What if I want to keep the shrinking header, but have the logo shrink in size rather than remain at 58px?
Hi again,
This is pretty far over my head. Is the report indicating vulnerabilities with the hosting and/or database? These are all hosted with GoDaddy.

Hi Rikard,
The client has been seeing the issue in Samsung Internet for Android. I believe that night mode is a setting on the phone, not in the browser.
Thanks!Hi Rikard,
I’ve attached a link to a screenshot of the issue. Unfortunately we’ve had a difficult time reproducing the problem as all of our team members have iPhones rather than Android phones. If you’re able to access an Android phone, turning on night mode should reproduce it.
Thanks!Thanks! Worked.
Hi Victoria,
It doesn’t look like my Enfold Child theme had its own header.php file. I did try uploading a copy of the header.php from Enfold 4.7.4 on a staging copy of my site, but still am not seeing any changes. What should I try next?- This reply was modified 4 years, 6 months ago by jaimemerz.
Outstanding — where should I put this code?
Looks like the trace route is irrelevant because two people on exactly the same internet experience the site differently — one with the issue and one without.
Could a machines graphics card be the issue?
We have done absolutely everything we can possibly think of to remedy this and the client is still seeing the issue – though we are not. It seems to be intermittent on his side. We have a spreadsheet that tracks the behavior of several different people on several different browsers and with different ISPs. There is no common denominator. We’ve disabled the CDN, enabled the CDN, disabled the caching plugin, enabled the caching plugin… we’re up against a wall. Here’s the traceroute:

Unfortunately the issue persists. Do you see the overlapping of images in the screen shot I sent?
This reply has been marked as private.Hi again,
We are only using masonry galleries throughout the site. So if I’m reading correctly, the code alone should deliver smaller images and speed up the site. Unfortunately, it’s not. I’m still seeing intrinsic sizes of 470×704 and the gallery itself displaying at half the size.
Maybe the code isn’t working?
Jaime
Hi Nikko,
Thanks so much for your help with this. Do I need to change the size of the thumbnails in the media settings before I regenerate or will the code you’ve provided be sufficient?
Jaime
Hi there,
Tried this, but am still getting a slow load and poor grades. I’m still seeing large images, too. See attached.
Any other ideas?

December 4, 2019 at 10:50 pm in reply to: Set Scroll Speed for two separate elements on a page #1162747If it helps, here is an example: http://demos.sanwebcorner.com/scroll-different-time-using-jquery/. In this example, I’d like the photo of the man to scroll similar to the orange HTML box and the text next to him to scroll similar to the magenta CSS box.
We’re on a Mac, Chrome and it’s not showing the error.
Jaime
Ah that is correct! We’re not seeing the same in Chrome. What browser are you in?
Hi Victoria,
Scan for widgets is already enabled and still we’re not able to see the social media icons in the footer. If we disable this, then the MailChimp optin doesn’t work. Were you able to login to the backend?
Jaime
Yes, see below!

Can you try leaving the browser open for 2 min and see if the error pops up for you?
I was able to recreate the error—see the first two screenshots. I’ve only ever seen it after leaving the homepage open for a few minutes. The third screenshot is from Safari’s browser console.

Thanks! I look forward to learning more about what you find out. We’ve had two people experience the issue now. Both on the latest version of Safari. Seems to happen after the rotator has completed one full rotation.
See: Using more current version of Safari on Mac.
Hi there!

Hi there,
We moved from GoDaddy to SiteGround yesterday and are no longer encountering the error.
Jaime
I’m hoping I have something to share with the client today. I don’t mean to rush you, but wondering if you’re currently reviewing this?
Any luck?
