@ac Out of interest, are you using Chrome by any chance? Have you tried another browser? I have issues with Chrome vs Enfold and when you search the Forum, MANY people do too.
Hey, did you ever resolve your Chrome browser issue? I have always suffered issues with my browser in this way, time outs, 500 errors etc. It ONLY happens when trying to edit Enfold sites. It has nothing to do with which plugins you have installed. It’s just Chrome vs Enfold in my humble opinion. Interested to know if you found a solution.
I got to the route of the issue. It all stems from the /var/sites/s/ which is reference to Vidahost Hosting. The setting is implemented on Auto Install of WordPress. I could see clearly this was set in the Media Folder settings. After an initial auto install, Vidahost say it is ok to delete this setting. I don’t understand the technical reasons for doing this, but there is a clue for anyone else with errors relating to /var/sites/ .
Hope it Helps.
Hi, I have just encountered this same error.
I’ve updated my theme and WP to the very latest 3.8.4 and 4.7.1 but I also ran WP-Sweep across the board. I’m going to go back to a backup but thought I would comment in case anyone knew what the issue was. (Oh, I also changed PHP from 5.3 to 7 but switching back doesnt fix it).
Oh the joys … :)
Update: I went back to a backup – went through the process again, got the same error but I didn’t run sweep, it wasnt there. There was some referral to sweep plugin though “The plugin wp-sweep/wp-sweep.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.” so what backup my hosting company restored, I don’t know. Back up and running again with the site and latest versions lol

Hi Nikko,
That’s going to be really difficult to do at the moment. I’m working with the desktop server support at the moment and once we figure more out, I’ll get back to you if that’s OK.
H
Not that I am aware no.
I had revslider installed but have since removed the plugin and tried again – same result. Really not sure what is causing the error. As you will probably know, the Duplicator software does a complete backup.
Really stuck now.

Hi Guys,
I managed to send the archive to the support at Desktop Server. They say there is an issue with the Enfold theme.
Can anyone shed any light on the issue? Surely others must have used this product before? Please help.
Thanks,
HDecember 20, 2016 at 1:31 pm in reply to: Ajax Error!!! error – Slider Revolution – can anyone re-create? #726538Update – FIXED. Hi Yigit and others who may read this.
I received an email back from Themepunch support:
“Try increasing the memory in your “wp-config.php” file”, simply add these lines at the end of the wp-config file”:
ini_set('memory_limit', '256M'); ini_set('upload_max_filesize', '128M'); ini_set('post_max_size', '128M'); ini_set('file_uploads', 'On'); ini_set('max_execution_time', '3000'); ini_set('file_uploads', 'On');
Prior to this I still saw ALL green tick boxes showing in the System Requirements panel of the Slider Revolution dashboard which suggested there were no issues with memory etc. Updating the config file has not changed these numbers. The Memory Limit shows 256M, The Upload Max. Filesize still shows 100M and the Max. Post Size shows 100M.
Hope this helps others.
p.s. is there a standard wp-config that you recommend for Enfold installs ?

December 20, 2016 at 1:31 am in reply to: Ajax Error!!! error – Slider Revolution – can anyone re-create? #726377Hi @Yigit,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I changed to Twenty Sixteen and the import worked fine. Does this suggest a conflict with Enfold?
I have deactivated all plugins (other than Akismet, CGC Maintenance Mode Pro and WP Super Cache (switched off at the moment)Regards,
HNovember 17, 2016 at 2:21 am in reply to: Revolution Slider – Supported? – No. Compatible? Anyone know? #713324I gave up with the pricing table. Rikard acknowledged this is a bug 16 months ago. Like many bugs reported, they go unfixed and you constantly ask users for their login details so you can fix things, which is great in the short term – but they never seem to get passed on to the development team @kriesi. I love the Enfold theme and have been using it for a few years now, but it gets me when you come across old ‘forgotten’ bugs that are just not followed up and fixed. What used to be a very intuitive, easy to use, ‘out of the box’, theme is in danger of becoming a developer only theme (OK a bit harsh perhaps but you see where I’m coming from), which I’m sure is not your intention. With the recent advancements of other themes and visual builders, sliders, consistency around options and settings, I feel you (and your market) are potentially losing out. I know Kriesi is moving and growing the business model so I hope things will improve as part of the process. I’m here and will support you guys by continuing to buy your themes. Your support is the best I’ve come across and always very helpful. Sorry for the moan, I’m just trying to help :)
Shame this bug has not been resolved yet :(
October 18, 2016 at 11:37 pm in reply to: Church demo: Sermons: How did you realize the audio player? #700952Hi Gerald,
I have used audio on one of my sites. I have the audio hosted but the code on the page is as follows [audio wav="/wp-content/uploads/FILENAME.wav"][/audio]Hope that helps?
Hi @PabloStennett,
Sorry, but I gave up trying to get the event countdown working properly. Support team say it works, I say it doesn’t. Good luck trying to resolve the issue.

hey @fgrippe
You need to upgrade to Enfold 3.7 and then implement the Google Map API key. There are instructions here:
http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-register-a-google-maps-api-key/Hope that helps.
Brilliant, many thanks,
I seem to have a problem, LINK below. I have a Special Heading, Heading Text which uses which is ok, but also <u> the text in the <u> changes to red but not the font. I guess I have to specifically make the Special Heading Heading Text this font too?
Can you let me know what I need to add to Quick CSS?
Also, I may need to change the font for the Header and Description for the catalogue entries too, if you could let me know those as well
Really appreciate the help.

Hi Yigit,
Thanks, that worked great.
I really need to change the Fullwidth Easy Slider Caption Text. At the moment I am inserting it into < u > < /u > so I can get it red and with the closest Google Font I could find.
How would make the Caption Text red (#ed232a) and use the custom font?
I presume my Caption Text Font Size will still be controlled by the Form Element?
I would also like to be able to control the styling of the special heading subheading text if possible too.
Thanks,Having font issues too.
@Rikard can you help? https://kriesi.at/support/topic/css-font-styling-for-child-theme-quick-css/@Yidit
You’re awesome, I would never have found that one. Thank you so much for quick response. I will take a look changing the site to use the font where required on my return.
Have a great weekend !
Hey guys,
I’ve never bumped a support issue before, but it is a little frustrating seeing you immediately reply to other issues that are coming in. (and I accept I have been fortunate to benefit from your speedy, excellent support in this way). I’m away from the office for a few days and it would be good to know, you at least understand my issue and that you can indeed login to the site and FTP and perhaps take a look whilst I am away?
Thanks again, and sorry for the bump. I will remain patient :D and thanks for 3.8 :D
Do it @Vinay ! :)
Hi,
I upgraded to the latest WP 4.6.1 and latest Enfold 3.8 and my API key works, hurrah! I actually defined both mywebsite/* and *.mywebsite/* (my site doesn’t have www. at the beginning)
Thanks for fixing it.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for your help with the above. I found an alternative font, “fingerpaint” but the client would really like chalkduster font used. But I can not get it to work at all. I wonder if you could take a look at the back end?
I’ll provide Admin Login to the site, and FTP too if you wouldn’t mind taking a look for me?
If you can get H1 to be chalkduster that would be fantastic. H1 is used on the About | Menu | Contact Us and News headers. Right now it is showing a plain font, because it is not finding the Chalkduster one.
I even downloaded the Chalkduster webfont from GitHub but still did not work.
Really hope you can help with this.
Many thanks,
H@andybarn Thanks for the heads up on your observation. I will look into this on mt site that is not working. (at the moment, I have just use a key without defining any URL). I’m refraining from updating all my other sites until Kriesi support can say it is fixed or have clear instructions for making it work, but will try this and report back on Monday.
I have the URL entered correctly.

@sarahjowhite
Not sure this will help, but I do this all the time… It always happens when you use the Avia Layout Builder and use a full width element, e.g. Color Section. When you do this and and the default Layout Settings for Sidebar are set to Left Sidebar or Right Sidebar it will always display at the bottom. If you are using the the advanced layout builder, you have to turn off the default sidebars and use a Widget Area Element to insert your sidebar.

September 3, 2016 at 12:39 pm in reply to: Grid Row – Forcing the order of cell display on mobile #681623Ah, great thinking Ismael !
It’s quite a lot of work really to have two complete content sections (one for mobile and one for desktop), for now, I have just removed one of the images as a compromise.

August 17, 2016 at 12:21 am in reply to: Google Map Stopped Working After Upgrade to WordPress 4.6 #673433You’ll need to upgrade Enfold to the latest version and get a Google Map API key from Google. You will find the link in the Enfold Theme Settings once you upgrade to the latest version.

I followed the instructions from my wordpress Enfold dashboard. There is a link to the google instructions.
The “Accept requests from these HTTP referrers (websites) (Optional) setting is confusing. What does it actually mean in plain english?
I entered my website address as in the example but the error still happened on my site. Removing my sites URL from this field works, but I’m still interest to know exactly how this bit works.H
