June 19, 2023 at 7:35 pm in reply to: Enfold and Events Calendar plugin Individual Event layout #1411093Thanks mike! Important question: can I add this to the child theme or does it have to go into the theme itself?
NEVER MIND! :) I got it.

DougJanuary 23, 2023 at 1:48 am in reply to: menu background-on-hover in transparent glassy header #1394726Thanks Rikard!
Yes that works.
but the text of the menu link disappears. I tried adding color but that didn’t work-.av_header_transparency nav.main_menu li:hover {
color: #00000 !important;
background-color: #8ad3f2;
}Also, is there a way to change the background-on-hover opacity?

Wait – never mind! I got it. Thanks for being there!
One detail: this is for desktop.
August 30, 2022 at 6:13 pm in reply to: image map popups disappear when cursor is off the target #1363275Thank you Mike! I shoulda known that! I appreciate it. Client says you saved the day.
Hey Ismael! Thank you – the popup has no margins though, Whereas a normal gallery image popup does have left, right, top, bottom margins. Can margins be added just like those on an image lightbox?
The problem is that the color section popup covers the entire browser screen, so I might as well be using a separate page instead of a lightbox. Please see the test page you created. I have added some test content for example of what I mean. It just really needs margins like those on image lightboxes.
I’d really like to use the Enfold popup solution rather than a plugin.
thank you again for all your efforts! I really appreciate it.
Thank you Ismael!
no, that didn’t work. when I add your line to the child theme’s functions.php, the 9999 becomes dashes, and doesn’t make it work.
Hi – just thought I’d check in to see if you have any thoughts about the above?
Thank you!
Thank you Victoria – the parallax is the only thing I didn’t experiment with. Works fine with fixed.
Very much appreciated!!!
All best –
Thank you – url attached
Here you go – thanks!
February 24, 2021 at 12:19 am in reply to: move horizontal menu to abut screen's right edge #1283270Hi! sorry for the late reply – thank you. I’ve attached a screenshot.
I want the DONATE button to abut the screen’s right edge.
Thank you!
Works Perfectly! Yay! Thanks so much!
All Best,
Doug
Ouch sorry Rikard – we changed the slug since last time. Thanks for hanging in there with me on this.
Some background:
The blog is displayed in the Blog Posts element on the News page.
The first 2 listed posts are both “Post Format Link”. They are linked to outside websites.
I believe this means that their titles displayed in the Blog Posts element should simply go to the outside website. NOT to the post itself.
My titles erroneously go to the post instead.
For an example of correct behavior, go to Enfold’s demo site: https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-2017/blog/
Then click on the post title “This is a post with post type “Link”
See how it goes to an outside site? And NOT to the post itself?
That’s what I want my two test posts to do. It’s a basic WordPress function that isn’t working here. Thanks Rikard.
Hi Rikard – thanks for your help! and I want to check with you about how the post type link is supposed to function. Currently when you click on the post title, displayed in the Advanced Editor Blog Posts element, it sends you to the post itself rather than the link target.
Maybe it doesn’t work within the Advanced Editor Blog Posts element?
When I compare the behavior of the post type link title here: https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-2017/blog/ with mine, they don’t function the same. Darn. I know this is supposed to be super simple, so it’s probably frustrating to both you and I :)Thanks! Weird huh?. Also happening on another site, but now I know what to do.
All best,
DougThanks Rikard –
See link etc below. I don’t understand why the title is being listed as “Read More” instead of the post’s actual title.
Thank you Basilis. If I can ask for your patience for one follow-up question: what is a “search page” in the context of my original question?
Many thanks!
Closed! Thanks all.
Thanks Jordan –
I think I’m good for now by just adjusting the font and line height size for testimonials in quick css.
Hi Victoria – thanks for sticking with this – I don’t want to be a pain.
The code you sent me in an email has a lot of “” in it, so WordPress won’t accept it. I understand now that email made this happen. So – I tried the code above from Ismael. WordPress accepted it.
however, the result was that the search couldn’t find much. Kind of like the search’s Intelligence Quotient went down 50%! It couldn’t find really simple things.
Am I making sense? I didn’t know this was going to be as difficult to solve. Perhaps I should send you login credentials so you can have a go at it?
I do think this is something your customers are going to want and need. I know I will need it for every site I make using Enfold ( A lot of sites – it’s the only theme I use for clients).
Kind Regards,
Doug
Thank you!
The code makes the search malfunction. I think I’ll come back to this subject later. Thank you for your efforts although it’s not working.
Best Regards,
Doug

I don’t think I’m explaining the problem well! Or maybe there is a good reason I’m not aware of, and am happy to be corrected.
Many Enfold users who use your new Footer Template function will have this very funky 404 result using Enfold’s Search. I’m sure it’s not your intention.
To illustrate, please perform these steps:
Go to the site.
In the search, located in the menu, enter “Copyright”.
You’ll see “Footer Template” first in the list of results. (“Copyright” is of course in the footer)
Click on Footer Template link in the search results list.
You get a Page Not Found result.Enfold’s Footer Template should be invisible. It’s a major new function but has this flaw and displays in Enfold’s search results.
Your definition of the Footer Template: “This page is currently selected to be displayed as footer. (Set in Enfold » Footer). Therefore it can not be accessed directly by the general public in your front end.”
However, here it is, showing up as a search result. It also creates a 404 situation.
