hi Yigit,
I finally got it – I can’t believe I didn’t see it before… in my defence I’m not a programmer so it takes me a while to wrap my head around it :)
Many Thanks for all your help
GraceThanks Yigit,
I’ve managed to add the option for the CSS field but I’m not sure how to add custom class to each box.
I know it is a very stupid question but for the above code to work what to I put in the CSS field? This is what I used but it isn’t working as all the icons have reverted to redafi-iconbox-col-1 to the field and then
.custom-class-afi-iconbox-col-1 .iconbox_icon { background-color: orange !important; } to the Quick CSS
Josue,
Thank you so much for your help on this!! Its exactly what way I wanted it – I knew I was doing something stupid!
This reply has been marked as private.Can this also be used to just change the colour of the icons and borders?
Thanks Josue,
Yes – I’ve done that – do they need to be a specific size or ratio.
In the enfold theme options I’ve selected Single Author, Small preview Pic.
Is there another option I should be clicking?
Thanks
Thanks Yigit –
That seems to have worked. I’m going to check it on a few different computers but it looks perfect on my screen.Thank you Flikk for these – That works perfectly. And thank you for those links!
Do you have any advice regarding the thickness of the sidebar? Is there a way to make it thinner and keep the responsiveness?
Many Thanks
ElementMany Thanks for this…
I’m sorry if I was a bit unclear in my explanation – I want to be able to increase the font/colour of the sidebar menu – I’ll have a play around with the CSS but I’m not very good with coding. Could you supply the coding for the sidebar and I could change the colours/font sizes myself. If there is a charge for this we would be happy to go ahead.
Also, I need to be able make the width of the sidebar smaller/thinner. I found a post in the forum asking for something similar but when I tried it, it looked fine on my screen but when I checked it on a different computer it had actually gotten wider and filled the majority of the page. I’m not sure what I did wrong…
@media only screen and (min-width: 1340px) {
.responsive_large .container .nine.units {
width: 830px;
}}
@media only screen and (min-width: 1140px) {
.responsive .container .nine.units {
width: 720px;
}}
.container .nine.units {
width: 630px;2. What I mean is I would like to separate each heading in the sidebar with a small line (similar to the sidebar in the wordpress.org site (http://wordpress.org/plugins/)
Many Thanks for the links on learning more CSS – I will definitely be reading up on this but I really need help in the mean time so any code you could provide would be really helpful.
Kind Regards

Thank you so much for your help! It looks great!
April 24, 2014 at 6:46 pm in reply to: Changing colour of Top Menu Bar and Height allowance for logo #255674Thanks a million Yigit,
That worked perfectly! One last quick question, if I wanted the font colour in the bar to be white so you can see it clearer do I change that in the Quick CSS too? And is there a code to have the rollover state be red text on white background?
I think this is probably more a beginners coding question but if it is handy for you to send through a code I can copy across I would really appreciate it..
I will probably be able to figure it out (eventually. . . through trial and error!!!) but as I said earlier – I’m not the best with coding :)Thank you again for all your help and speedy responses.

I just tried that but nothing happens – I’ve managed to fix the height allowance for the logo but the colour is still giving me issues.
Thank you for your help on this – I appreciate the speedy feedback.
The site is http://www.agefriendlyireland.com/wordpress.Thanks
GraceThis reply has been marked as private.I’m having a similar problem – I’ve deactivated all the running plugins but nothing happens when I click “Edit Element” Any other solutions?
Thanks
GraceThanks Devin,
That seems to have done the trick!!!
Thanks Ismael,
I’ve activated the plugin but when I click woocommerce>settings the screen goes completely blank. I have no access to dashboard or page and there is no activity.
