Hi there!
Thank you very much for your help. It was indeed the lazy-load plugin that caused this strange behaviour! I think the images were not loaded properly until you scroll down there and that was giving basically the wrong dimension for the scrolling script since the section was smaller without the images loaded on it.
Thank you once again!
Best regards,

Thanks for your prompt response!
The thing is that in other cases (i.e here https://www.hoteldukespalace.com/culinary/#terrace) we don’t have the same issue.
I understand that normally someone would click on the link to go to the section, but sometimes for marketing purposes, you need to post the link with the anchor link embedded on it to direct the guest directly to the section you want.
And since in another Enfold build seems to work fine maybe you can help me find the issue…Thank you.
August 5, 2019 at 2:50 pm in reply to: Jumping to anchors from other pages does't work well #1124756Hello to everyone!
I am writing to this thread as I think my problem is the same as the one described in the title!
I have a few anchor links in a submenu in a page, and when you visit the page with the anchor link embedded in the URL you have been directed to the wrong height of the page. But when you click on the anchor link (in our case one of the submenu items) while you are on the page the scrolling works just fine!
Here is an example: https://www.lloyd.nl/eat-drink/#menus
In order to understand which should be the correct scrolling height, you need to click on the anchor link “menus” on the submenu which is located right below from the first section (next to “book your table” button) again after the page loads for the first time.
I don’t have the same issue in other Enfold websites.
See for example here: https://www.hoteldukespalace.com/culinary
Could you please help me solve the mystery?
Thank you.

Hello to every one,
So there is not a way to deactivate swipe function on tabs section?
Thank you.
Thanks Ismael!
Hi Ismael,
Thanks for your answer, this seems to do the trick!
Just a quick clarification: will this file be overwritten on a next update of Enfold or WPML or should everything still be in place and working after an update?
Thanks again!
Sure, see attached (private content)
Following my previous post:
The only quick fix that works is by overwriting the columns.php file by an older version (<1 year ago). So it seems a problem in this file?Hey Ismael,
I still face the problem too unfortunately. It has been mentioned quite a few times in the forum (e.g. https://kriesi.at/support/topic/columns-equal-height-problem-in-secondary-language/) in the last few months, but this issue still affects the whole layout on translated pages. Kindly let me know when you have a solution.
Thanks!
Hi Ismael,
Please find the details in the private content section.
Kind regards,
Hi Ismael,
Sorry, yes I tried. Nothing really happens, same issue is still active after moving columns inside their own color section. It definitely has something to do with the equal height setting. When the first 1/3 column is set to ‘individual height’ the 1/3 columns are displayed next to each other (horizontal). However, with equal height something goes wrong..
Please let me know if you need any additional information in order to fix this issue.
Kind regards,
Hi Ismael,
Thank you for your reply. I’ve replaced the line (765) in the config-templatebuilder > avia-shortcodes > columns.php file. It does affect the columns. However, the columns are still displayed below each other instead of next to each other (equal height, 1/3 1/3 13).
Before and after screenshots (afer = after editing columns.php file): http://imgur.com/a/Mj6ou
It also looks to be a issue with the <!–close column table wrapper. Autoclose: 1–> appearing after each 1/3 column (screenshot can also be found at http://imgur.com/a/Mj6ou )
Hi Rikard,
I would also like to add that this issue also occurs when removing full-width submenu and some other elements on the page.
If you need more information please let me know!
Kind regards,
Hi Rikard,
Is there a fix/solution available?
I have the exact same issue, this also only appears on translated pages. Example: when I remove a random element on the translated page the equal height columns (1/3 1/3 1/3) are displayed vertical instead of horizontal: like 1/1 1/1 1/1 vertical.Already did some troubleshooting by saving page as template etc. It only happens with translated pages, and only with columns set equal height.
Thank you Dake, it worked!
Hi Josue,
Thank you for the recommendations!
Hi Yigit,
Thank your for your reply. I’ve attached the screenshots + further explanation in the private content section!
December 10, 2014 at 6:06 pm in reply to: Buttons on fullscreen slider act strange on mobile #366136Hi Yigit,
Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately it didn’t fix the issue. Still large buttons on ipad/iphone etc.
Any idea?Beste regards,
JeroenHi Devin,
Unfortunately still no changes.
I thought it would be an easy fix, but it turns out to be more complicated :). If you’ve any more suggestions please let me know. Meanwhile, I’ll try to figure out a different way of presenting the content in the portrait mode.
Thanks,
Nick
Hi Ismael,
Unfortunately that didn’t work.
The second column only moves down, when <768px. On iPad portrait mode it still show the 2 columns next to each other..
Any other suggestions would be appreciated!! Thanks
Thanks for your answer Peter.
I used media screens to alter the size of the text box for different resolutions.
The only thing I haven’t figured out: On iPad (portrait mode, 768 px) the text block is positioned next to the photo. In order to have a larger space for the text block, I would like to have the text block BELOW the picture (like on smaller screen resolution (<768px). I tried using:
@media screen and (max-width: 800px) {
div. av_one_half{
width: 70%;
}
}
But that didn’t work out. How do I get the text block below the picture, like on http://goo.gl/M2e6S (600 x 800)
Thanks!
Nick
Hello Peter,
Found a solution:
.avia-builder-el-4{
margin-top: 0px !important;
}
Thanks!
Hi,
I’ve been trying some things with CSS, using the following:
.el_after_av_one_half {
background-color: #f9f7f7;
height: 335px;
}
div .av_one_half {margin-left:1%; width:49%;}
.avia_textblock {
padding:20px}
On desktop version it works ok, but on iPad the fixed height causes trouble. The image crops, while the text block stays the same height. Besides, it obviously affects also all text blocks (e.g. on homepage etc). Hopefully you can provide me a more neat solution!
kind regards,
Nick
Tnx so much.
Seems to be working!
Hi Nick,
Thanks for your reply.
I resized my logo to 156×88 and removed the code. Everything is all fine with the logo.
The troubles on the ‘Luxe Kamer’ page stay. The following picture explanes the white spaces etc. http://img713.imageshack.us/img713/5818/screenshot20130522at130.jpg .
I tried everything to fix it. It seems to be happening whenever I start the page with tabs.
Hope you can help.
Regards,
Hi Nick,
Thanks for your support. It’s very much appreciated :)!
We were able to align the ‘Boek nu’ & ‘Meer informatie’ links.
However on the ‘Luxe-Kamer’ page we still run in to some trouble. For some reason there are some menu styling elements that change when we load the page.
– The menu text becomes bold.
– There’s a thin line between the header and slider
– White spaces on either sides of both the header and slider
– Menubar seems to be higher compared to other pages (You can see this with the ‘Boek Nu’ button)
URL is : http://goo.gl/OjMdx
Hope we can fix it. Site is getting better!
Regards
Hi Nick,
Thanks for the advice. I’ve added the CSS code for issue 1, but unfortunately it does not change anything. There is still a gap between the top and the navigation bar.
Regarding issue 2: Really strange, I checked the link and it goes to the page on our website… no idea how you get a Japanese site :)
The problem exists for example on the ‘Kamers’ or ‘Arrangementen’ page (main navigation). In the text block, you’ll see on the right hand side a button ‘ Meer informatie’. On the left hand side you’ll see a text ‘Boek Nu’. For some reason we cannot get this on the same line. Is this due to a css code of the Theme?
Thanks again for all your advice. Very much appreciated!
