I believe I may have just figured this out. It looks like the fix was to disable the CSS and JS file merging and compression options in Theme Options > Performance. Once I disabled those it looks like the formatting is fixed.
Disabling these options is recommended in your Child Theme documentation: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/child-theme/#toggle-id-4
However I confused those settings with the WordPress dashboard settings in Settings > Performance > Performance & speed.
I’m hosting on wordpress.com, and presumably their server does not play well with the merging and compression feature. Oddly everything worked ok in Private mode, but only broke when I changed the website to Public.
Hopefully keeping this thread in your Support archive will help others who run into this in the future. Could you please keep this Support thread open for another day or two so I can troubleshoot further to be sure this is fixed?
