October 5, 2016 at 6:58 pm in reply to: Fullscreen slider Button 1 and Button 2 not aligned on Mobile #695708
Hey Yigit,
I appreciate your diligence but I was just expecting them to bo aligned as they normally are meant to be, not all of them on the left cos’ now it looks far messier (the titles on the right seem not to belong to their CTAs. So I was hoping to get the first botons to be moved to match the alignment with the title and second boton, just as they as meant to be.
Even the size of bottons changed, which is not appealing at all.

September 23, 2016 at 10:18 pm in reply to: Fullscreen slider Button 1 and Button 2 not aligned on Mobile #691034Hey Andy,
Sorry about the right-left confusion ;)
The right side bottons are what I meant. I placed this code but didn’r work:
@media only screen and (min-width: 768px) {
.avia-multi-slideshow-button.avia-slideshow-button-2 {
margin-right: 0;
}
}Also, when on this page “consulta gratis” (secondary menu). First bottonis off centre.

September 23, 2016 at 8:03 pm in reply to: Fullscreen slider Button 1 and Button 2 not aligned on Mobile #690988Hi Andy,
Not the expected result. I just need the left bottons (on mobile) to be perfectly aligned with the title as on the right side. So we’ll need to only move the fisrt bottons outwards to match with tiitle and second bottom. What you gave me moved all of the bottons to the left.

None of the solutions you’ve provided has worked for me yet. Any other suggestions pls? On the left, there’s still a considerable difference in alignment.
Thank you!

September 16, 2016 at 6:16 pm in reply to: Theme switching caused an strange loss of customizations #687675Hi Rikard,
I know it sounds useless to get back to the PARENT but once the theme gets updated the site’s authorship on the socket changes and I hadn’t copied the footer folder on the CHILD theme. Therefore, I usually went and manually modified the footer text without any trouble. However, this time when switching back to the CHILD I had lost customizations that it shouldn’t (at least for logic’s sake) cos’ as far as I understand any changes on the child back end should be reflected on the parent as well. Is that correct?
So the elements I’ve lost (colour setups, 1 social icon, second menu) make the whole thing a bit too confusing. I’ve made this very question in the past so as to avoid any surprises: “do the modifications on the child back end get entirely reflected on the parent?” Then I myself had to find out that in deed the parent may ignore those changes completely. Even some quick CSS lying on the child got erased once I went back. So at this point it is a mystery to me whether the problem is chache-related, hosting-chache related or in deed theme-related?
As for the recovery of lost settings, no worries, I’m working on them. I just think it’s important to create some content related about this sort of issues novices like me can run into when diving into the deep obscure mysteries of web desing and programming :p
Thanks again!

August 17, 2016 at 8:19 am in reply to: Home page is not mobile-friendly according to Goolge. #673552Cool, you’re right Ismael.
So what´s gonna happen to the dozens accidental “index of everything” pages that the actual robots.txt was blocking from the crowlers?
It’s confusing but for now I’m content about the brand new mobile-friendlyness of my site.
Thanks a lot, great service and theme!

August 13, 2016 at 7:14 pm in reply to: Home page is not mobile-friendly according to Goolge. #672300Hi Emanuel.
I’ve just realised that several other pages are no mobile-friendly and cannot figure out a clear reason why. I’ve set the robots.txt file as recommended by one Moderator, in order o block the bots from indexing private content:
User-agent: *
Disallow: /wp-admin/
Disallow: /wp-includes/
Disallow: /cgi-bin/
Disallow: /wp-content/plugins/
Disallow: /wp-content/cache/
Disallow: /wp-content/themes/
Disallow: /*?*
Disallow: /*?The strange thing is that when you first tested some pages and told me they were mobile-friendly (you were right, btw), I still had the very robots.txt configuration, so it doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. Then I though it could be caused by the image sliders or the rotating titles, but now I see that some pages with these two feautres are not reported as mobile-unfrienly. Moreover, I’ve red the Google Webmaster guidelines various times but nothing seems to work.
I’ve also improved the page speed significantly lately, on the mobile version is at 70 right now, and desktop is 88. I’ve done throught the implementation of AUTOPTIMIZE, WP FASTEST CACHE, WP SMASH and WP OPTIMIZE. They all are proved to work well together.
Can you please advise me on this?

August 10, 2016 at 9:21 pm in reply to: Home page is not mobile-friendly according to Goolge. #671072Hey Guys,
I don’t mean to be a pain (though I know I’m), but after creating a new page and a couple of posts, Google is again reporting the very issue of not mobile-friendliness to my 2 main pages home (Casa) and blog (Blog CDM). Please any advice on this would be much appreciated.
Many thanks.

August 10, 2016 at 7:39 pm in reply to: Change Whatsapp icon colour and functionality – Fontello icon defective? #671049Hey,
The icon is invisible. It’s the fisrt one, right before FB.
Regarding the functionality, I was wondering if there’s a way to make the icon to trigger a phone call when cliked over?
Great thanks in advance!

August 3, 2016 at 6:19 am in reply to: Home page is not mobile-friendly according to Goolge. #667925Hi Emanuel,
Thanks for checking it out. Yes, in fact, I´ve spent the whole day trying to figure out the less “plugin-invassive” way to improve it, although I didn’t manage to get the performance % higher :( Nonetheless I’m content with the result so far.
I know this has nothing to do with you guys (your concerns must be theme-centred) but I’ll have to use the child theme for some customisations, so I was wondering if the implementation could affect my performance score? Since it consists of clearing as much code as possible (minify) and compressions here and there, will the child theme create any complications or will the optimizing plugins easily adapt to the “new theme” (child)?
Thanks a lot!
H.
Sure,
subdomain:
hache.casadelmedia.com
The thing that makes is suspicious is that I know the indexing is working good, cos’ I published some articles recently. By this time all those “index of” should have desappeared long ago.
Best,
hacart
Hey there!
I’ve added what you suggested above; however, Google is still indexing all of that stuff. I’ve recently added a subdomain and despite I tried to discourage it from happening, it did, so now there’s a long list of “index of” items on the results. Any more effective approach to this annoying matter, pls?
Great thanks!

June 29, 2016 at 11:00 am in reply to: Change drop down menu colour to a basic black transparent without a frame #654731Hey Vinay,
I tried various options with the code you provided, but none of them worked. It only changed the underlying color for every menu item – it turned it black (when transparent). I’ll place a link below to the exact result I need for the drop down menu. Thank you for your kind help btw.

Thanks for answering 1 and 2. I’ve already watched the video. That’s what questions 3 and 4 were placed here. Can you please clarify them?

Hey Andy,
The problem got solved. Many thanks.

Hey Jordan!
It worked magically, although I finally had to insert two different codes to make the icons BLACK on normal state and BLACK for hover effect. However unpractical it seems, I managed to get the result thanks to you. Great thanks!
Your solution…
.social_bookmarks_twitter a:hover {
background-color: #000000 !important;
}And the code that keeps then BLACK in normal state…
#top .social_bookmarks_twitter a {
color: black;
}The funny thing is that the second code did not apply for the TOP icons but only for the ones on the socket. The goal was accomplished, anyway. Thanks again!

The site is in a work-in-progress state and here´s the link…If placing the social icons on the footer area sound more reasonable, then I’ll appreciate your help with that as well.
Thank you!

Hi Basilis,
It worked! Many thanks. The trouble I find now is that it does not look perfectly centered. Any solution pls?
Cheers,

Hey,
Yes, the screenshot belongs to a website I’m working on presently. I just need the WIDGETS area to show ONE CENTRAL COLUMN and not the remains of the widgets on the sides. I’ve already deleted everything inside them all but the default information keeps showing up.
Regards,
HC
