Shouldn’t the latest post be first one in the “Blog Posts” area? Right now it’s the second.
See below. Thanks.
That didn’t help. I’m using the child theme (enfold-child) but I replaced the blog.php within the main enfold directory, if that matters.
I’m not using any cache plugins.
Thanks

You stated in July that you hope were going ask envato or themeforest to shorten the url path. Are there any updates?

Rather than suggesting we “hire a freelance developer”, this is very simple. Get a Windows host and try to update the theme. Your theme is the only theme (or plugin for that matter) that is having issues.

July 3, 2015 at 1:21 am in reply to: An error occurred while updating Enfold: Could not create directory. #467796Every other theme updates fine. Every plugin updates fine. With so many problems about the same issue when permissions are fine, perhaps you should look into it further instead of suggesting things we’ve clearly already tried.

June 24, 2015 at 7:57 pm in reply to: An error occurred while updating Enfold: Could not create directory. #464291I’m on Windows not Linux.

None of that helped but I’ll post there.

Hitting Check Manually goes to the WordPress Updates screen that says “Your themes are all up to date.”
This is not the MU plugin. It’s WordPress’s built-in feature. http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network
Does your theme work with Multisite? You would know more than I. It’s not a notification problem.
No. The install works fine so I guess my only option is FTP since your updater clearly doesn’t work on Windows.
The permissions are right.
It’s trying to create folder:
C:/HostingSpaces/djquad/killshotservers.com/wwwroot/wp-content/upgrade/enfold.zipAWSAccessKeyIdAKIAJYG5ROGJ6X7Z3M6QExpires1431711127Signatureij0PpxmTywa6sS%2F%2Fd8B7aveRtio%3Dresponse-content-dispositionattachment%3B-filename%3Dthemeforest-4519990-enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme-wordpress_theme
Which fails when it hits PHP’s mkdir function. Using a simpler folder name works.
http://killshotservers.com/test.phpI’m asking you what directory it’s trying to create.
That doesn’t include Windows. What directory is it trying to create?
Yes. Regardless whether I use the plugin or not (I may end up not), it would still be an issue with posting via Email. I’d like the image to automatically not be displayed by default. If I want it to be displayed I can edit the post later.
That won’t work because some posts do have featured images. I’d just like them to be not showed by default, unless I edit the post and uncheck the option.
This reply has been marked as private.Like I said in my OP, a plugin creates some of the posts. I also post via Email.
Thanks. Will this also make it not display the featured image on posts created outside of that form?
