Rikard, I can think of several reason why I would need them inside a layout element. Just to name one such sample, the attach illustration (which is something I actually will need to do on some pages) shows it.
Layout element’s are Enfold’s features and as such, I don’t understand why Enfold is dropping the
<br>
in there.Is there a solution?
Thank you Rikard. I hope it resolves this annoying issue.
July 7, 2017 at 3:18 pm in reply to: Content Element > Icon > How can I align a few icons side by side? #817877Hello Rikard,
It is inside a 1/1 as an example. I changed the sample from 1/1 to 3/4 just to show you the issue persists. Any solutions?
Cheers,
GabrielHello Victoria,
Your message is from the end of March. After over three months, could we not get an update to this plugin if we have an Enfold license? This is rather annoying for a known issue.

Thank you for the prompt reply! Info attached.
Please, if possible, avoid turning off plugins. I’ve already removed those I considered potentially responsible for the problem.
Cheers,
GabrielJuly 6, 2017 at 1:56 am in reply to: Content Element > Icon > How can I align a few icons side by side? #816979Hello Rikard,
You are correct, the <BR> are causing the problem. However, I am not inserting them! It is either ENFOLD or WP doing the did :(
I have tried a million things and finally figured out that the problem happens when I have the icon elements inside a layout element. Please see this sample:
Any suggestions, please?!

My admin changed servers to correct the issue. Please close this thread. Thank you!
BTW, the upload worked OK and the file is in the Media Library. Just fails to install.
Just for anyone interested, I did use a great guy from Codeable.io: https://codeable.io/developers/zeshan-ahmed/ and the work went very smoothly.
For now the link to view the results (Color Section, where the Header) is on a dev server: http://dev.mediabox.ca/3/
but he final URL for future reference is: http://pijaccanada.com
June 7, 2017 at 7:45 pm in reply to: WPML translated pages do not feature Avia Layout Builder #805246Hello Yigit and all,
I am working on a bilingual site right now, and using both Enfold and WPML.
Before I go through all the trouble of translating all defaults to French (for example, on blog pages, things like “Recent Posts, Leave a Reply, Post a Comment”, etc., I was wondering if anyone had a translated version I can somehow import into my theme (if this is even doable).
I have google it here and on WPML without much success, and it seems it would be crazy for each person needing a French version to make their own.
I am assuming there must be the equivalent of “localization” or such, to just have the defaults into a second language, no?
All advice and pointer much appreciated!
PS. The video link above is ace!

June 7, 2017 at 5:18 pm in reply to: Using non-breaking spaces *` `* and single line break *“'s* #805189Thank you for the thoughtful reply Ismael. With a little more research, I can see that both problems are indeed with WordPress and not the Enfold theme.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/toggle-wpautop/ is a good option for the
<BR>
problem and I will investigate it.As for the
issue, I found an option here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/automatic-nbsp/…is neither ideal nor perfect, but it will help (and want to share it because it might help others, too).
Here are some examples in which it is super useful:

June 7, 2017 at 4:27 am in reply to: Using non-breaking spaces *` `* and single line break *“'s* #804815Hello Ismael, thank you for your reply. I think you might be missing the point; I *need* to use
and<br>
from time to time. They are not “html markup that is not necessary” most of the time. I can understand how it might seem that way but that isn’t always the case. When text reflows (particularly true when formatting text that will reflow on mobile devises), you can end up with something looking really badly if you use returns rather than the appropriate character/solution.
and<br>
are typographic necessities. The question remains, is there a way to ensure I can keep
and<br>
when I need them?Thank you in advance for your help!
PS. How do you end up with two lines when adding the text “K1N 5G4” and “1 000 000”?
When either or ends up at the end of the line. The problem with returns, again, is that it can screw things up when presented on other devices or if the user does not have the same typeface as specified available in their system.June 6, 2017 at 11:33 pm in reply to: Using non-breaking spaces *` `* and single line break *“'s* #804745Is anyone looking into this? It has been a few days since I created the account and all the documentation for you.

June 3, 2017 at 7:13 pm in reply to: Using non-breaking spaces *` `* and single line break *“'s* #803441Hello John,
Info attached in the Private Content box.
I imagine I do not need to tell you this, but just in case… Even though I make frequent backups, please be very careful as I have several weeks of work on this project.
FYI, as far as I can tell the problem does not seem to be plugin related, so if you can please avoid turning off plugins.
Thank you in advance!
Thank you Yigit,
Not the best option, but I appreciate the recommendation.
Would you please be able to suggest someone who could help me edit the theme as a child, to achieve this without modifying the theme files?
PS. I will also include it in the future request for other’s to up-vote if they find it useful.
May 23, 2016 at 4:38 am in reply to: Can't create blank spaces using tags like non-brakeable-space or BR tags #636517I see Ismael. That would make sense, but what gets me is that WP is not handling it consistently. Some times the BRs stick and sometimes they don’t (same with the non-braking-space).
Yes, using a random class works. Thank you!
May 20, 2016 at 4:20 am in reply to: Can't create blank spaces using tags like non-brakeable-space or BR tags #635661Hi Vinay,
I fear the plugin does not do the trick. I can make another movie to show you if you like, but the results are identical whether I insert th code my hand or using the plugin :(
May 20, 2016 at 2:19 am in reply to: Can't create blank spaces using tags like non-brakeable-space or BR tags #635622Hi Vinay,
I will give the plugin a try and report the results. Thank you!
May 19, 2016 at 9:27 pm in reply to: Can't create blank spaces using tags like non-brakeable-space or BR tags #635548PS. I will revert the changes to the php file to avoid future conflict.
May 19, 2016 at 9:26 pm in reply to: Can't create blank spaces using tags like non-brakeable-space or BR tags #635547Hello Basilis,
I spend a few minutes trying that and it does not work.
Now, I don’t mean to be rude, but you guys have asked me for admin rights and I gave them to you. I have even made a movie to show you the problem! Can you please test your propose solution before you ask me to do it? Otherwise we are just wasting time.
PS. I do appreciate you are trying to help, but please don’t ask me to create an account and send you specific info and links to the problem if you are going to ignore the work.
May 19, 2016 at 7:12 pm in reply to: Can't create blank spaces using tags like non-brakeable-space or BR tags #635429Hello Vinay,
I run a few tests and sure enough, it is not something that happens all the time.
I duplicated the page where it happens and called it TEST so that you can full around with it (just in that page, please)
I have also made a movie so that you can see me doing the change and how it is not kept: http://dev2.mediabox.ca/test.mov
The other info you requested under “Private Content” attached.
Hello Ismael. That does the trick! Thank you so much.
Sure thing. You can view it here:
If you roll-over the thumbnails in the centre column you’ll see that all is OK, but if you roll-over the thumbnails on either the first or third column, you will see that as soon as the tooltip box has more than one line of text, the little triangle is misaligned.
- This reply was modified 8 years, 8 months ago by GabrielSenn.
This is a great tip! Thank you.
Now… What CSS should be edited so that the arrow (little triangle) stays at the top of the tooltip, when the tooltip has more than one line of text?
Here’s what I mean:
Regular one line arrow/triangle on top of tooltip: http://dev2.mediabox.ca/sampleissues/correct.png
Problem with multi-line copy, arrow/triangle stuck in the middle of the tooltip: http://dev2.mediabox.ca/sampleissues/incorrect.png
Thank you in advance!
March 21, 2016 at 5:49 pm in reply to: Menu indicator for child (or sub) pages. How can I make this work? #601410That worked flawlessly!
Thank you Yigit.
Hello Ismael, thank you for your attempt, but please note that this was already suggested above by Digit and it doesn’t work. I have even provided a sample of what happened when I do that in a new post right after his “solution”, (I’ll copy and paste at the end of this one to save you time looking).
Guys, it has been over two weeks since I first ask for help and you don’t seem to be reading your own answers or testing the proposed solutions. PLEASE HELP?
I apologize in advance for my boldness, but I am very frustrated at the fact that it takes so long to get answers.
Good idea Yigit, but while this kind of works, it cuts the socket short if the page content is not very long.
Here’s what I mean: http://dev.mediabox.ca/sample.pngEDIT: Please note that you have asked me to create an admin account for you, which I took the time to do. Perhaps you can use it to test your next proposed solution before you reply.

March 16, 2016 at 7:26 pm in reply to: Masonry > Element Title and Excerpt > 1px misalignment at bottom #599139It seems I am the only one that can reproduce the problem (since your last message I’ve asked other mac users and they don’t have the issue either). So… Yes, we should call it fixed.
Thanks again!
