August 15, 2020 at 8:08 pm in reply to: dynamic_avia creating huge amounts of data for some reason? HELP #1238044
Hey again!
So we went ahead and applied this upgrade and followed the method you explained to multiple websites that we own, and every website and instance of wordpress worked flawlessly, except for ONE of our sites. There seems to be missing some of the layout building elements when editing pages (the options that appear on the side, for sidebars and footers and headers, this box of options is missing) so the layout of the site is looking pretty wack. The fonts are looking weird too, so I think something must have been broken during the process. Here’s the message I got from the guy doing the upgrades and I was wondering if you had any idea what could have happened.
“We are encountering an error after upgrading from 4.5 to 4.7.6.2. A number of layout options are not available after the upgrade. We have been using enfold on other sites and do not have this issue however we have not done a major upgrade like we did as written previously. Is there a version upgrade path we must follow?
Please note we are running on WP 5.5. Thanks.”
I’m also happy to make you a login for the website, please see my message in the private content box.
Thanks so much for your help so far!

August 13, 2020 at 4:45 pm in reply to: dynamic_avia creating huge amounts of data for some reason? HELP #1237475Thanks for the response! I’ll give it a try. I’m looking around for ‘Enfold Theme Options” is that just the area where you go Appearance > Themes > Enfold > Customize?
I found a thread that seemed promising, but unfortunately this string of code will not work when added to my child theme functions file
add_filter( 'avf_avia_builder_masonry_lightbox_img_size', 'enfold_customization_change_popup_size' ); function enfold_customization_change_popup_size( $size ) { return 'fullsize'; }
Another bump, please see the private reply.
I just need help telling enfold Lightbox/galleries to not use a resized version of my media, and instead pop up the raw file in the Lightbox, assuming this light box is responsive.

This reply has been marked as private.If there’s anyone out there I really need assistance with this issue.
This may be an issue with the regenerate thumbnails plugin at this point as it will not let me adjust the max pixels to 9999, as it would be ‘larger than the original.’
How then may I tell masonry gallery and regular gallery to use the full size image as opposed to ‘large’ size thumbnails? Perhaps with a string of code to the child theme?

Awesome, thanks so much, it seems to be doing everything I need it to do. Feel free to close topic!
Thank so much Victoria! The code snippets seem to be working great :)
Thank you Victoria! It works.
However I do have one question. Is this date going to change as the day changes? What we’re looking for is the date to show up on a post that is created with the advanced editor so that it shows the date the post was made, I’m concerned that this [date] shortcode is going to display the day of the month on the current day you’re looking at the post.
Sorry, could you please try these ones?

May 14, 2017 at 9:22 pm in reply to: Remove lines and borders on boxed layout left menu/sidebar #793076Thanks so much for your help mike!
I contacted the client and she wasn’t thrilled with the buttons as text based in the menu. I ended up just building her a custom menu per page with her own graphic buttons she had created using a custom code block. Seems to be working out for her.
Thanks so much for your help, sorry to have wasted some time here!
May 14, 2017 at 1:00 am in reply to: Remove lines and borders on boxed layout left menu/sidebar #792845For reference, I tried using this code to shrink the sidebar down to 10% in hopes that it would somehow help solve the issue by making all that stuff smaller. There was no effect from this code.
.container .av-content-small.units { width: 90% !important; }
May 14, 2017 at 12:58 am in reply to: Remove lines and borders on boxed layout left menu/sidebar #792844Thank you Mike! It seems to have worked for all the borders except for the one on the right. However, I think it looks kind of good this way so I will check with the client to see if she won’t mind having it.
I’ve got one more question before I go. It’s been reported to me that the sidebar area isn’t able to be used fully on some smaller sized laptops (smaller screens in UHD 1440P). What I mean is, my friend was doing some testing for me, and since the sidebar is stickied it wouldn’t scroll down with the rest of the site (intentional.) However, it wasn’t responsive in his browser in a way that would let him have full access to the menu. The bottom half was cut off for him with no way to get to it. Is there a known fix for this? Included a screenshot.
Thanks again, and thanks for taking the time to read.

May 13, 2017 at 5:35 pm in reply to: Remove lines and borders on boxed layout left menu/sidebar #792756Sure. Please bare in mind it is an adult oriented website for a model’s photos. 18+ only. I’ve included the link and made a login account for you. Thanks so much.
I’d like to remove those lines around the left sidebar/logo as well as the lines around the social icons. I think if I used graphical assets for the buttons the menu wouldn’t be able to be stickied and wouldn’t be useable on mobile, so I’m reporting that to the client and will stick with buttons in the menu.
