I did that and we’re still having the same problem. The slider below it has exactly the same settings, the only different is that the slides are html text with a red background.
Didn’t work. I’ve been on the phone with the hosting service provider for a while now! Regardless of the image size (super small vs. super large) I am not able to upload any image.
Without being able to reproduce the error – any suggestions to remedy this? I feel like I’ve tried everything.
This reply has been marked as private.Any movement on this? I have to launch soon and still having to deactivate the theme every time I want to upload an image.
Yes, it only says “HTTP Error”
I’m getting the same error on another site now – everything is exactly the same as ma.thepointcollective.com (theme, wordpress install, server). 1/10 uploads over 1000px wide work. 9/10 give me an http error. The other site causing an error is http://www.doordye.com/preview. The only time it works consistently is when I deactivate Enfold.
Chrome 37.0.2062.120, Mac OS 10.9.4 – though I tried many computers.
I’m noticing it’s uploading very small images just fine, but anything over 1000px wide (still a very small file size of 58KB optimized for web) is not working. Still.
Thanks for the help!
Let me know if you need anything else.
This reply has been marked as private.Any luck with this? I’ve seen others are having the same issue. I’ve de-activated all plugins and it still doesn’t work when Enfold is active. I have a deadline coming up and have to get this ironed out. Help?!
Awesome! Worked like a charm. Thank you so much!
Awesome – the logo disappears, but now there is a pretty large empty space where the logo should be (75px). Can I remove that empty space so the menu is closer to the top of the page?
I did that – did not help.
Hi there!
Thanks for the quick response. A few issues still:
1) That worked, but, I want the product pages to have a sidebar, and NOT the single blog posts. When I enable this, BOTH the product pages and the single blog posts get a sidebar. Is there a way around this?
2) That worked – but seems like a work around. In some cases, we might want to show reviews and not additional information AND in some case we might want to show additional information, but not for every product. I know this is appearing because we’ve added data somewhere, right? Where did we add this information to then have it appear on the product page. If I remove the information, won’t it disappear. It’s not in the visual or text editor. And I believe all my WooCommerce settings are correct so that it shouldn’t appear… yet still…
3) So we can’t use “custom image size” and set the preview image size manually – that doesn’t seem to be working where I’ve built my blog page using the advanced editor.
Hi again,
I just triple checked and we are NOW using 2.7.1 though for some reason earlier the update didn’t take. Now we have a new problem:
http://siliconvalleyt.staging.wpengine.com/ (hosted on WPengine)
Looks like the header is throwing an error. Are you able to help us trouble shoot this?
Hi again,
We have not updated the theme on the live site, but we did in a staging environment. To be clear, in our test location we are using Enfold 2.7.1 with all plugins deactivated. I can reproduce this error on multiple machines (Windows and Mac OS) so I can’t point to hardware, though it’s intermittent. If I reload the page, it sometimes corrects itself.
Staging: siliconvalleyt.staging.wpengine.com
What else can I try?
Thanks again,
Jaime
Hi there,
We deactivated all active plugins and updated the theme in a staging environments. There is still a glitch. With one page load, and three times scrolling the page from top to bottom – the footer appears different each of the three times. See video:

Thanks,

Thanks guys! Devin, that’s that I’ll do. Really appreciate you help.
Thanks – that worked great for the category archives but not for the “blog” archive (all posts). Something we can add to make that go away (BUT REMAIN ON THE HOME PAGE).
Awesome – Thank you so much!!!
Can you also show me how to hide the navigation on the blog archive and category archive pages. We need it visible only on the homepage.
Thanks again!
