Thank You Rikard, its no longer cut off.
Could you please let me now if there is way to change the H1 text on mobile view? I’d like it to be smaller.
    Many thanks,
    Ellen

    Hi Rikard,

Could you please let me know where to change this code? I’ve only ever added css to the Quick CSS section before but I cant see the code you have mentioned?
    Many thanks,
    Ellen

Hi Victoria, thank you for sending this over, unfortunately adding it to quick CSS didn’t work and I cant figure out the other path you sent. In answer to your question, yes the text was copied from Word editor – does this cause a problem?
I didn’t have any problems building my last site with Enfold and Site Builder but I’m not getting very far with this one. I might have to end up paying someone to finish it (which I haven’t budgeted for) which is rather frustrating . No one from Enfold or Site Builder will tell me if their elements have changed since last summer when I built my last site which is frustrating as I don’t know why it seems harder to change things like paragraph text fonts or add PDFs as links to text boxes. I’ve done it before but the options don’t seem there this time.

For example I would like the main chunk of paragraph text on my home page to be Adria Gomez Luthier – one of the fonts I’ve imported.
    Many thanks,

Hi Basilis, I’m afraid I don’t know what you mean by serve? I’m just a small business building a website from my laptop. Perhaps I’ve asked too many questions. Could you please start by letting me know how you change the font for the paragraph text?

Hi Nikko, I’m afraid I don’t have FTP access, I just use wi-fi. My main problem is that I’ve installed 2 new font which I would like to use but when assigned to an area (H2, etc) they are not being implemented and I cant see the option to change the paragraph font. I can add my login details and if you can see where the problem lies this would be great.

I’m afraid these instructions are too advanced for me. I have no idea what the child theme is or how to do half the instructions. this is quite frustrating as I’ve built a website via Enfold in the past because of its ease and now it seem much more difficult.

in reply to: Uploaded fonts not working #988950

    Hi Victoria,
The two fonts I’ve uploaded are the ones used in my logo design. I’ve tried assigning the font for the 2nd line of text in the logo to the menu font and also to my H2 tag. I’ve assigned the other font HARRIETS TABLE to my H1 tag but they aren’t appearing. How do I change the paragraph font as this doesn’t seem to be in the list in advanced styling?
Also, if you go into my home page and click on the text box, there doesn’t seem to be many buttons in the text box. If I highlight text, I have no way of knowing whether is H1, H2 etc. I’m sure all this data used to be present when I’ve used Enfold in the past. It seems much harder to use than in the past and I’m not sure why. I would really like to be able to implement these fonts as I’ve got them in my brand logo.
When you say there are different classes per font, how do I get to see them to select the one I want? I’ve seen tutorials on people implementing imported fonts in WordPress but their screens look different to what I’m seeing in Enfold.
Any tutorials/videos would be appreciated or if you can see the difficulty I’m having by going into my text box editor.

    Many thanks,

    Ellen

I think its possibly changed since the last Enfold update as I’ve checked my other site and there are less elements to the text box on there also. It seems to be coinciding with me not being able to us my 2 recently uploaded fonts.

in reply to: Uploaded fonts not working #988592

Hi, I can also see them in the drop down list. They are the two at the bottom. The problem I have is that when I assign them to a section e.g. H1, H3 and then use that element in the text boxes, I’m not seeing the font. Its not being implemented. Are you able to see why?
    Many thanks,
    Ellen

Hi Victoria, Please can you try the new login I’ve supplied. I’ve added Luthier and IM Fell English. If you do get in with my login, could you please check the text box editor – it seems to have less buttons than I remember it should have.

The fonts I’ve uploaded are also not working. I’ve managed to find them on the list in the advanced styling but they don’t change when selected. Please help

Please could you come back to me ASAP on this problem as my site is due to launch tomorrow?
    Many thanks,

in reply to: Cant add the Enfold theme to WordPress #987434

All fixed now. I found the answer on another thread. You cant upload the full file, its just one section you need to upload. All fixed

in reply to: Cant add the Enfold theme to WordPress #986101

Am I right in thinking that this should work via WordPress upload? As I’m sure that’s how I did it less than a year ago when I made my last wordpress site. Is there anything I could be doing wrong? I saw on one discussion board it mentioned opening up the zip file and only uploading a certain section – could this be right?

Hi, can you please let me know when the Instagram Widget will be fixed. It’s not worked for quite a few months and I don’t feel confident changing the link as mentioned in this thread (I cant figure out what to change and enfold tells me I shouldn’t be changing the code in the Editor). I don’t want to make a mistake and end up ruining my site. I chose Enfold for the fact its a template so I didn’t have to pay a web designer but I feel I’m going to have to pay someone to get Instagram on my page.

    Hi Rikard,
I have 2 new questions I cant seem to find the answer to..
1 – My images are a bit too big when viewed on mobiles – the Hire Collection ones on the home page – http://www.vintageflair.co.uk. Is there code that can fix this?

2 – My H2 text is also a bit too big when viewed on mobiles?

    Many thanks,

    Ellen

in reply to: Logo as svg #872591

Its starting to sound very confusing! My logo design is SVG and included the text but including the text it wont upload into Enfold – it comes up saying it cant be cleansed.

in reply to: Logo as svg #872491

Slowly getting there. The plugin suggested said it wasn’t compatible so I’ve used another which has worked. However, my logo had text underneath (Vintage Tableware Hire Service) which it wont upload as SVG. I’ve uploaded the logo (which it will allow) and now need to add the text under the logo in the header. I’ve come across this but I have no idea where to add the code? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/adding-a-widget-area-to-the-header/
It says PHP files but there are loads of them in the editor. Could you please tell me where this needs to be pasted so I can set up the text widget?

in reply to: Logo as svg #866139

Is there a specific plug in you would recommend?

in reply to: Adding a price list #864766

Don’t worry, I’ve had a play around and its all fixed.

in reply to: Adding a price list #864755

Thank you for the code. Its changed the headers of the blog posts but the date info is still in light grey. Is it possible to also change this?

in reply to: Adding a price list #864182

I’m not sure why the link didn’t work.

in reply to: Adding a price list #863924

    Thank Rikard,
Here is the site I’m building /
I’ve figured out how to change the black squares to blog images but still cant figure out how to make the font in the widget white. Is there code for this?
I’ll have another go at adding the price list in using 1/3 elements.
    Many thanks,
