That’s it working now.
I had made all of those changes (apart from the space in the Icon Label) individually but not all at the same time.
Perhaps the docs need a note about changing these variables as I thought they’d be picked up from the font file zip. Unless it’s perfectly obvious to everyone but myself. Blush

I had the same issue but it was caused by some custom css.

it was this code I had in my CSS:
.av-main-nav li {float: none; display: inline-block;}
that was causing the issue. (There wasn’t a custom header.php in the child theme, only a helper-main-menu.php.
The problem I have now is that the main menu is justified to the left whereas I want it over to the right as it was before the latest Enfold update.
Can you advise how I align the header menu to the right in line with the right hand content edge?

I will get a test page set up for you soon.
In the meantime, I’ve installed an Activity Log plugin to try and monitor what is being done at the time the issue occurs. But what I’m now concerned about is that the log is full of failed login attempts with the username I provided in this ticket. This is a brand new username and there is no way it should be the subject of an attack so quickly.
Unless 198.204.225.114 is one of your IP’s?

Yes. I had used a bit of code suggested in a previous ticket (https://kriesi.at/support/topic/how-do-i-disable-wordpressenfold-lightbox-but-retain-plugins-lightbox-effect/) as I was having issues with the Envira gallery plugin and the Lightbox not showing correctly.
I have now removed this as the client no longer uses Envira and everything works correctly.
NOTE: I’ve linked to the previous ticket so there’s a trail in case anyone else has a similar/related issue.

Thanks for your reply. I’m not sure why I have a copy of /js/avia.js in the child theme. It’s not something I normally do during development.
I’ve tried updating the file with the contents from /enfold/js/avia.js and the gallery is now working as expected.
I then removed this from the child theme thinking that if it was no longer present that it would default to the parent but it doesn’t. It leaves me with an area on the website where the gallery should be but no content and the sliders also stop working.
Can you advise?

Hi,
I’ve had a report from a customer with the same issue.
The masonry gallery is showing in the Dashboard but not on the front end on all of their pages.

We are running 4.0.5 and WP: 4.7.3
I’ve also seen a huge jump in automated spam recently and would like to see Google captcha integrated into Enfold.

thanks for that.
Transpires the header which was 245px high had been reduced down to 45px and therefore the logo was being hidden as it is positioned slightly left of the content.
I increased it and it now displays. Thanks for your help again.

Yes, I’ve set the colour section to be 430px so that the full width image works on larger screens.
My next step would have been to add some media queries but wanted to report it to the devs as I don’t think it is working as expected and hopefully help anyone else with this issue.
I’ll also look at the grid row element.

your reply and the css worked perfectly and then got me thinking and I found (stupidly) that I had an hr1:after in the code for adding an hr to something else. I tightened my css up by making this only apply to a child of a specific element and this has fixed it.
This was my fault and had absolutely nothing to do with Enfold. But you spent your support time helping fix my mistake.

I’ve another question while you’re here.. Is it possible to stack two columns one on top of each other? Eg, The design calls for two 1/3 columns one on top of each other to sit to the right of a 2/3 column. This is so I can create the coloured background blocks as above where it says forest school with a grey background then an image below.
I’ve tried this but the columns don’t stack and go onto the next horizontal line.

we’ve finally sorted the issue and it was all my fault. I had a custom template tucked away in the theme folder and that was causing the issue.
But, the fact that you guys helped me try to resolve the issue even though it was outside of your support remit is one of the reasons that we continue to use Enfold and purchase licences for our clients. It’s not just a fancy theme that matters but the support you receive and we are delighted with both.

sorry to be slow slow in replying. I’ve decided to ditch the The Events Calendar plugin as it is very limited in the functionality we require and gone back to the Event Manager plugin.
Can you advise if Enfold changes the WordPress default search function in anyway and if so, how can I remove this? We think that this is what is causing the issue with the From and To search feature.

Thanks Andy. I’m struggling to get the Advanced layout editor working on the events.
I’ve used the code:

I’m trying to enable the Advance layout for The events Calendar events using the code posted in: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/use-the-layout-builder-with-any-post-type/ but it’s not working.
I’ve used this several times before and changed:
$meta[‘page’][] = ‘post’;
to
$meta[‘page’][] = ‘event’;
But it’s not working for this plugin custom post types
