I put this
.my-custom-class .iconlist_icon:hover { background-color: red; }
in both the Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab and in the Custom Css Class in the IconList.
Still no change.
What am I doing wrong?This reply has been marked as private.May 24, 2014 at 8:41 am in reply to: Logo widget disappeared in new version and how do I remove the " #269459We’re halfway there! The Partner/Logo Element slider is the one at the very bottom, not at the top. Under “Angel Street works with the best”. When I went in and changed it from “slider” to “grid,” it appears, but it won’t as a “slider.”
Not sure what the previous version was. Sorry.
Thanks for the css — that worked perfectly.

I thought I had gone through all the steps for the thumbs regenerator, but I hadn’t. My bad.
Thanks for your patience and guidance through all of this. It’s much appreciated.
GaryI did the update, edited the code, and the installation of the thumbnail regenerator and nothing has changed.

Are you sure there’s nothing conflicting from all the styling adjustments you had me make? See below:
.team-img-container img { float: left; }
body .column-top-margin { margin-top: 1px; }
.content, .sidebar { padding-top: 10px; }
.template-page .big-preview a {
pointer-events: none;
}
.single-post .template-blog .blog-meta { display: none; }
.single-post .single-small.with-slider .small-preview { height: auto; }
.main_color .small-preview { background: transparent; }
.page-id-1336 .avia-content-slider .slide-image { min-height: 75px; }
.blog-meta a {
pointer-events: none !important;

You have to go to the Widgets page and put specific widgets in “Sidebar Blog”. If you don’t, it defaults to a list of “Pages”.
Maybe in the theme options, you should be able to specify what goes in the “Page Sidebar Navigation” in addition to turning it on/off or position.That’s not the fix I’m looking for.
That allows me to turn off the sidebar but I want the sidebar with specific widgets. How can I make that happen?Any updated thoughts about this?
Nah, that didn’t do it, either. http://fairfieldcounty.info/blog-2/angel-street-blog/
Here’s all the code, as suggested:
.team-img-container img { float: left; }
body .column-top-margin { margin-top: 10px; }
.content, .sidebar { padding-top: 10px; }
.template-page .big-preview a {
pointer-events: none;
}
.single-post .template-blog .blog-meta { display: none; }
.single-post .single-small.with-slider .small-preview { height: auto; }
.main_color .small-preview { background: transparent; }
.page-id-1336 .avia-content-slider .slide-image { min-height: 75px; }Thanks for your help on this. I really appreciate the extra lift you’re giving this issue.
Hmm…
Now, images are getting cut-off, like the Radio Advertising Bureau logo in the 2nd post, here:
http://fairfieldcounty.info/blog-2/angel-street-blog/
Thoughts?
I resized it but it didn’t change anything.Genius! Thank you. I get such great service from you folks.
Now…
Is there a way to keep the height/size of all the featured images the same? See http://fairfieldcounty.info/blog-2/blog-grid/ as an example.Any follow up thoughts?
gHmm, I tried the fix, but it didn’t work —
See: http://fairfieldcounty.info/trulia-is-advertising-on-internet-radio/
and you’ll see the icon is still there
and
http://fairfieldcounty.info/trulia-ads-on-internet-radio/
and you’ll see how the featured image doesn’t fit into the box.
So, what do you think?March 20, 2014 at 11:07 pm in reply to: Horizontal position of picture and tightenting up vertical spacing between eleme #240902Yigit,
Almost…
Look at http://fairfieldcounty.info/
The spacing fix seems to have affected the logo header and layered it over the nav bar elements.
What do you think?Brilliant!! Thank you.
Essentially, the typefaces that I call for in the Font and code sections show up on desktop browsers for Chrome and Firefox, but not when the slider is viewed on an iPad.
For example, I ask for “Oswald,” and it shows up ok on the desktop browsers but on an iPad it’s Times Roman.
Thoughts?Sorry, but that didn’t work. http://bluelobsterradio.us/?page_id=2474
What else could we try or should I just fake the effect by building a background box in P’shop?I’m sorry, but I’m not explaining this correctly. Doesn’t have anything to do with the logo.
Here’s the Dropbox link to the demonstration file:

Thanks.The link I sent you (in the prev. e) has all the screenshots in it. Are you able to open that?
The page in question is http://bluelobsterradio.us/?page_id=2474 (note: it’s a demo page)
Thanks for any help you can lend!This reply has been marked as private.Devin, it seems like a good idea, but not working as we’d planned or as simple as hoped.
It does constrain the images, but only to a certain degree. Works better on rectangular images but not on square ones.
The Shortcode options don’t show up in the magic wand, only dropcap and font icon.
It’s also too “tech’y” for our editors. Is there another, simpler solution? Maybe a photo editor plug-in?
If not, just let me know and I’ll find a way around it.
GDevin, on its face, this seems like a good idea. Thanks for doing that for us.
Before I try it, can I ask a couple of questions?
Where I see <your image>, does that mean the url of the image?
And does that mean the image will automatically resize? Remember, that’s the most important component of this setup — the editors don’t have any way to edit photos and I don’t see anything in the theme that allows us to do that easily, but I could be missing something.
Look forward to your thoughts. You’re the best!
