Hi @guenni007 – you sorted this for me a couple of years ago and it worked well. I just thought I’d add it to another site but for some reason, the icons are appearing three times? Any idea? The address is https://www.williamcheshire.com/
I’m only using the mobile menu 767px and below.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Nikko
That’s all good. Thanks so much.
Dominic
Excellent – thanks Nikko!
Hi Nikko
I have added the updated theme and logo has changed the same way as it did on the live site. It’s ready for you to have a look when ready.
Best

Hi Nikko
Thanks for the update. As luck should have it I have the site in a dev environment. I’ll send you the details below in PC.
I have also checked with the host and both the dev site and the live site are running PHP 7.3.
The dev site is the same as live site except the content will differ as the client obviously hasn’t been populating that one. Otherwise the same and same host environment (same VPS).
BTW I have a child theme – there is a header.php in there. I can’t see the issue but maybe it needs to be updated to work with new Enfold update. Here’s the only change that I can see:
wp_head();
?>
<link href=”https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lexend+Zetta&display=swap” rel=”stylesheet”></head>

Hi Nikko
Thanks
Details below
Hi Jordan
Thanks for that and my apologies.
I’ve posted a few things up here that people have been kind enough to help me with; things that I thought were probably a bit beyond the ‘off-the-shelf’ Enfold theme – so it’s difficult to know where that boundary lies in terms of support.
I have just worked out how to do it using existing Enfold/Avia elements (bar some minor styling which I’ll fix tomorrow). It worked out well and would be glad to share it when complete.

Thanks Guenni – I’ll add this. Looks great.

I like both ways – I’ll stick with the first one for now and keep the second one in reserve. Thanks again for all your help! It works great.
April 18, 2020 at 6:07 pm in reply to: Position: fixed div to become position: "unfixed" & rest at point on page scroll #1205069Sorry one more thing – I couldn’t get the mobile version (single column) to work where the ‘We specialise in’ goes into the top of each paragraph. How did you do that on your test site?
April 18, 2020 at 5:54 pm in reply to: Position: fixed div to become position: "unfixed" & rest at point on page scroll #1205068Sneaked in the time. It works a treat.
Thanks so much again for your expert advice.

April 18, 2020 at 2:27 pm in reply to: Position: fixed div to become position: "unfixed" & rest at point on page scroll #1204922Thanks Guenni – this looks great but I may not be able to implement it before Monday. My wife takes a dim view of me working at weekends when we have a 5 year old that needs entertaining. I’ll report back once I’ve tried (may try this evening) but it looks perfect. Thanks again

Is this something you could live with? : https://webers-testseite.de/pureinstall/alb-testseite/
Look to the responsvie case on narrower screens.
This looks fine. Is this done using the code below or are they all different routes? Sorry for being a bit dim.

Thanks so much for everyone’s help!
I initially put the php in Snippets plugin. And it didn’t work.
Put in the child theme functions and boom!
So pleased. Thank you all for persevering.

April 8, 2020 at 9:26 pm in reply to: Adding social media icons to mobile menu on mobiles only #1202019That’s exactly it. You articulated it better than I did!
Is that possible?
April 8, 2020 at 9:22 pm in reply to: Adding social media icons to mobile menu on mobiles only #1202016I don’t have footer social media icons switched on – will this code work?
And, will it only work on small devices or work for 100% of devices?
Am I adding this code to the existing code that has been sent through or is it applied on its own?
April 8, 2020 at 8:24 pm in reply to: Adding social media icons to mobile menu on mobiles only #1202007I really mean small screens where there is no room to accommodate the social media icons next to the logo comfortably when using a hamburger menu on all devices including desktop. However if <768 is the best we can do then that’s fine unless there is a way to adjust the figure (eg try <650px or something by a simple tweak to the code).
April 8, 2020 at 8:42 am in reply to: Adding social media icons to mobile menu on mobiles only #1201817Double checking this today and it appears twice in the menu mostly. Anyone? Thoughts?
April 5, 2020 at 10:31 am in reply to: Adding social media icons to mobile menu on mobiles only #1200944Hi Mike that’s great! It’s doing what I need except do you know why the social media icons are appearing more than once now in the mobile menu now (sometimes 4 times)? I only have the script added once and I have refreshed the cache. Is it preforming somesort of loop?

March 29, 2020 at 8:56 pm in reply to: Adding social media icons to mobile menu on mobiles only #1198941Hi Mike
Code is activated now.
What I would love is for the following:
- I want to use the hamburger menu for all devices
- social media icons appear in header on desktop and tablet and devices where space allows
- when space is restricted (eg. on mobiles) the social icons go into the mobile menu and disappear from header (in other words, where the social icons encroach on the logo they go into mobile/slide-out menu. This is probably iPhone 11 portrait downwards.
Thanks in advance for your help
Dominic
March 28, 2020 at 3:26 pm in reply to: Adding social media icons to mobile menu on mobiles only #1198597On the ipad it behaves like the old code. I did clear the cache on all devices…
It would be great if iPad worked like desktop and all phones portrait put icons into mobile menu

March 28, 2020 at 3:09 pm in reply to: Adding social media icons to mobile menu on mobiles only #1198584Hi Victoria
WOW, works a treat! One tiny bug on an iPhone 11 where it shows both menus still. Is that because it’s resolution is a bit higher? Would be great to include those too – which line do you change to tweak for that?

March 25, 2020 at 6:27 pm in reply to: Adding social media icons to mobile menu on mobiles only #1197791Hi Victoria
I removed the offending javascript and it still doesn’t work. I imagine the script puts the icons inside the slide-out menu when it recognises the hamburger menu is active rather than when it’s being viewed on screens at 768 or lower – do you think?
If so any thoughts on a fix?
Dominic
