Hi Rikard,
I’ve tried that and many variations of it: changing logo image etc. Unfortunately it doesn’t work. As soon as the nav bar is 100% (ie not shrunk), the logo disappears…It’s as if there’s a CSS telling it to hide it, because i can open the image in a new tab.
What else can I try?
Cheers,
i
to update:
1-the logo appears when I scroll down the page and the menu becomes a smaller header…strange
2-the product thumbnails have since reappeared gradually. I guess because the rebuilding of the thumbnails took some time. But I still don’t know why we don’t have a logo on the nav bar?
Cheers,
i
August 29, 2019 at 3:41 pm in reply to: Main menu focus changes when scrolling down the main page #1131911Hi Ismael,
1) You’re on to something, because on the other page where I have a newsletter signup it does the same thing. Ok I changed the newsletter menu grid name to “signupn” & it works!!!
2) So I saved the permalinks twice and the site was back to normal. It seems to happen whenever I translate the homepage via WPML but only on the child theme. Strange. Save the permalinks twice.
Thanks guys!

Please let me know when you’re ready to look at this issue and I will turn it off again.

The page is the draft in the products section.

The top margin is no biggie, as I can lower the line in the next column if I have to.Cheers,

Hi Ismael,
Yes, I have. The CSS count went down to 7 from 8 but that’s about it. Like I said, is seems as though these files are created dynamically and they keep multiplying every time I try to combine them.
Cheers,
Itai
Hi Rikard,
That could be. However there are 3 files from the theme. As many files as my attempts to minify manually. Notice how the template name keeps changing?
for the time being I’ve gone back to AUTO setting, as that gives me 8 instead of 27 css files, but would really love to find out what’s going on here.
Cheers,
Itai
When I use the ‘help wizard’ to combine the CSS (it also does the same with JS files) -First I had 8 files, after combining 18, after combining again, 27. It’s like it keeps increasing every time I try to combine the CSS…
see images below:
thanks in advance,
ItaiHi Rikard,
I did not have file compression active when I tried it. I have since put it on to see whether I could combine files that way. I only got one less CSS & one less JS file. But I digress, no, file compression was not on when I tried combining the JS & CSS via W3 Total Cache.
Thanks,
i
Right. That’s too bad. The fact is that layerslider images are horizontal and most people browse in portrait mode on phones. ATM my horizontal website images looks terrible on phones. But I don’t want to affect the speed by having to load 2 sets of photos for each page, which would make it slower.
I don’t see how lazy loading would work in this situation as the layersliders are the first thing you see in a page. I really wish there would be a coded solution to not have to load both image sets…
Cheers,
Itai
Basilis,
Thanks for answering. Can you clarify?
Do you mean that hidden color sections are supposed to load if the user is on a retina display?
I don’t know what display GTmetrix use but I can definitely see the 2 color sections (with the images) loading in the waterfall, even though one is supposed to be hidden.Itai
Yes!!!
Thank you!

Thanks Nikko,
On that page it says:
Other Notes: #Other Notes:
Using the ‘false’ setting will fail to produce a new image in the upload directory if one of the image dimensions of the uploaded image are equal to the new image size. How do I implement that for my 1500 x 1000 Pixel images in my child theme functions.php?
anyone?
Here is what I mean. Below my original uploaded file and a generated (by enfold I guess?) image.
Both images are of the same pixel height and width yet the one used in the slider is 30% more Kb.- This reply was modified 6 years, 11 months ago by Itai.
Hi Rikard,
Yeah, I figured it out. It was a plugin that was causing a conflict. WPSSO Core. I uninstalled it.
Thanks!

case closed!
Thanks Jordan! It works.

Yup! it works!
Just missing the cart counter ;-)
So it works in quick CSS but that’s only for the slideshow-button, what about the other buttons on the site and the shopping cart counter classes?
Cheers,
