Nevermind, figured it out.
This removes the products from the shop list… but not from the categories:
I would want to remove the category from just the main shop page. I can use a page number identifier and remove it with CSS right?
It also makes the SHOP page… 2 pages… instead of just one. Which isn’t ideal, I would prefer that people keep scrolling, rather than have to press next page
-Also, what about my other question from above? Regarding a different banner for each shop page?
-Also, another question, is there a way to control which categories Start out Open… vs Closed on the Shop pages?
Like on the Main Shop Page… I want to Give people the option to search by Liquor Type. I don’t want the subcategories below it (like tequila, vodka, etc) to show up automatically, I’d like it to remain closed until a visitor clicks it?Another weird thing, when I add in the Spirits Category, the system for whatever reason pushes it to the top:
Even though alphabetically it should be below. I have no idea why thats happening
Ayyee, that works a lot better, thank you so much!!!
June 10, 2025 at 12:47 am in reply to: Weird thing happening with categories in WooCommerce #1485251Is it safe to use one of those plugins? I’m afraid to crash the site.
It needs to say “Sale: 20%”
Or wtvr the percentage is. I just got back to this and its looked like the above for a week without me realizing it.
I tried removing the code for now, but it breaks the page. Can we get this fixed soon, customers are probably wondering whats going on lol
Hi, it did make a change, but it doesn’t look right at all:
Not sure why this is happening.
I still need help with the above code, so is it ok if I keep it in this thread?
I tried putting in the code, but it didn’t work for me. It made the percentage box bigger, and broke the product pages.
I put in the old code back, but the percentage box is still bigger than it was before.
I’m not too familiar with php, so odds are I missed something somewhere. Can you please help me with this final step?
Hi, happy Sunday, just following up. A few minor issues I still need some help with:
1) At least on chrome mobile “Items with Promos” is still showing up at the bottom. I know different browsers are coded slightly different, could that be a reason why?
2) Also, with the categories, the number next to each one is showing the total amount of items in each category, including items that are hidden from results. This confuses customers, as they end up seeing less items than the number shows. Would it be possible to have that number reflect only the items that are displayed for each category?
I guess I can just move the hidden items to other categories, but I may want to move them back in the future. If the above isn’t possible, I guess I’ll do this.
3) I love the 20% OFF Green boxes that are on the shop page currently, but I have to input the 20% on my own, and I then it affects all the items that are for sale. Would it be possible for the number to be based of the Sale amount on each individual product, automatically? So (reg price – sales price)/reg price?
Thank you so so soooo much for all your help. I get compliments all the time on the website, and I wouldn’t be able to do it without your help!
Cheers,
-DanielI tried the above, played around with all the options, I couldn’t get the images to change. Not sure what I’m doing wrong.
I like the current size of the items in the shop, just want to use higher resolution images with the same aspect ratio.
Thank you so much for your help

You guys previously gave me the code to move it up. It works on desktop, just not on mobile for some reason. Was just wondering if there was a way to add onto the code, to make it work on mobile as well.
This screenshot shows which category I want to move on top on mobile.
Also, is there a way to put a divider in the section above, for only tablet and mobile (not desktop) – between the 420 discount and free shipping?
Site is broken completely
All I did was change “Sale!” to “20% OFF” in the PHP code you gave me, and everything just went down and is malfunctioning.
Please help
*Was able to fix with hosting company.
Is there a way to make “Items with Promos” category appear at the top on mobile as well?

It still doesn’t work on Mobile, it disappears completely. On tablet, it shifts, and looks weird. I guess we have to manually adjust it for every screen size?
I’m pretty sure back in the day there were banners, and they were attached to the physical images, making this easier. I just wish I knew how I removed them, cause I didn’t want them at the time.
Also, with the categories, I want “Items with Promos” to show up at the top, but its only doing so on desktop. Its not doing so on mobile. Can you also check on tablet?
Thank you so much
I just tried it, it didn’t seem to work. I left login details on my original post, perhaps you can troubleshoot?
Also for the 2nd part, how do I move the Sale Shop Category up to the top on mobile as well?
Thank you so much!
Also, just realized something. The Sale thing category shows up at the top on desktop, but not on mobile for some reason. Not sure why.
The CSS worked, thank you.
And no, it was more like this:
Where I drew in the electric green. They would be like banners hanging over the product photos. Something like that. I pretty sure the store defaults to them, but I somehow turned them off, and I can’t find how at all.
Thank you so so much
Thank you so much. Is there a way to make it bold?
Also, for my other question, is there a way to bring back those sales banners?
It did, thank you so so much!!!
Oh, sorry, bonjiglass.com/shop – cart page.

Honestly, I have no idea. Is there a way i can do inspect tool on mobile android and see if it comes up in code?
Its in the screenshot. Bonjiglass.com/shop
I have an android. Maybe it only shows up on there?
December 21, 2024 at 6:11 am in reply to: Use the breadcrumb area on SHOP page as a section saying Free Shipping #1474098One more question. If I want to add an extra line of text below “Don’t Forget to Use Your Discount Codes”, how would I do that?
I don’t know PHP code at all, I don’t want to break anything
December 21, 2024 at 3:49 am in reply to: Use the breadcrumb area on SHOP page as a section saying Free Shipping #1474097Amazing, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
December 19, 2024 at 12:56 am in reply to: Use the breadcrumb area on SHOP page as a section saying Free Shipping #1473961Thank you. I almost got it, but it appears like this section was built over that overall section with the rotating slider… and so is inheriting the black overlay.
Is there a way to remove that overlay from just this new Free Shipping Section.. so that it pops. Its super dull atm:
https://www.bonjiglass.com/shop/Also, on mobile, the words overlap… needs spacing between the lines I think.

Actually, questions off of this.
Its seems that the top caption of the slider and the slider names are both h2s, by default. I wouldn’t want them to be the same font, is it possible to change on of them to another h… maybe using CSS?
Eh, maybe. Let me test it out with other fonts.
I changed the font in general styling to “copperplate”, and as you can tell on the page, a lot of the fonts changed to it. The text: “Fill your walls with unique…” on the top slider is in copperplate, and looks significantly different. You can especially tell be the Fs.
It does seem to work with a google font, but not with copperplate. Its weird, but I guess it is what it is. Copperplate works for some elements, but not for others. Guess it is what it is
I chose Copperplate, but it isn’t showing up as Copperplate. Now sure why.
Below I’ve attached a login, perhaps I made a mistake somewhere with the setup, or added something I shouldn’t have in the CSS
Thank you so much per always.
That worked super well. Thank you so much!
