Hi Peter,
if you can replace the standard search with a plugin, then I would use Relevanssi instead. I found a post about replacing search with relevanssi (http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/use-relevanssi-in-search-instead-of-the-default-search/), but I am not sure where to change the code. In function.php?
Best regards,
HolgerHi Josue, thanks for the quick reply. Works like a charm. Problem solved.
Best regards,
HolgerHi Devin, the blog style settings are “Single author, big preview pic”. I have some quick CSS in the “General Styling” section that might affect the styling in archive pages:
.archive .post-meta-infos { display: none !important; } .single-post .big-preview.single-big { display: none; } .page .page-thumb { display: none; } div.mc-field-group br { display: none; }
Maybe the CSS is to blame for it, not sure 100%.
Best regards,
HolgerHi Yigit, that was quick! Problem solved, thanks!
Hi Josue,
thanks for the tip. Looks like the problem solved itself when I edit the page in the visual part only. But will keep your functions.php hack in mind.
Best regards,
HolgerHi Ismael,
thanks for the quick reply. The original topics URL is https://kriesi.at/support/topic/horizontal-mailchimp-subscribe-form/. The problem has been solved back then and the topic closed. After the change to the new WP, the tags occurred.
But your CSS changes solved the problem – thanks a lot!
Best regards,
HolgerHi Devin, just to be sure that I understood it correctly – I register a custom shortcode (say [break]) and use this shortcode instead of the <br> tag?
Best regards,
HolgerHi Peter, thanks for the tip. Will try this plugin out. For the time being, I changed the search.php and it worked.
Best regards,
HolgerHi Yigit, just downloaded the latest version from Themeforest and checked the ru_RU.po file. The error is still there (6th position from the end). I can change the search.php, but will have to do that after each update. Better to change it in the .po file.
Best regards,
HolgerHi, thought this thread is the most appropriate for translation bugs. There is an error in the Russian .po file. Not in the translation, but the original text. In the string “If you are not happy with the results bellow please do another search” “bellow” should be changed into “below”. Because of this error the string doesn’t translate properly.
EDIT: opened a separate ticket, please ignore this post.

Yigit, thanks, works perfect!
Works! Thanks a lot. Problem solved.
Josue, haven’t thought of that. Tried it out with the traditional editor – same result. I set up a test page (since the site is live) with only the form on it: http://infotropic.ru/?page_id=607. In the visual editor the form shows in one line as it is supposed to show. But on the page it is still in several lines.
Best regards,
