Hi, I wanted to piggyback on this support ticket. I have followed these instructionson a staging site I just started, and it worked, the icons are there, which is great!

But, is there a way to change the icon colors? They are supposed to be gold the but copying the HTML as you’ve descirbed does not bring forward the color, just the icon itself.

Any suggestions? See my secondary menu on this site here: http://eleinar9.sg-host.com/

Yes, Lula’s is the best looking. and it doesn’t seem as bad now (I removed the top bar from the sticky menu, which helps). It looks like the others are better now too, just the top of the pics getting cut off on some. Is there a way to have these anchor links land about 50 or 100 px higher, to make up for the sticky header?

Excellent Nikko, that worked like a charm, thank you so much!

in reply to: mega menu images not appearing #1356201

    Hi,

I am having the same problem with images no longer appearing in a column in a Mega Menu. I also understand your Mega Menus and I’ve used them many times, so I feel that maybe a recent update has caused issues?

Here is a site that I created with Enfold, where I accomplished exactly what I’m trying to accomplish on a new site, but cant. See Mega Menus under s: “Charters” and “About”. Here is the site: https://takemetheresailing.com/. This site has Enfold Version 4.8.6.5

So now my new site, where I wish to accomplish the same thing, and I have done the same thing, but an image will not appear in a Mega Menu unless you place a sub-menu item under it. https://3f6c0ed8c6.nxcli.net/ This site has a newer version of Enfold, Version 4.8.9. Interestingly, on this site, if I place a menu item under the Image Column, the image will appear, but with nothing under it (which is what I want and what I did on the other site), it will not appear.

On this new site (coming soon page up, placed login credentials below), the Mega Menu is under About; the first column is empty (I have an image there); only the second column appears.

    Thank you for your help.

That worked great. I so appreciate you! Excited about the ability to do this!!

This is totally awesome!!!! Thank you Mike, you are the best!

Except, I wonder if you could help me figure out one thing. Since I have multiple rows of team members (right now I have 3 rows), it’s placing white space under each row (as if the team member descriptions were actually there.

    Here’s my page: https://3f6c0ed8c6.nxcli.net/about-us/musicians/

in reply to: Adding Images to Mega Menu #1346320

Okay, yes, I found the culprit.

    /*MAKE SUB-MENUS LARGER WIDtH */
    .av-main-nav ul { width: 300px !important; }

Because I tend to use this on all my sites, including the others where I had no problem with mega menus, I didn’t think to look at this, but once I removed it, then I didn’t need your code for the picture to appear – it just appeared, and the columns are now evenly spaced.

    Thank you!

in reply to: Adding Images to Mega Menu #1346090

Okay, thank you, that worked, but it has always worked outside of the box without css; has something changed, pictures aren’t part of the mega menus anymore?

It also seems really small. Take a look at another site I created with Enfold, where I added images to the Mega Menu with no trouble. They appear much larger: https://takemetheresailing.com/ And, if I change the pixels in the css you provided, from say 300 to 400, it steals space from the 3rd column, so didn’t really work.

    Thank You.

in reply to: More "Background video" settings #1344928

Hi, I’m tagging into this because I have a background video in a Color Section, and it looks awesome, but I would also like to see it take from the Top Center or Center Center of the video, because some of the heads are getting cut off of the top. And I didnt see an answer to this question.

Can this be done using css, or you mentioned in this thread a config-templatebuilder file, but I didn’t see a way to change it there either.

Your help with accomplishing this would be much appreciated.

The video is on the home page here: https://heartvascularsurgerycenter.com/ but I have a coming soon page up, so I’ll provide login credentials below.

in reply to: Add Buttons to Top Bar #1344566

It’s perfect Mike, thank you so much!

Now I’ll know how to accomplish this in the future :)

in reply to: Add Buttons to Top Bar #1344422

Here you go Mike, thanks for looking into this.

in reply to: Add Buttons to Top Bar #1344151

hmmm… doesn’t really work – it adds space to the top bar, more space under buttons, when what we actually need to accomplish is get the phone number moved down – so more space on top of it, no more space at the bottom, because right now the buttons have small amount of space top and bottom, perfect, but if I add this code, there is now a bunch of space added under the buttons, to the entire top bar, which is unnecessary.

    Here’s a screenshot: https://nimb.ws/yF6bl2

I really have tried a bunch of things, to no avail.

in reply to: Add Buttons to Top Bar #1344068

Okay, this is awesome, thank you! Could you help with one more thing? Although the buttons look great on the right hand side, now the phone number at the top is tiny and butted up to top, whereas it needs to be centered vertically, just like the buttons, and a little larger. Could you help with that?

    Thank you!

in reply to: Add Buttons to Top Bar #1343922

    Okay, I’ve tried this.

First: I placed the phone number on the left in Theme Options, Then I added a Header Widget Area and paced my side by side button code there, but now the buttons are under the Menu.

    1. How do I get my buttons to be in the Top Bar on the Right the way there were in this image: https://nimb.ws/M0A1OW ?

in reply to: Slider on Home page seems to be showing behind Header #1343919

That worked, I will take note of that, thank you so much!

in reply to: Slider on Home page seems to be showing behind Header #1342921

Hmmm, don’t know why you can’t see the bypass link: https://heartvascularsurgerycenter.com/bypass Try that one.

I’ll also give you login credentials in private content.

I did try adding 30 pixels to the Header, then I tried removing 30 pixels, just to see if anything changed , but nothing happens either way. Would you mind taking a look?

    I appreciate your help.

in reply to: Add Buttons to Top Bar #1342920

Okay, maybe I wasn’t clear…. I have the buttons on the Right

But now the only options I have to place something on the Left side of the top bar are to display “Social Profiles – “top bar at the left” – or Header Secondary Menu” top bar at the left. There is no space to add exactly what you want like there is underneath for Header Phone Number/Extra Info.

    Does that make sense?

in reply to: Add Buttons to Top Bar #1342880

Oh my gosh, I never knew it was that simple, thank you! That worked like a charm…. may I ask you one more question? Since I’ve now used the right side for buttons (instead of phone number).. is there a way to now add the phone number on the left side of the top bar?

Thanks Nikko, I’m so glad to have this code; may use it again… thanks so much!

in reply to: Mega Menu Styling & Adding an Extra Column #1341349

Actually, I just went to do that and it is not appearing any longer; so thank you!

Thank you, I’ve added the debug code. And, I remember that the map I have on this page is a Snazzy Map, so yes, there is code on this page, which I’m guessing is causing the issue? Here is my Snazzy Map Code:

I think this is great, used the 2nd rule, but if something changes, I’m glad to have the 1st rule in my back pocket as well. Thank you!

One more thing though, I’m not sure if you noticed, but after you hover over an item, then click on it, a white strip of color goes across it until the new page loads… do you know why it’s doing that? must be taking the white from some other styling setting or code.

    No sure way, it’s intermittent.

I just loaded the website in an incognito window and they all appear, every page, what does that mean?

Yes, I had, but when I went back in this morning, it had reverted back to the parent theme instead of the child (I had done everything within the child theme); so that must have been the problem, and I didn’t realize it, now it’s working. So sorry and thank you; hate bothering you guys unnecessarily!

in reply to: Cannot Edit an Item – Changes will not take effect #1329723

Okay, for sure I will, and so sorry, but I still can’t make it work. I just went into the page /products – the problem still exists – the tag is still open.

and I can open that element where the tag was not closed, but I cannot close it – same problem – I can add the closing tag, but the element will not save, so I cannot fix it.

I even tried adding a new element – a new special heading underneath, with no tags, dragging it up there – removing the old one that didn’t have the closed tag, then saved the page, but the change does not take effect.

okay, top bar seems to be working now, thank you.
