it was a problem with the settings of a plugin called ‘shiftnav’
fixed it and now everything back to normal

probely ‘safari-pinned-tab.svg’ is the one that makes the difference but i didn’t want to take any chances so used the complete code
http://realfavicongenerator.net/ is also very helpful for this issue
anyway – it seems to work just like it should!

I added the code to the function.php
and it seems to add the code to the page source code
..but it doesn’t seem to have any effect on safari browser when you add the site to your favorites
maybe the code still missing something?I know that and already used it successfully
But it’s only good for normal favicon
Not for the kind of icons in safari favorites that I showed you in the screenshot
It seems that they need to be defined differently

problem solved by changing the link from http://www.domain-name.ac.il to http://www.domain-name.ac.il/home

its seems that google Tag Manager script caused this issue
if I remove it, issue solved

I deleted enfold directory again and uploaded older version (3.5.2)
and now everything seems to be back to normal

LayerSlider is a little bit overkill for my task
all I need is simple (full screen) slider, without all the fancy and complex effects LayerSlider has
and recreating my current full screen silder in LayerSlider (including recreating all the text and buttons in HTML instead of using enfold’s buttons etc) is really hard, all that, just for having the LayerSlider play/pause button? Ouch!!

I have tried a many times testing the from (or creating a new form) with all plugins deactivated but the problem persistsI have contact the hosting server administrator and asked to change the restriction so you will able to login and take a look but he can’t so i guess I’m on my own? :(
..two last question:
1.any chance someone of kriesi support team would agree to login to the site with my computer (e.g. by using remote access tool such as TeamViewer)?
..i know this is a lot to ask and will completely understand if you can’t but it seems to be a simple solution to bypass that 403 security restriction on this server
2. if all is lost..can you recommend other contact plugin for me to use?
I know you tend to recommend ‘contact form 7’ but it doesn’t have a simple way (beside css) to define half width fields
and even no ‘drag to arrange’ option like the enfold basic from has, so i hope theres and other more simple (but solid good) alternativeagain thanks for all your help and sorry for the headache

some updates:
1. i tried the css solution
it did hide the datepicker but the fields didn’t regain their original functionality
so the form still isn’t usable (so i removed that css code for now)2. I talked to the server administrator and he said he removed those restriction
can you try login again and take a closer look to see how to resolve the problem?already tried disabling all plugins
..wont this css code only visually hides the datepicker?
I mean..after visually hiding it using this css will every field regain it’s original functionality?
because if it only visually hide it but you still have to enter a date than we still have a problem..I will check the functions.php
and also will try talking to the sever administrator to remove those restriction so you will be able to login and take a closer lookwill let you know as soon as possible

i did another test:
again on a blank page I tried creating new form and again as long as I leave it as is (the default form) it worked just fine
but this time i didn’t add new fields, just modified the first filed (the name field) from full width to half width
once i did that and republish the page, the datepicker started showing in that filed
..when i tried restoring it to full width, it returns to full width but it didn’t help to the problem – datepicker is still there in that field !
this means every change made to the default form makes the problem show up
what can we do?it’s a server of academic institution..I assume they have very strict firewall that deny your access – sorry
I tried creating new form – as long as I leave it as is (the default form) it works fine
but once i add new fields (which i must) the problem returns

here (in the private content) are links to screenshot of the the layout in the backend and the front
as you can see the two videos are tight without blank space between them
but from the left side of the left video and the right side of the right video there’s huge white space – they are not full screen width from side to side
how can i stretch so there wont be any white gap from their sides?
