    Hi Ismael,

Yes, I have. The CSS count went down to 7 from 8 but that’s about it. Like I said, is seems as though these files are created dynamically and they keep multiplying every time I try to combine them.

    Cheers,

    Itai

    Hi Rikard,

That could be. However there are 3 files from the theme. As many files as my attempts to minify manually. Notice how the template name keeps changing?

for the time being I’ve gone back to AUTO setting, as that gives me 8 instead of 27 css files, but would really love to find out what’s going on here.

When I use the ‘help wizard’ to combine the CSS (it also does the same with JS files) -First I had 8 files, after combining 18, after combining again, 27. It’s like it keeps increasing every time I try to combine the CSS…

    Hi Rikard,

I did not have file compression active when I tried it. I have since put it on to see whether I could combine files that way. I only got one less CSS & one less JS file. But I digress, no, file compression was not on when I tried combining the JS & CSS via W3 Total Cache.

    Thanks,

in reply to: Loading of images in hidden color section? #1072668

Right. That’s too bad. The fact is that layerslider images are horizontal and most people browse in portrait mode on phones. ATM my horizontal website images looks terrible on phones. But I don’t want to affect the speed by having to load 2 sets of photos for each page, which would make it slower.

I don’t see how lazy loading would work in this situation as the layersliders are the first thing you see in a page. I really wish there would be a coded solution to not have to load both image sets…

    Cheers,

    Basilis,

Thanks for answering. Can you clarify?

Do you mean that hidden color sections are supposed to load if the user is on a retina display?
I don’t know what display GTmetrix use but I can definitely see the 2 color sections (with the images) loading in the waterfall, even though one is supposed to be hidden.

    See below.
I’m hoping this will be fixed soon, as I always rave about Kriesi to all my clients.

in reply to: Image bloat on layerslider #897282

    Thanks Nikko,

    On that page it says:

    Other Notes: #Other Notes:
Using the ‘false’ setting will fail to produce a new image in the upload directory if one of the image dimensions of the uploaded image are equal to the new image size.

How do I implement that for my 1500 x 1000 Pixel images in my child theme functions.php?

in reply to: Image bloat on layerslider #896671

    anyone?

in reply to: Image bloat on layerslider #895878

Here is what I mean. Below my original uploaded file and a generated (by enfold I guess?) image.
Both images are of the same pixel height and width yet the one used in the slider is 30% more Kb.

Yeah, I figured it out. It was a plugin that was causing a conflict. WPSSO Core. I uninstalled it.

    Thanks!

    Yup! it works!

Just missing the cart counter ;-)

in reply to: Button CSS class #882918

So it works in quick CSS but that’s only for the slideshow-button, what about the other buttons on the site and the shopping cart counter classes?

    Cheers,

in reply to: Button CSS class #882912

    Hey Jordan,

Thanks for the quick reply by sorry, doesn’t do anything. I purged all caches, hard refreshed dozens of times. Nada.

Also, just to be clear, I want ALL buttons, not just the slideshow ones. And also the shopping cart counter ;-)

    Cheers,

    Hi Victoria,

Yes, I applied the quick styling suggested by Nico in another post. It works now. Thank you!

in reply to: css of the woocommerce message #806050

    Hi Rikard,

Yes, that’s where I placed it, in the quick CSS. It doesn’t have any effect on the cart message…

in reply to: css of the woocommerce message #805565

    Hey Nikko

You would have to make an order, go to the cart page and remove an item from your cart. When you remove an item the message will appear on the top of the page in a green box…

    Ok,
This is what I came up with, in case anyone is also struggling with this. Not perfect but it works
I decided to show the magnifying glass on a hover:

    .single-product div.product .woocommerce-product-gallery .woocommerce-product-gallery__trigger  {height: 1.5em;!important;}

    .single-product div.product .woocommerce-product-gallery .woocommerce-product-gallery__trigger:hover  {height: 6em;!important;}

in reply to: Single product border CSS #801572

Well the yellow square is back…but so is the emoji ;-(
I’ve updated my online enfold child css, you can see for yourself.

    Cheers,

in reply to: Single product border CSS #801558

    Hi Sarah,

Thanks those work but what I want is to keep the yellow square and remove the emoji.
.emoji {display: none !important;} does not remove the emoji unfortunately.

    What should I use?

    Itai
