Ok
Thank you!/Hanna
Hi
Tank you for helping me.
I am realising that it would be best for me to redesign the whole site in a way that does not require CSS coding.
Preferably I would love a WYSIWYG editor. How would you recommend me to redesign our site in a way where we would not need CSS coding and where we would not loose important SEO linking to all the pages. Is it at all possible to redesign the pages one by one, keeping the URL´s, into a CSS-free design?
Very thankful for your guidance here.
/Hanna
Ok. So it is alright to have this turned on even though I sometimes add new CSS or changes?
/Hanna
Hi.
I´m sorry but CSS-coding is not simple for me in any way.
I have no clue what you just did or mean I can do.
And whatever you added did not fix how it looks on mobile. Is it not possible to use Enfold to design a site without knowing how to use CSS?
I would love it if you could give me a way to change the design I am referring to without having to add CSS.
Is that possible?Thank you,
HannaHi,
On window sizes below 1088px wide, I would like to hide the Footer Widget “Footer – column1” (with two images/logos).
Hi.
The transparent color section is still not very well responsive on any of the pages where it is used:
All the sub pages under this menu: https://geilolaft.no/hyttemodeller/
Ex one of them: https://geilolaft.no/hyttemodeller/froystul/ – here it looks good almost all the way down from a large window size to the small, but in the smallest/mobile size it does not look good. And all three sub pages under this menu: https://geilolaft.no/hyttetomter/
They all behave a bit differently.
For example on this page: https://geilolaft.no/hyttetomter/voringsfoss-liseth/
the second Color section (containing a Special Heading) is aligned at the bottom of the first Color section (containing a Background image with a Special Heading on top) in larger window sizes, but scaling down it jumps up with a margin above the bottom edge of the large image in the first color section in all sizes down to the smallest/mobile size. But for example in another case: https://geilolaft.no/hyttetomter/lia-fjellgrend/
the setup is the same, but here, the second color section is jumping up and down when scaling down the window. (jumping between being aligned with the bottom edge of the large image in the first color section, and with a margin above the bottom edge)Since they all behave differently, will one CSS code cover them all? If one of these can work well, I could apply the changes to all the other pages.
Thank you for your help,
HannaOk. Yes, the footer is the same on all pages (or should be) so it should be one fix for all pages on the site showing the footer.
See Private Content for site and login.Ok thank you so much!

Hi,
I did as you said, but that had no effect at all.
So I removed it now.
You have my login if you want to try for your self.Anything else?
Hei.
Yes thank you! That was helpful and it looks much nicer! :)Forgot to give you login to my site. See Private Content.
Yes! Now it works in both Chrome and Safari!
Thank you so much for dedicated support! :D/Hanna
It works!! :D
In chrome. Not safari though.Yes I have flushed my browser cashe and history for all time in Chrome. The issue remains.
I also checked in Safari now, after flushing browser cashe and history for all time, and there the problem is double – it happens twice before going to burger menu.See private content with dropbox link to a screen recording of how it works in chrome and safari after flushing cashe now.
The problem remains. Anything else?
Sure, but I need guidance as to where exactly this code is to change it. :) Rikard put it in for me, and I don´t know where this is.
Thank you,
HannaHi Rikard.
Thank you.
The burger menu is now working well. And the regular menu is shrinking in a responsive way much longer. But there last meny object “KONTAKT” is still jumping below the menu at a certain size before it switches over to burger menu. Why is this and is there another fix for it?
Thank you,
Hanna
Try new login in private message:
My login seems to only work for me on my computer, not on others. I will have to ask WordPress support to help me with this so that you guys can login too. I will be back.
Hi,
Ok. but where do I find and change this code?
I can´t find it under: Theme Options –> General Styling –> Quick CSS or: Appearance –> Customize –> Additional CSS
I am a rookie in this field, so I am very thankful for a detailed guide.Thank you!
HannaHi,
Ok. Thank you for your reply. Then it´s probably some settings on my part.
Best regards,
HannaHi,
Ok, see private content for screenshots and login./Hanna
Yes that was it! I removed the Google Maps element (that was already disabled) and now the footer is working fine! :)
But what if we want a Google map on that or another page later? Is there another element you would recommend then?
Oh. and no, you would not see the problem now, because I removed the CSS code so that the page would work for visitors
Hi. Sure. But how do I attach a screenshot here? I can only see options to enclose a link…
Hi Rikard.
I tried the CSS code and it does switch to a burger menu at an earlier point, solving the problem where the last meny object jumps below all others. But the burger menu is not looking or working properly in this in-between-format compared to the smallest format.
The burger menu itself is centralised in stead of aligned to the right as in the smallest window. And when opening the menu it looks different from the one in the smallest format – the burger menu itself pops to the right, while the X to close it is centralised in the window and not inside the menu to the right. Menu items that are hidden in the smallest view are visible here, but behind the burger menu, and the main menu titles are not readable. Probably because there is white text on white background. Only sub menu titles are readable, they are in white text on grey background. Preferably this opened menu should look exactly like the one in a smaller window, where all the text is grey on white background.
So, how to make this burger menu look and work with the page the same way as with the smallest format (mobile friendly format)?Best regards,
HannaThank you! The first option, Using the Envato Market plugin, worked!
Thank you. Now I could login and I will start with the updating process.
Best regards,
