Thank you so much, I appreciate your help.
Yes of course, see below
Well, there are so many things I’d like to achieve in terms of the header
For example, just look at a few of the header samples and all the capability the XTRA theme has:
When I have a local client, and CTA’s need to be in the Header, Enfold is just too cumbersome to create a custom header and change it around.
So I just wondered if more header customization might be in the works for the future, mainly because I prefer to use Enfold, but must choose other themes sometimes when I need more flexibility and ease in that area of the site.
I do believe you are brilliant! Thank you Thank you!
Question, is it in the works at all for Enfold to make Header Option changes, like the ability to make a custom header just like you can for the footer?
Oh my gosh, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate all of your help with this! (you must have a special place in your heart for the Holy Land?
Thank you , Thank You, !!!
I didn’t do the section part, with two rows – so if they do come up with more tours, your suggesting I place new tours right under same column right?
I honestly can’t tell you how much I appreciate all of your help!

May 19, 2021 at 5:17 pm in reply to: Product Layout – Minimal Overlay with Centered Text – Can we keep text on hover? #1301229That’s awesome, thank you so much!
You can close it.
You ar right, it seems to have gone away, I apologize!
Okay, so I see the theme is still at 4.6.2, so I guess I don’t understand. It worked but you reverted it back?
You want me to “Export Theme Settings File” in the existing Child Theme, then do it again?
And did you use the new version that I had on the server or did you upload your own, or use the Theme Update option under Enfold Child Theme Options?

April 12, 2021 at 11:11 pm in reply to: Logo Center with Button on Left (Header Widget) & Hamburger Menu on Right #1294004Hi,
1. Okay your code works to center the logo on a desktop, with the hamburger icon on the right. However, the header area is not then responsive and the logo gets cut off on a mobile phone. I have temporarily placed my left button widget in a Widget Area called “Header Widget Holding Area”, until I can make the header responsive.
2. I have a transparent header, is there a way to make the background of the menu area black upon scroll instead of remaining transparent? It’s set to black in General Styling and typically I believe Enfold does that, not sure why it isn’t working on this site.
3. The Menu overlay slide-out is not taking on the styling that I’ve given it in Enfold Child > Advanced Styling . I’ve added a red background to the menu itmes upon hover, but it doesn’t appear, which brings me to #5, the theme is outdated, could that be why?
4. This is an older Enfold site that someone gave me, I didn’t build it, but I told them to buy Enfold and update the theme, which I’ve tried to do for them, manually (renamed named original version _old and kept it, and the new _new) but it breaks the site every time. I now have “Enfold_new” and I reverted back to their older version because I can’t make it work. Might you have any thoughts on this. The old version that works is 4.6.2 and that’s what they are running now.
I am so sorry for so much

Thank you, that did help, I figured out what to do.
hmmmm… that helped some, but the font sizes are all wrong and it didn’t change the menu items. Maybe I’ll have to choose another font.
March 29, 2021 at 8:41 pm in reply to: Border (line) Color on "Heading Style Elegant (centered, optional icon) #1291148I found a css solution, thank you.
Okay, I just updated my php[ version and made some changes to the wp-config, think it’s all set now.
Thank you

Thank you, there was apparently one more check mark in the hosting plan to make it work. I got it, thanks so much!
Hi Nikko,
Thanks for your input. I did enable the archive extension within the hosting program, but it did not solve the problem. See screenshot attached.
I’m still getting a server error message.
Any other suggestions?
Her’es the screenshot showing that the Archive_Zip PHP Extension is Installed:

But, although it is in your list, when I change my heading font, it does not change to copperplate, so I found something simlar called Balthazar, which is what I’m trying to upload in a zip format.

Hi Rikard,
Okay, I’ve re-installed the newest Version of Enfold. I hope you activated the old version too, to see the errors and what happened, but it seemed worse with the new version.
Thank you for your help with this.

Here you go… any help you can provide would be really appreciated!
I just changed the password, so here you go.
That worked, thank you!
Okay, so thought I would ask, is adding custom headers on the Enfold Update Agenda?
I personally think that header widgets don’t work that well, but if you could add yourhown header the same way you can now add your own footer in Enfold, that would resolve all kinds of problems. I personally use other themes for service type companies that need their phone number, etc. in the Header area (in a much bolder way than the top bar)…. I tend to look to other themes when I need a custom header, so just thought I would ask, as I prefer Enfold.
Thanks!

Okay, that didn’t really help, as I get how to change the color, the problem was that the transparent header needed something different than the regular and sticky header. so I’ve just removed the transparent header, for simplicity.
Howeve, the header widget is not responsive. Can you help me with that? As soon as you get to tablet and cell it doesn’t work – it either overlaps what is underneath it (tabliet) – or disappears behindthe logo (mobile).
Is there a way for tablet and mobile to have the header widget appear below the logo?
Thank you.
Awesome, am so sorry, I should have noticed that. Wonder if you could now help me make this more responsive?
1. Header Widget doesn’t work on Mobile and Tablet. Is there a way to place it below the logo on smaller screens? Right now it overlaps or goes behind the logo on mobile, and on Tablet it overlaps or is too low.
2. The other issue is that I have chosen one font color, so it looks nice on the the home page, but hte home page is the only page with a transparent header – on all of the other pages the color of the header nees to just be black and fit into the whte space in the regular white header, so needs to be black like sticky header.
I was able to figure out css to make black when the header scrolls to the smaller sticky header, and that looks nice, but it needs to be black on all of the other pages without hte transparent header. Here is the css I have right now, yours and mine:
I really appreciate your help with this!
/*STYLE HEADER WIDGET */
#text-6 {
position: absolute;
left: 5%; margin-top: -10px;
max-width: 30%; font-family: ‘work sans’,’HelveticaNeue’,’Helvetica Neue’,’Helvetica-Neue’,Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; font-weight: bold; color: #FDE8A5; text-align: center; font-size: 18px; text-shadow: 2px 2px 12px #000000
}#top #header.header-scrolled #header_main #text-6 {
color: #000000; margin-top: -30px; text-shadow: none;

I am having the same problem. I do have the most recent version of enfold. But, on the flip boxes – alghough there is a setting for padding, it doesn’t seem to change anything. I have mine set at 50px for top, right, bottom, left – but there is no padding top or bottom and it looks pretty bad. think maybe there is an issue with this element?
I tried your css, that did not work either.
I have a coming soon page up on this webiste and my flip boxes are on the home page.
August 25, 2020 at 4:28 pm in reply to: Changing /blog to /articles – the same way you change the Portfolio Items Base #1240697Okay, maybe it’s not really the permalink structure I want to change, but how abou the breadcrumbs that are automatically set in enfold, could I change / blog to / articles ?
August 18, 2020 at 1:34 pm in reply to: Changing /blog to /articles – the same way you change the Portfolio Items Base #1238795Okay, I am so sorry, I have read those articles, as well as perused many others trying to figure this out – nothing seems to explain exactly what I want to do and I can’t figure this out – I’m assuming it’s very simple but it is escaping me and none of those instructions are exactly what I’m looking to do. I know how to change a permalink at the Edit Post or Page screen. I cannot figure out how to change blog to articles in the url structure.
Do you think you could shed some light on this for me with your own instructions?
August 6, 2020 at 6:57 pm in reply to: Unexplainted Margin or padding and border around elements #1235828Awesome, that worked, and now I will know for other sites. Thank You!
Hi:
I used your styling code to make the height of the fullwidth easy slider larger on mobile and tablet, so the text and the button will fit. I just wondered, is there a way to prevent the slide image from stretching out with the height? If not, can probably live with it – looks fine on tablet, but stretched high on mobile. Here’s the code I used:
/*SLIDER ON MOBILE & TABLET ADJUST HEIGHT TO FIT CONTENT */
@media only screen and (max-width: 768px) {
#full_slider_1 .avia-slideshow-inner, #full_slider_1 img{
height: 350px !important;
}
}Site is here: https://0a37a07f99.nxcli.net/
August 5, 2020 at 2:34 pm in reply to: Unexplainted Margin or padding and border around elements #1235435I am so sorry, placed in private content.
Another rep sent me code on fixing the header margin, so the only issue left on this site is the margin and border under the fullwidth easy slider on the home page. Thank you so much.
The code you gave me previousy in in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS:
/*FIX MARGIN UNDER SLIDER */
#full_slider_1 {
box-shadow: none;
}Tried adding !important, didn’t help. It is very noticeable now, you’ll see white space under the slider – I added a background to the color section beneath it so you can see it. Thank you!!!
