Thanks Victoria, I can find the js file but I don’t know what I need to add or edit to make the testimonials speed slower. Please can you assist? This is the current js:
(function($)
{
“use strict”;// ——————————————————————————————-
// testimonial shortcode javascript
// ——————————————————————————————-$.fn.avia_sc_testimonial = function(options)
{
return this.each(function()
{
var container = $(this), elements = container.find(‘.avia-testimonial’);//trigger displaying of thumbnails
container.on(‘avia_start_animation’, function()
{
elements.each(function(i)
{
var element = $(this);
setTimeout(function(){ element.addClass(‘avia_start_animation’) }, (i * 150));
});
});
});
}}(jQuery));
Hi Michael, I just timed it and the default testimonial slider changes every 3 seconds, which is too fast! Its a JS file that needs to be edited. I found this on the forum which tells you which file to edit but they didn’t give any instructions what to edit! https://kriesi.at/support/topic/testimonial-slider-transition-speed-change/
HI Rikard,
I am not using a caching/minification plugin.I’m not sure what you mean by regenerate files under Enfold->Performance? I can not see an option to “regenerate files”?
Clearing browser cache and reloading the page works for quick CSS but I have to clear cache every time I make a change which previously I only had to reload page.
Clearing browser cache and reloading the page is not working for advanced styling which is what this thread is about.
Thanks
I am having the same problem. I have used Enfold many times over the last few years but I have not encountered this problem, so it must be an issue with the latest release??
I have noticed that when I add quick CSS, the changes only take effect if I clear browser cache after, but I have to do this every time I make a change which I didn’t have to do this before. When I use Advanced Styling it is not showing any changes though, even after clearing browser cache? Again, this used to work instantly.
Enfold team – do you know why this is happening? Is this an issue with the latest release? Can it be fixed?
February 27, 2017 at 3:24 pm in reply to: Mega Menu multiple menu sections within the same column #752303tlchase – thanks for understanding me! Yes you have explained very well what I too am trying to accomplish. Andy, can you show us a website that uses the enfold theme and has a mega menu with multiple sections within one column as its clearly not working for me and tlchase doing what you have suggested.
Thanks Sarah
February 21, 2017 at 7:39 pm in reply to: Mega Menu multiple menu sections within the same column #750134Andy, I have already tried this and it does not work in the way that I am asking. When selecting “This column should start a new row” this places a new row beneath ALL of the columns, and not a new row WITHIN the column. So as per the image I sent to you https://goo.gl/photos/hv13hV9AbCMQsFZe6 as you see “Flooring Extras” this is where I selected “This column should start a new row”. This does not put this in a new row in column 2 in the position that I have indicated in red.
February 21, 2017 at 5:19 pm in reply to: Mega Menu multiple menu sections within the same column #750057No Andy, I don’t want to remove the menu items! The menu items I have crossed out in red simply indicate that I don’t want them there but I want to move them up to where I have placed them in the 2nd column – this was the quickest way to reply to your message by drawing on on the screen grab and copy and pasting the menus items into the 2nd column. I cant understand what you are not understanding? Can you not see that I have moved “Amtico Vinyl Flooring” from the 3rd column to the 2nd column and “Flooring Extras” from the bottom row into the 2nd column?
This is how the menu is at the moment as per image in my first message – https://goo.gl/photos/8zSdaxBPuSuFrz5s6
And now I have drawn on it again to try and show you better. This is what I want to do, i want to move them into the 2nd col – https://goo.gl/photos/hv13hV9AbCMQsFZe6

February 20, 2017 at 1:10 pm in reply to: Mega Menu multiple menu sections within the same column #749297Hi Andy,
Thanks for your reply but i’m not sure you understand my message. I already know how to add the mega menu but what I would like to do is the following: (I will use the enfold shop demo again as an example)Column 1
Overview
Shop Overview
Features Overview
Single Product Examples
Default product
Custom product 1
Custom product 2Column 2
Women
General
Casual
Business
Packages
SportColumn 3
Men
General
Casual
Business
Packages
SportCan you put the info from column 4 into column 1 so that it is below the info that is already in column 1? (but not as a new row as this will sit under all the columns, I want it as part of the same column) Does this make sense?
What I am trying to do with the website I am designing is fill the white space where I have some columns that don’t have many page links. see picture here https://goo.gl/photos/bnDwNdaR4Dja5Dzm7 column 1 has lots of page links but column 2 and 3 don’t have many page links so there is a lot of white space which doesn’t look right.
Thanks Sarah
February 8, 2017 at 3:46 pm in reply to: Mega Menu multiple menu sections within the same column #744385Hi Rikard, the site is not live yet/viewable to public. To give you an example though – , if you look at the mega menu on http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-shop/ – how would you put “Single Product Examples” section into column 1 so it is directly underneath the “Overview” section where the white space is? I dont want it as a as a new row underneath all of the columns.
Thanks Sarah
January 31, 2017 at 2:45 pm in reply to: Mega Menu multiple menu sections within the same column #740651Hi, I have the same problem as above – did this ever get resolved?
I am using the mega menu but would like to know if there is a way to start a new row in the second column? As it is, if I select “start a new row” it puts it underneath all of the columns. If you look at this screen grab of the website I am working on https://goo.gl/photos/bnDwNdaR4Dja5Dzm7 as you see there is a lot of white space in column 2 and 3 which I would prefer to fill. I would like to put “Amtico Vinyl Flooring” and “Flooring extras” in column 2 underneath Haro wood flooring. Is this possible?
Thanks
Sarah
Hi there,
I have the same problem as Corrina. When I share the blog post on facebook it just shares a link to the website – no image, post title or excerpt. I have tried everything suggested on forums and searched for a fix but still no resolve. Th Facebook debugger is giving me the following warnings:Inferred Property
The ‘og:url’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
Inferred Property
The ‘og:title’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
Inferred Property
The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
Share App ID Missing
The ‘fb:app_id’ property should be explicitly provided, Specify the app ID so that stories shared to Facebook will be properly attributed to the app. Alternatively, app_id can be set in url when open the share dialog.
Inferred Property
The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.Can you advise?
Thanks
Sarah
Thanks so much Ismael, that worked perfectly! :-)
Hi Rikard,
The site is not live yet and cannot be viewed by the public as I have mojo under construction plugin installed, I can add your IP though which will enable you to view? The css that Ismael provided in this post (pasted below) works for part of what I require but I don’t want the overlay to be visible when viewed on mobile, only the text caption.@media only screen and (max-width: 989px) {
/* Add your Mobile Styles here */
.av-overlay-on-hover .avia-image-container-inner .av-image-caption-overlay {
opacity: 1;
filter: alpha(opacity=100);
}
}So basically, my current image settings are to display just the image and then on hover a caption and semi-transparent overlay will appear. But on touchscreen/mobile I would like the text to be displayed all of the time on the image but NOT with the overlay. As I say, the CSS that Ismael provided works but it includes the semi-transparent overlay which makes the image look faded.
Does this make sense?
Thanks Sarah
Hi Ismael,
I also have a set of images which are currently set to have a caption appear on hover only but would like to display the caption permanently on mobile but I would like to HIDE the overlay on mobiles too – please could you advise of the css for this?Many Thanks
Sarah
