Thank you. I knew where the burger menu option was, but it was putting it in the menu bar. But I have it sorted now. Thanks!
December 1, 2022 at 5:12 am in reply to: Layerslider images not positioned where they were set #1374556I tried disabling just the CSS and script compression in Autoptimize and that didn’t work. But when I deactivated the plugin, it works correctly now. Thanks!

Here’s a screenshot of the page live with the images bunched up in the top left corner:
Here’s a screenshot of the images where they’re supposed to be in the editor and live preview inside the Layerslider editor:
I got it fixed. I think I was using the wrong Uxxx code. Once I fixed that in the CSS and the functions.php file, it appeared. :)
I looked at that link above and I solved the issue for my Icon Boxes, however, the reference in that link for Animated Numbers is the exact same path and PHP file. I believe the correct shortcode for the animated numbers is /enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/numbers/numbers.php, and then the line referenced is correct at 631.

I think there were some other sections with .home that were also affecting it. We built this site so long ago, I did not even remember any of that custom CSS. It was in the CSS file, Appearance>Editor> theme css file, not in quick CSS. I found them and removed them and now it seems to be ok on both mobile and desktop.
Thanks!
January 31, 2020 at 5:01 pm in reply to: Remove sidebar from post for use Enfold with WP Courseware #1180293I know this post is really old, but it looked liked it was still open. I found a code snippet on the WP Courseware support site about adding sidebar support for the Genesis theme. I imagine we could do the same for Enfold support. Here is a screenshot of the support page with the code snippet: https://www.screencast.com/t/OMJdDT1k
Here is a screenshot of a Unit in WP Coureware that shows the options on the right. There is no Sidebar support like with normal pages or posts. https://www.screencast.com/t/QeoFNBQdM
Thanks!

Thanks! Yes it looks great now. I’ll check with the host for the permissions.
You can close it. Thanks!
Thanks Rikard, that worked. I added margin-top:-20px !important; to move it up a little more.
Hi John,
Details provided below.
Thanks!
Thank you for your quick response. Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. That worked! Actually, I had that line in my CSS, but it did not have the !important tag. Adding that fixed it.
If you see my post before yours, I mentioned that I renamed all the plugins, and I still cannot login. The only time it works, is if I also rename the Enfold and Enfold-child theme. I have also uploaded a completely new Enfold file. Once I rename them, I can login. then once I rename them back, if I am logged in to admin, I can select the Enfold Child and my site is ok and working, I can move around admin screens, however, if I log out and back in, the screen is blank again.
I tried activating 2017 theme and log out and back in, and it is ok. It works. It is something to do with the theme. It is a live site, so I cannot leave it as 2017 theme for you to gain access.
There is no custom items in style.css or functions.php. I have not added anything.
Any other suggestions?
Where is the login page styler coming from? I only have a few plugins, and I don’t see that one from FTP / cPanel File Manager. I renamed each plugin folder one at a time and still received the blank page.
Hi,
I’m having the same problem. I have a child theme. I renamed my ‘enfold’ folder to enfold-old and uploaded a new enfold.zip. I tried to log in again to admin screen, still blank. :(
Please help. Thanks! http://phxtechsol.com

December 4, 2016 at 9:50 pm in reply to: Home Page Side Bar Elements being Pushed below the page #720245For me, it was ‘Ultimate Facebook’ by WPMUDEV that was causing mine to be pushed down. Hopefully that saves someone some time figuring out which one it is for you.
I see it now. I just deleted a mu-plugins directory and it started showing. So perhaps it was something to do with the Pagely CDN and their plugin. It still does not show on that url, but it is showing on my dev url. :)
Thanks!
Ok, that is interesting. I am in the process of migrating the site from Pagely to my other host. I will need to research that. I just saw that error message when I posted in here.
However, the image is also not showing on the original Pagely site: http://azcommercialphotographer.com/
That worked! Thanks so much!

April 20, 2016 at 8:10 am in reply to: Is it possible to create a custom border around an EasySlider element #618038I added the function as recommended. Then I also added the Custom CSS as recommended, changing the example to my custom class. I added it in the easy slider here: http://screencast.com/t/g6f6fI5H04
It is not showing on the home page Easy Slider.
Do I need to add it to .avia-slideshow?
Thanks!

April 20, 2016 at 2:42 am in reply to: Is it possible to create a custom border around an EasySlider element #617884Thank you! I have added two options. I don’t think this will be the final, but once I find out how to do it, I should be able to swap a different one if necessary.

March 2, 2016 at 8:25 pm in reply to: Enfold Page Template crashing – losing content on page #592284I’m just another user like you, but I could try and look at it. I finally got mine fixed. Do you have an HTML editing software like Dreamweaver? I think I pasted my raw text into Dreamweaver and found some errors to fix and that fixed the problem. I think I also temporarily placed a phpinfo.php file in the root directory to view my statistics for my environment. I updated some settings using php.ini file.
I navigated to http://www.novastudio.nl/home to view site. It look very nice. Well done.
Update: I fixed the problem. I still don’t know exactly what caused it, but there must have been a corrupt slide. There were 6 slides. I deleted all but the first one, then clicked Save, and it saved ok. Then I added back the others, and saved, and it was all ok.
Thanks!
Hello,
Unfortunately it is still not fixed. The strange characters are gone after update, however, when I try to update or add a slide, and click save, it just keeps saying ‘saving…’ If I navigate away and come back, nothing was saved. I am at version 5.6.2. I checked another fresh install of another site and it is also 5.6.2 straight from Enfold with no updates and it is working perfectly fine. How can I debug this? I think it might be a permissions problem, but I don’t know how to test for it.
Thanks for any help you can give!
-Fred
I think I got it solved. I uploaded the config-layerslider directory again and overwrote files. It seems to be working.
I realized when I was posting my credentials, that this field could not be blank. But I did not see the error about the field being empty. I see that the credentials show in the private data section of the last post. Are you able to help now? These guys are really anxious to update their slider. :-)
Thanks!
See info attached in private area.
Hi,
I sent credentials. Have you had a chance to look at it yet. Let me know if you need anything else from me.
Thanks!
-Fred
I didn’t update it, but perhaps someone else that is allowed in as admin did it. :(
How do I delete it and try again? I recently had issue with the Enfold auto-update, so I manually updated the theme, by uploading the latest version of Enfold.zip and then unpacked it on the server.
I have a child theme to protect changes from updates.
