    Hi there,
    thank you for your hints.
I am not an expert of the Rank Math SEO so I felt quite at a loss, but, while browsing the different settings I finally bumped into one that said “Disable archive dates (if this option is disabled archive dates will be redirected to the homepage”. So I imagined that was probably the culprit. In fact, when I disabled the option, the archive links started to work fine.
Thank you for trying to help.

    Hello,
the Permalink procedure did not change anything.
I have found out that the problem is the Rank Math SEO plugin. If it is deactivated, the month archives display regularly.
The strange thing though is that, when the plugin is deactivated, the problem is shifted to the article category links, which redirect to the homepage.
    So, to sum up:
    – Rank MathSEO plugin activated: articles category link working, articles monthly archive not working
    – Rank MathSEO plugin deactivated: viceversa
I guess that has to do with some settings in the plugin. Any suggestions?

    Best regards,
    Elena

    Hi Mike,
thanks for adjusting the functions file to show the images. That is fine.

About the excerpts: so you mean if I do not put any text in the summary box then an excerpt of the article text itself should be shown? (what you call auto excerpts). I have tried that, but if I leave the summary box empty, then no text at all is shown. Just want to make sure I understand how that works.

    Elena

    Hi Ismael,
    thank you for the reply.
I have added the css. The text turns into italics but the category does not disappear. I have also deflagged the option to show the category in the Blog Layout section. The category actually does not appear if I turn the general blog style into default. But it shows if I use “elegant”.
About the photo, the single article style is set to “single post with small featured image”, but the image does not show in the category page, whatever blog style I use. It shows in the article page, though it is not small but normally quite large. I can see no other settings attaining to images in the Blog Layout section.

The excerpt that is showing at present is the summary text (the text added in the summary box at the bottom of the article page in the back end). I was wondering if it was possible to show a few lines of the article text itself after the summary, not the whole text.

in reply to: Full screen slider height #1496329

    Hi Ismael,
I am not sure what image you are talking about because when checking the dimensions of the uploaded images of the two pages in the media library they both were bigger than what you mention.
Anyhow, I have cut and resized the images to respect the 16:7 proportions and they now look rather ok. It all depends though on how large the browser window is. If I enlarge the window some parts get cut out, but I guess that’s normal.
    Thank you for your help.

    Yes, that’s fine. Thank you

in reply to: Making the logo bigger #1496186

I understand now. That works. Thank you

in reply to: Making the logo bigger #1496180

Should I remove the css? If I do, the header is larger but the logo does not enlarge

in reply to: Making the logo bigger #1496173

    Hi,
I have been able to set max height at 200px, changed that in the css too and the logo looked bigger at the start and shrunk when scrolling, but it did not shrink as much as before. It remained rather large, which I did not like, so I switched it back to 150px.
About the burger menu I have the following two choices: “activate for smartphones and tablets (browser width below 990px) or “activate for smartphones only (browser width below 768). Should I select the second one?

I have tried to add the css in your last message but it doesn’t seem to change anything.

in reply to: Making the logo bigger #1496149

ok the logo now shrinks. I am not sure where the start height options can be set. It would be good if it was bigger than 150 at the start.
I don’t understand what you mean by your latest suggestion, sorry.

in reply to: Making the logo bigger #1496144

Hi Guenni007, the shrink option is already activated.

in reply to: Making the logo bigger #1496127

    Hi Mike,
that looks great, thank you. Just enough to make it clearer.
I may also use the shrinking option as suggested by Guenni007. I did not even know there was one. But if I do the logo itself does not shrink, it gets partially hidden in the upper part and partially overlays the page in the lower part. I do like the effect somewhat though.

I also tried to use the other option of enlarging the logo as suggested by Guenni to see what it looked like. I added the text to the functions.php file but it did not work.

in reply to: removing space between two colour sections #1495946

    Hi Ismael,
    thank you.
    It’s all clear to me.

Just wanted to let you know that, when I click on the link I land on the Freeimage website but the image is not shown (the image space is black) and if I click on the download button, I get a page which says the website I am trying to reach contains child pornography content and therefore has been blocked by the Italian Public Security Dpt.

    Best regards,
    Elena

    Hi Mike,
thank you! I had checked margins and paddings but had missed that!

By the way, I cannot see any image at the link you provide.

    Best regards,
    Elena

    Hi Mike,
well done. That’s fine, thank you.

    Hi Mike,
    that looks great thank you!
I would only increase the padding just a little bit below/above the logo. Is that possible?

    Best regards,
    Elena

    Hello Ismael,
    thank you for your help.
I did manage to eliminate the transparency. I just did not know you could set that in the page itself.

I added the css. It did center the menu, but not the logo, which remains on the left.
    Anything else I can try?

    Best regards,
    Elena

in reply to: video link not working #1494988

    Hi Ismael,
I went on my homepage right now and the video seems to working properly.
The page now contains both the code block and the video content element. Should I remove the second?
    Thank you very much

in reply to: video link not working #1494932

    Hi Ismael,
    thank you for the reply.
I have allowed embedding for the video, but still it does not work. What else can I do?

in reply to: video link not working #1494825

    Hi Rikard,
I have tried but it does not work either. When I click on the arrow the URL appears on the top left side of the video cover and if I click on it, it will open the video on YouTube in another tab.

in reply to: responsive column #1468721

Thanks, now the problem on mobile is fixed!

in reply to: responsive column #1468626

yes it is a possible solution if that is what makes it unresponsive… How can I do it? By adding some code or with other settings on the block at the class level? I ask you for support here too thanks :)

in reply to: responsive column #1468573

I upload the screenshot of what happens to the non-responsive column I’m talking about… on the page I indicated services and I put the credentials in a field (I think private) so you can access the backend to check the settings of the element that doesn’t respect the responsiveness rules.
we would like the columns to be stacked one under the other when moving

    Thanks
