When someone clicks on the fallback image, does the video then play?
July 25, 2018 at 7:23 pm in reply to: video slide with auto play disabled still asking for fallback image on mobile #989891I currently have the middle container that appears hidden on mobile, same with the video that appears on mobile hidden on desktop.
Let me know if you need me to supply login and will happily do in private
Thank you!
Victoria,
They are not directed towards category pages – I have created separate pages that have the blog post feature added in. I have included the log in above in the original posting if you’d like to check it out
Thank you in advance!
Victoria,
Thank you so so much! You are always extremely helpful!
Victoria,
Bit confused about what you’re suggesting. The images are large and not particularly shaped in any specific shape. Are you suggesting that I output the photos in a square crop?
Hi Ismael,
I had wrapped the adjusted home page blog codes into the media only that you supplied, however when doing so – it adjusted everything to the point where the code was almost non existent (IE the styling looked like the default blog settings)
Could you potentially look into this for me? I would like the adjusted codes to live on desktop, however revert back to the standard blog settings on mobile.
Thank you in advance! I have shared the log in information in private below
Ismael
I did – not getting the result I was looking for. Would you like access to the site?
Hi Ismael,
I have attempted making adjustments to the above code to no avail –
Again, I am looking to have the ‘read more’ button + the author and date to fall under the copy of the blog preview. Then to have the featured image on the side to be a bit taller ( I would assume to fit the same height as the posting)
Any idea?
Thank you in advance!
Ismael,
Just curious how I go about making the big preview container larger?
Thank you again!
Ismael you are the man!
Couple final questions –
#1 – is it possible to get the featured image bigger? In addition, could I get the read more button, and the author / date information to fall under the snippet?
#2 – It translates a bit weird on mobile – is there a solution so that the code applies to look how we’ve set it up on desktop, but to adhere to the normal way on mobile?
Thank you in advance, you are a life saver!
Hi Ismael,
We’re getting closer – is there a way to get the title above the copy on the right side as well, in addition to the featured image being bigger?
Thank you in advance
Ismael,
I have that setting made for the front page postings – you can see it is not the desired effect / layout I am looking for.
Any further suggestions?
Thank you in advance
Thanks Mike –
For additional help; it seems like since the layout of the blog (title and copy) is set the way I would like already, that I should be able to have the two sit side by side horizontally, with a minor adjustment to the frame of the image (as I would like it to be more of less wide, rectangle than what exists) – could someone assist me with the code?
I have given log in access a couple comments above in private
Thank you in advance!
Hi Victoria,
I have attempted making adjustments on that page – nothing with the option of what I have described / presented.

September 5, 2017 at 4:56 pm in reply to: Full width color section making whole site full width #848198Hi Rikard,
I am unable to take a screen shot as it isn’t responding the same way it was last night.
For instance – the fullwidth slider up top touches edge to edge – then the content beneath is within the max site width container – HOWEVER, I would like to make any of my color sections (with custom ids) touch edge to edge as well. Unfortunately when I attempt to do that now, it ends up making the entire site full width. That is not what I want, I only want certain color sections with custom id’s to respond in that manner.
Here is the code I am using that is not working – for reference – the two images that say “work with me” and “@xxxx” are labeled as fwcs in the custom section id portion
#fwcs .container { width: 100% !important; max-width: none !important; }
Hey Jordan,
The code has been inserted to the top of the custom css portion – still no success
Log in supplied in private – please let me know if you have any luck
Thank you in advance
Jordan,
It can ultimately be any website – the website in question is this one
I would like to hide certain sections on desktop, but to appear on mobile – and vice versa
Thank you in advance
Jordan
It doesn’t appear to be centering the sidebar on mobile
Jordan,
This is solved. Thank you again for your stellar assistance
sorry – see private
Rikard
It is happening to all postings – login below
Thank you in advance
Jordan,
Solved. Thank you
Jordan,
You my friend are a God. Please mark as solved.
Thank you again
Ismael –
In addition to my response above, I have the top blog portions set to include a ‘read more’ link, however they’re not appearing now.
Assistance is greatly appreciated
Yigit,
This can be marked as solved. Thank you!
