Hello Enfold Support,
I have figured out most of the CSS for the goal. I/we are using the “Transparent & Glassy Header” and checked the boxes for “Sticky Header” and “Shrinking Header”.
I have two current issues – after a little more work, I decided to do one issue at a time.
So, the first issue – to work the menu into the curve of the PNG background, I moved it up a little..main_menu { margin: -50px 0 0; text-transform: uppercase; }
Problem is, when I scroll the page and the header element collapses as it should, the menu moves off screen.
How do I keep it on the page?
(link, username and password in private content area)
TIA,
GregSeptember 1, 2015 at 10:21 pm in reply to: form placement in advanced layer slider – responsive #496748Hello Andy & Support,
Let’s close this – things changed with the need…
(sigh)
Sorry for the delayed response,
GregOK – we’ll go with the supported call. :-)
Thanks,
GregOK – I was hoping there might be a way to exclude a category ID on the regular blog.
We can close this.
Thanks,
GregHello Yigit,
I haven’t figured it out yet…
The category ID I’d like excluded from this main blog page is: #23.
Here is the category link: nikkiestradayoga.com/category/yoga-chat-with-nikki/.
So any posts with that ID should be excluded from this landing page (blog): nikkiestradayoga.com/nikkis-blog/.
Is that enough info? Or do you need screenshots? (I’m not clear what I’d be communicating with screen shots.)
Sincerely,
Gregi saw that the enfold user accessed the site today – any advice yet?
~ gregHello Rikard,
OK – credentials reposted in private content area.
FYI,
GregHello Andy,
The credentials were put in the “Private Content” area of my post.
I just checked the site – it is loading for me: http://cloud.voxmaxum.com/. You have to be logged in to get past the “under construction” plug-in.(Just in case, this is my test page for working this out: test page link)
Here are some screenshots – though I think you are going to need to actually login to help trouble-shoot:
- link for screenshot with video not full width
- link with video full width – video in Color Section element (not slider)
let me know if you still need the user credentials sent to you – and the secure way to do so.
TIA,
GregHello Rikard,
I think we’re well into the ballpark now – and you’ve put a lot of time/energy into this one, which is greatly appreciated.
I say we call this one closed.
Thank you,
GregHello Rikard,
That has helped a lot – thank you.
There are two items I’d like to fix if possible:- Less white space between logo and menu with iPad/Safari
- Fix so entire menu is on one line – right now, menu wraps with iPads/Safari
Any advice? (screenshots below)

PS. The black element in the center of the iPad shot is because my wife’s home button broke. That is an app as a “fix”. gw
Hello Rikard,
I finally got back to this.
It centered the logo, but it is smaller then it should be.

Thoughts on getting it “full size”?
TIA,
GregHello Rikard,
I placed the code in the Quick CSS. It still is off screen.
Also, I was told in another support communication to place the following in our CSS:
.logo { width: 100% !important; } .logo img { left: 50% !important; transform: translate(-50%) !important; }
Might the two now be conflicting?
~ GregThat did it!!
Elliot, you’re a genius! :-)
Thank you – we can close this one out!!

Hello Elliott,
Chrome is up-to-date.
Here are the screenshots – my client (Corbett) had the same experience with his Chrome. I am on Windows 7. Perhaps that is part of the issue?
Firefox Screenshot
Chrome ScreenShotAlso, I deactivated all the plugins – no effect.
Sincerely,
GregAlso – the size of the logo in Chrome is not correct.
~ GregMarch 20, 2015 at 10:48 pm in reply to: Feature Request: dynamic copyright date in socket element #415565Elliott,
Works perfectly!! Thank you… I never even considered there would be a plugin for such a thing. d’oh!!
You rock!
~ GregHello Elliot/Support,
Here’s the code:
<iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/F2Rph7FJHRg?rel=0&showinfo=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I am using two slides; this is on slide #2. I am using the “HTML/Video/Audio” tab. The image placeholder shows up in “static” mode – but doesn’t load when I preview in the admin or on the front end.

(forgot to check notify via email)
That did it – thank you!!
This is resolved :-)
Hello Elliott,
I heard back from the slider developers. They say that there is no way to avoid the “jumping text” with several slides.
I am going to attempt recreating it with one slide and a lot of layers.Thank you for time on this – we can close it out.
Sincerely,
GregOK – thank you everyone.

Hello Josue,
Thank you so much!! This was driving me crazy – and I didn’t even think to check the child theme.
I really appreciate your help and time on this one!!
Sincerely,
GregThank you, Yigit.
(I needed it on all the pages, so using “#main .content { padding-top: 0; } seems to be working – I needed your info to get me on the correct path).
Thanks again!
~ GregThis reply has been marked as private.(d’oh – i just saw the image tag…)
OK – screen shot is here: screen shot.
Any ideas for this?
(Tomorrow I’ll start ripping things apart on a dev server – hopefully this can be avoided.)
~ Greg
