Strange – Came up for me fine – can you please try again? thanks
This reply has been marked as private. This reply has been marked as private. That second one jacked things up…
Thanks Ismael – I added the code and purged my browser cache – still see double events: https://www.crossroadspca.net/events/month/
Any other ideas?
Martin
And I just replicated the issue with the twentytwenty theme – so it may not be the theme after all. I’m also investigating with my provider…
Thanks Yigit. I set things back to http via phpMyAdmin.
I deleted the theme files and uploaded a new fresh copy I grabbed from themeforest. Once I did that I changed back to https. Issue persists…
I am running a “child theme, but the style and functions file for that child theme are “empty”. I did try making the change by using the actual enfold theme and the issue persists.
I also disabled all plugins and the issue persists.
Ismael, yes, I purchased an SSL certificate through my provider and it’s already set up. You can access the site at https://www.crossroadspca.net – you’ll see the valid certificate in place.
If I change the wordpress general settings to “https” instead of “http” that’s when the issue arises. If I change the theme to one of the wordpress default themes the issue goes away.
Thank you!
Ismael,
I disabled Enfold, enabled one of the default WordPress themes (2019); I then downloaded the plugin from the developer (https://layerslider.kreaturamedia.com/) and re-imported the slider that is giving me issues and activated it on a page – http://www.liammacoco.com/video-test-page/ It works as expected.
I enabled Enfold again, and the slider is now broken.
Looks like an Enfold theme issue…
Thanks Ismael.
I contacted them first; they told me to contact you. I’ve imported several of their demos with no issues.
I’ll reach out to them again.Ismael,
I’ve checked on Chrome on my MAC and Chrome and Edge on my PC. Same results. The demo looks great in either machine.
My imported version looks nothing like the demo – Videos work, but styling is all wrong.
Other imported sliders look fine (although I have not tried all of their templates, just a handful)…
BTW – I have done nothing to the slider after import.

Thanks again Victoria; Just went through the thread; I looked at the file referenced by Josue, but it does not have the code he mentions. There is no “slides” variable…
Also – all my other sliders work, it’s just this one the is not functioning properly.
Thanks for checking Victoria. I just updated to php 7 and still see the same issue…
Thanks Victoria – credentials in private content box.
Thank you Victoria; that did it :-)
Thanks Rikard; Unfortunately that did not work either.
Jordan; yes it on the top; I also cleared cache and tried on a completely different computer. same issue.
Thanks Rikard, it did not work. I cleared browser cache to make sure
YOu can close the topic. I’ll open a new one with a different questions. Thanks again!
You’re good. Not sure how that even got there…
Thank you for the help.
M
Try again…
Thank you Rikard, info attached
Rikard, one question – I have the grid rows set up to span 100% of the screen height. On one column I have a single content item – social icon row – that I’d like to align to the bottom. Is there an easy way to do that?
Thank you Rikard; That got me on the right track; I appreciate the nudge.
Bummer; I’ll give it a shot and see if I can get it to work.
Thanks Jordan – see this linked image http://www.frescova.com/cing.jpg
OK, so now I feel like a “dumb ass” :-D
Thanks for checking and helping me identify the obvious – I probably started at the categories screen for 5 hours trying to figure it out. smh…
