Thank you Ismael. I decided to simply re-upload square images and that worked. I don’t use the circle feature often so I’m fine with that solution. We can close this thread now. Again, many thanks.
I’m afraid disabling the plugin might overburden my site with heavy images – not sure how that works. I’ll just re-upload images since I know it’s not throughout my whole site. Thank you.
Hi Isamel – yes, her schedule was heavily booked. Glad to have that done.
To answer your question, I did try to manually edit and reselect 180 x 180. That didn’t work.
She did install an image optimization plugin as my site was way too heavy image wise (being a blogger artist/ photographer). But that was before I created the circles and it was fine until 2 days ago when she updated.
So shall I just re-upload square images? I don’t think I have used the circle feature anywhere else on my site, so it’s likely just this one page.
Hello – My developer updated the theme from 4.4 to 4.8 and the problem fixed itself. Thanks. I hadn’t realized that the automated updates were no longer happening.
However, in reviewing my site to make sure everything was OK, I see that the circular photos on this page are all wonky (different shapes and sizes). They were fine before – all exact circles. The original photos are not square but I had chosen the option 180 x 180 on the side, so that wasn’t an issue before. Can you tell why? https://www.dominiquehurley.com/spiritual-photo-tips-index. It now seems to be sourcing from the original upload, which is indeed not square.
If I re-upload an original square image (like with 1st photo – context), it goes back to circle.
Can you advise? Do I need to re-upload new images for all of them?

Thank you. I will pass this along to a tech help I occasionally hire. It’s beyond my understanding. Thanks.
Thanks Rikard – please see Temporary Login link in Private. There may have been a time when one of your team helped me shrink the header with custom code. I’d actually like it to return to your default bigger Fixed+Shrinking version. The important thing is I don’t want the 2 grey lines.
I reduced the image size and so my opt-in will be above the fold. This may have been why I asked to have it shrunk years ago. Thanks again for your help.
Wonderful, Ismael. That worked. Thank you. What about those double thin grey lines at the top. I don’t remember seeing those before. Are they normal? This page, for example at Kriesi, has 1. I have 2. I see the screenshot I pasted from Dropbox didn’t work above, but it’s at the top of my homepage, under the menu. Thank you.
September 13, 2018 at 10:34 am in reply to: Bold text in blog posts went from black to purple #1009310Hi – It didn’t do it in the next draft post, so I went back, erased, retyped and bolded and it was black. So I’m not sure why but it has resolved itself. Thank you.
September 7, 2018 at 10:24 pm in reply to: Bold text in blog posts went from black to purple #1007318Hi – no, it’s in a Draft post right now. But it didn’t do this weeks ago when I last drafted posts. When I preview, it’s purple. Seems to me that it was doing this years ago when I first started and was given a fix for it.
August 16, 2018 at 11:22 am in reply to: Blog Page blurb not showing for post created with Advanced Layout Editor #997897Thank you. Issue resolved.
Thank you Mike. That did it. I had no idea that would take away the images. I thought it would simply speed up the site. Problem solved. You may close this thread now. Thanks.
February 6, 2018 at 11:55 am in reply to: any idea why WooCommerce Product sliders are now on 2 lines instead of one? #908509Thank you Victoria! That worked :-)

There are still 3 products being shown, as always, but the 3rd is pushed to the next line so that it doesn’t work like a slider.. The arrow is there, and if I click it, it brings 3 new products, but again 2 on one line and the 3rd on the next. Interestingly, it didn’t do that on my homepage for the first slider: “Intuitive Services & Custom Products” but for the 2 below that: “Originals” and “Cards & More”.
I can’t remember when was the last time I checked my homepage, although it seems to me I’m there every few weeks. Can’t be sure though. But I know it wasn’t like that before. This is relatively new – I’d say in 2018 for sure. There have been WooCommerce and Enfold and WordPress updates lately.
For your last question – I have deleted products in my shop, but not images that would leave a blank space. There’s still 3 products shown, just with a line break.
P.S. I’m not very techy so I may not have used the right terminology, but you’ll see it. Thank you.
Thanks. We can close this one. Not sure what that fatal error was about, but it didn’t kill it permanently. :-)
Update: A few hours later, I tried re-activating the Enfold theme myself and this time the website does show up instead of an error message). Huge relief. It was very different, but I noticed that all my plugins were de-activated. After re-activating them, most is back up. Just the footer is different because the Bluehost tech changed the theme. I was able to rebuild it as the widgets were kept on the side in the Widget panel.
Not sure if I was able to re-activate Enfold because you were working on it at your end. Progress for sure. Relief too.
From my latest review, all seems to be back. Yay!

October 19, 2017 at 11:00 am in reply to: How to get Menu item not to go to about:blank if wanting them to go to sub-menu? #866148Hi Ismael, I used to have a single hashtag in there for years, but on mobile it wouldn’t know any sub-menu items. Only a locked menu title. I don’t use mobile and so I didn’t realize folks couldn’t explore my website. Will double hashtags make it so that the menu works on mobile?
October 16, 2017 at 8:50 pm in reply to: How to get Menu item not to go to about:blank if wanting them to go to sub-menu? #864931Hi – Just as you were typing, I put in a temporary measure – I created a page with the list of sub-menu items on it to click. It’s better than an about/blank.
When that release comes out and there’s a fix to the issue, what will I need to do to find out how it works? Could you add a follow-up reply here when it does? Thank you Basilis
Thank you Sarah – I now understand the where, but not the what. What will all that code do exactly? Why would it be good for me to input it?
I’m not using a child theme and will read about it. Thanks. I’ve had my site for a few years without it and don’t know if I’m techy enough to figure it out.
August 12, 2017 at 12:18 pm in reply to: Responsive issue: header items on top of each other #837830Hi Ismael – I’ll need more explanation please as to where and why – I’m not the most techy. Where do I find the js… file and what will this do? Are there any risks when either Word Press or Enfold has another update? etc. Thank you. I’m not sure what you’re asking me to do. Thanks.
OK Thank you. That too will be above my skill level. I’ll keep it simple. Thanks. This thread can be closed.
August 9, 2017 at 11:06 am in reply to: For WooCommerce Shop Page – how to get extra info at bottom instead of top? #836279Thanks, yes. The line of text at the top was a compromise that didn’t push the Shop too far down. It’s not the picture button I would have liked at the bottom, but it’ll do for now. Thanks. This one is closed.
Ah – great detective work. That’s wonderful for mobile – yes, it works now. But on desktop, if somoene clicks the main header it opens a blank page off my website: about.blank . Which causes other issues and is why I’d been recommended to use the # when I built my site. How can I work around that? I know many use moblile now, but many still use desktop. Thanks.

And here’s a photo of my screen on the iPhone 5
https://www.dropbox.com/s/mjcn2uoqy20dxf7/menu-screenshot.jpg?dl=0I will try to learn to do this now. Question: Can you open the menu items like About and Free Resources?
Thanks Mike – the 3 menu bars are now beside my logo, but the search magnifying glass is still on top. More importantly, however, is point 2 from above. Most items in my menu don’t open to the submenu. For example, if I click on Free Resources, nothing happens. Only the last one opens to a submenu. Any ideas why? So only 3 of the 4 that have submenus reveal them. Blog and Home go to new pages. Thanks.
