismael,
I think it is easier I just solve it with Yoast from now on. I can override with that I assume. Thank you for your help.
You can close this topic.
Thanks!
Jas
Hi Yigit,
1. I had to add !important to get that to work. Thank you
2. I’d like to turn off the grey color on hover. I want that white as well. So all menu links white, all the time.
Is there a better CSS than above to accomplish this. Totally white all the time?
I deleted some Advanced Styling rules to minimize variables as they were not working.
Thank you,
Jas
PS Yes I never copy the CSS from the email. I know this creates a problem.

Perfect! Thank you. Resolved!
Hi Vinay,
No, before scroll, the problem is still there. The menu font is light grey not #FFFFFF white. Only the selected menu link is white. I want to make all the menu links white. Do you know where that setting is?
Thanks,
Jas

So this did not come with the theme? I don’t understand. What color would I use for the overlay?
You’ll have to explain slowly :) I am asking how that transparent border was added. How would I achieve, what appears to be a transparent border, by adding a color overlay?
If it is included in the enfold demo it must be possible without quick CSS right?
ThanksThank you for your help Vinay! Solved!
Much appreciation,
Jas
Thank you so much, but I’m trying to figure out what the problem is. I’m not trying to band-aid the problem, I’m trying to solve the problem and find out why this site is behaving differently from my other Enfold sites. The reason is, I want to use this for a template for other coming soon pages and I don’t want to add code to the Child Theme functions file every time. I really appreciate you help. Do you have any idea what is causing this?
Thanks guys,
Jas

Can you tell me exactly what I should delete please before I reinstall? See screenshot below.
Thank you,
Jasmer
Perfect. Last question. On menu hover I’d like to make the links turn white not off-white or light grey. Do you know where that setting is?
When I scroll and the menu shrinks, menu hover is white. That’s fine. Before menu shrinks, hover state, in menu links, is not white.
I’m sure it is a setting I’m missing somewhere.
Thank you

Thank you. Ok there are a few quick problems. I followed your directions and…
1. I want the font to stay white in the logo area before I scroll. (I need this)
2. I want the font to be gray in the logo area after I scroll (done)
3. I want the font to be white when I hover, after I scroll (done)
4. I want the selected menu link to stay white when a menu item is selected after I scroll (I need this)I would like to know if there a way to do 1 and 4 in the settings or do I need quick css? The reason I want to know is because I may need to do this on more than one site.

Hi Yigit,
Again, I don’t want the “Logo Area background color” to be solid black. I’d like to have around a 10% opacity. How do I set the opacity. I assume I will need some CSS.
Also, there is now a white border around the black “Logo Area background color”. How do I get rid of that white border?
Thanks,
Jas

Thank you, this does half of it. Can you tell me how to make the title bar black upon scroll? Right now it is white. I’d like it to be black however to have a slight opacity. 10% maybe. See below. Thank you..

Forgot one item. I am using a Child Theme. Does this create any additional steps I should be aware of?
Thanks,
JasHi Andy,
I did not edit the theme files. There may be a corruption. I agree. Or a bug of some kind that I triggered with a combination of settings in the dashboard. If I delete and re download, is there a way to preserve all the work I’ve done? Like 100% of it? Then reapply?
Thank you, Jas
I’m going to number these issues for clarity.
1. Issue 1 – disappearing social icons
– I deleted ALL quick CSS
– I disabled the cache at the web host.
– I then used a browser on a computer that has never been to the website. The icon problem remains even with ALL quick CSS deleted.2. Issue 2 – social icons not centered in header
– I deleted ALL quick CSS
– The icons are not centered and the hover highlight is odd. See these 3 screenshots.

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1049926/Screen%20Shot%202016-01-13%20at%2012.01.25%20AM.png3. At this time there is NO quick CSS on my site. I have removed it temporarily.
Now that we know that quick CSS is not the issue, and we can see several problems on this site, let’s find out what the problem is. It is important because I will be using this as a template for all my “coming soon” placeholders. This is not a plugin issue as you can see. There must be a bug in the theme somewhere. Can we pull in Kriesi on this please?
See private content below.
Urgent and thank you,
Jas
4. There is also this problem on the same site

I am intimately familiar with Yoast. I just try to avoid overriding with a third party plugin something that should be basic functionality.
I don’t really see how to change it under Appearance–>Customize. Can you give specific directions for that? That should do it.
Thanks Rikard
Thank you…
Also can you answer this question (my last post) while you are taking a look? Maybe they are related..
Thank you. I will try that later today. Can you tell me why I would need quick CSS to make an element visible that should have never disappeared?
See below…
Kind of urgent. Thank you
I’ve included the link below. Actually it appears as though the top bar is black but I would like quick CSS to change the opacity of both bars as described above.
Thanks Vinay!
Jas
I have not installed Yoast on this site, but I do use it. However, this should not require a 3rd party plugin to title a page correctly. Can you explain to me why I cannot correctly title this page?
Hi Digit,
The setting you mentioned is only for the header font color before scroll. How do I change the header font color after scroll. See image in above post. Would that be the hovered link color? Thank you.
Jas
Problem solved
I fixed it. Since there is only one section on this site, I went to the color section and created a tag “custom section” in the developer ID field. Then I added the code below and experimented with the numbers.
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { #custom-section .av-parallax.avia-full-stretch.active-parallax { background-position: 60% 10% !important; }} /*move background photo left*/
Thanks. Problem solved.
This reply has been marked as private.Appearance > Menus and created a custom link with this examplewebsite.com/#contact
Thank you Josue!
Hi Rikard,
If I do that, then the photo will not be the entire background of the entire page. I want to keep it just the way it looks. Any ideas?
Also there is another post that hasn’t been answered for awhile I think. Can u take a look at it?
Best
That worked for both sites! Thank you Rikard!
