Yep! I totally got it. You rock.
Thanks again!

YES!!!!!
Thank you, Guenni. Very much.
I’ll give it another shot!!!
Yes… because I couldn’t get the solution you sent to work properly, which is why I said:
“OK, so I’ve done some dancing with this- it didn’t work. What we wanted to do was add two buttons above the logo/menu area.
I came upon this, which we can totally work with:”
I thought I was making that clear… sorry.
We’ve accepted this as an alternative, but need the proper CSS.
OK, so I’ve done some dancing with this- it didn’t work. What we wanted to do was add two buttons above the logo/menu area.
I came upon this, which we can totally work with:
BUT…
The CSS on that page is wrong.
The title says:
Header Layout: Logo left, Widgets right, menu below
But the CSS clearly says
/************************************
Logo left, Widget center, widget right, menu above
*************************************
Anyone have the proper CSS for Logo left, Widgets right, menu below?
Thanks!
M
I’ll try that this evening!
Thank you SO much!
M
Thanks!
Where are these snippets?
I’m not sure how this applies to our current situation. We just want to have the header widget area show up in the right place, and not affect the appearance of the menu/logo.
The “top bar”?
Nope.

There’s what the mobile menu looks like. We just want it at 100% opacity with a white background, as normal.
Thanks!
I can confirm the rollback situation. 5.5 broke Enfold. Advanced layout editor just spins.
Used this plugin to roll back to 5.4.2, and everything is OK.

Thank you so much!!!
FYI – Josue posted here back in 2013 using two words for the sidebar name:
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/sidebar-functionality-and-assigning-sidebar-to-category-archive-page/#post-175388You might want to edit that!
Thanks again.
Any luck?
Thanks!
OK – first off, I miscoded it…
It should have been category, not archive. But it’s still throwing an error.
Here’s the proper code:
if (is_category(artist)) {
dynamic_sidebar(‘Directory Sidebar’);
$default_sidebar = false;Here’s the error it throws:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘Sidebar’’ (T_STRING) in (site) /wp-content/themes/enfold-child/sidebar.php on line 76
That’s this line:
dynamic_sidebar(‘Directory Sidebar’);
Thanks!
M
I’ll turn on wp debug and see what errors it throws! TY!
Header and main menu showed up fine, but body content and sidebar were blank.
Hey folks.
We’re having this problem here, too:
The “Explore Kingston” Mega Menu is not displaying on mobile.
Cleared the cache. :)
Help?
Thanks!
Thank you sir!
Vinay –
Thanks, but that’s not what I mean. We want the stock header – with logo and menu – on top right. (see “header” in the graphic I posted)
They are asking for the left sidebar to go all the way to the top.
Thanks!
We don’t use imgur, but here’s a google drive link:

Thanks!

November 29, 2016 at 3:24 am in reply to: Youtube video too wide in Woocommere product drescription area. #718076Hey Yigit!
No dice. I added the code in question, but the video is still doing the same thing.
Thanks!
Mark
Sorry… I will! I only replied to say that it had been working before. :)
Best,
MYIGIT!
Morning.
I mentioned it because we had two separate pages with upwards of 20 videos on each that were working perfectly with the rel=0… but after the update, none of those videos displayed.
Thanks for the quick reply!
Best,
MarkFor those of you who might have been following the thread…
A while back, we had a team member move the header custom widget area into the body of some pages.
I had totally forgotten about it. He had duplicated the Kriesi custom code for adding a widget area to the header, and modified it so it would show up elsewhere.
Thanks, Yigit and Ismael – and sorry to make you crawl through code! You guys are the best. You are absolutely right. Duh.
Thanks SO much!
MSee my initial post. I got it from the official documentation, which says to add it to functions.php.
Yigit!
Hey. Sure! see below
You folks have been in there before – it’s just a testbed, not public… so I’ll add links in the private area. :)
Thank you!
Awesome. You’re the best…. thanks!
You are TOO awesome.
So… does this apply to posts? (so if I change the category in ‘slug_category’ to the category of a particular post…) ?
Thanks VERY much, and have a great weekend! -
