solved by duplicating widget elements and selecting the language from each widget element

Thanks but in the checkout page the flag to accept terms and conditions should be visible as default, under the terms and conditions + privacy policy links. please check the following screenshot:

from WooCommerce > Settings > Account & Privacy > Privacy Policy you can’t set to show or hide the acceptance flag.

is there any other check I can do?

both add to cart and then go to checkout from the cart, and also PayPal button, gives the same result: in the checkout page, placeholders don’t disappear from the textbox, I’m using sandbox accounts to test the buying process, can it be a reason ?
