Thanks Vinay — so, the Layer Slider is the basis for any sliders that I use within the Enfold theme “media options”?
When is the next Enfold update coming?

Basically, I would just like to have the Enfold theme updated and the Layer Slider plugin update removed. I’d like to go back to where we all were before this update issue became a problem.

Yes, I know there was another LS update. And yes, thank you for the work arounds that “should be able to” fix it.
My question is still — is there an Enfold update in process that will actually address this issue? If so, what is the ETA?
Are there plans to have LS be a separate plugin that is not embedded in the theme? I do use some of the Enfold sliders on my pages, and I do not want to disable LS because I am not certain that doing this may mess further with my sites.

Updated from 4.0.3 and it worked like a charm — that plugin update notice for layer slider went away as well!

I am waiting to do a couple of new installs but I am waiting for your next update so I don’t need to deal with the layer slider and other error issues that are currently happening. Can you give us an update ASAP!

Sounds like if we have not yet updated to 4.0.4 yet, we should wait? From all the posts it seems to not be stable?

Was over at the Woocommerce group @ WordPress.org and they helped me out – it was a setting in Woo/totally overlooked it.
Still have a few outstanding issues though — can you check the other help questions I posted to see if you have some direction for me? Much appreciated!

Reviewed the page again with “new eyes”. This change happened when I assigned the “Store” as the Shop Page in Woo. When you have a certain page designated, Woo’s defaults take over, including disengaging the Advanced Layout in Enfold. So, I just deselected the “Store” as the Shop page, and re-selected Advanced Layout via Enfold, and I’m back in business with only one slider at the bottom of the page. Will do a live “purchase” test in a moment to see if anything fails because I have not selected a “Shop Page” option in Woo (Settings/Products/Display). Will post back with any issues. Thank you! Would it be okay to wait for your update instead of updating the .php? I can deal with WF warnings. Just don’t want harm done to any of the sites. (aka “time management”) :-)

Hi Basilis — What plugin? SiteLock is a service — an external “malware protector”. Is this what you are referring to?
Updated Enfold to 3.5.3 — flushed and refreshed. Did not work.
Then followed instructions per joshuatolento post. Had to add code to the functions.php file — it worked! Perhaps more adjustments need to be made to the theme files?

The site I posted about on 4/17/2016 is still not working properly. Images in slider, gallery and testimonials are not working — basically all images that have “movement” — except for two pages that are monitored by my commerce partner. Please advise ASAP!

Hi,
One of my sites recovered from this anomaly. However, another one is now going through same failures — slider images not loading and other interactive aspects not working (images that pop up on testimonial page, gallery pop ups at the bottom of first page.) All my settings are current. I did note to Josue that the original site I posted this issue about did “recover” within 2 days of my reporting it. That site is under construction. The site I am now reporting is live.
Please advise urgently.
